(1) Heavenly Sword was mediocre. Very short. Very average. For the amount of money Sony sunk in to it and it's aspirations, it didn't deliver.
(2) Based off what I've seen/played/heard regarding Enslaved, it's as if Ninja Theory and good old Tameem learned nothing from the whole HS experience. Hell, part of the character design (chick) looks remarkably like a ripoff of Nariko. Holy creativity!

(3) Part of the comment was for the idea of you putting faith in other people's reviews.

that. If you played the demo and it seems interesting to you, great... it's still sad to see people pay full retail for a NT game, but

-- who cares about "general impressions" of the game. If that was a benchmark to buy games based on, I should own Halo: Reach and shouldn't have gone anywhere near DR2 or CV:LoS. I know you're a strong-minded independent gamer and that statement made it sound as if you'd conceded to buy and play it because of reviews/impressions, not your own opinions/experiences.
Back to LoS. It's pretty sweet so far. At least I think so. ^_^
I liked Heavenly Sword, mainly because it portrayed a strong, female protagonist. I'm one of those people who doesn't fully trust demo's. I remember playing the demo for Valkyria Chronicles and not really liking it, and when I gave the full game a chance I was blown away. But for Enslaved, I enjoyed the demo, the video's I've watched are promising, and as I mentioned before the reviews are positive. I'm not putting faith in other people's reviews, but it's nice to see a general consensus that the game is good, and it just further encourages me to buy the game. But I can see where your coming from Frost, and I respect your opinion about NT.
