lol I'm so glad I didn't kill any pigeons during the game. Now that I beat it I can use a guide go back and kill everyone of them :D

somehow i doubt that. You probably got that one and are missing another one. I know a lot of people that posted how assassins creed was "glitched" because they couldnt find a flag, only to find it later.
 
Taking a 900 motorcycle to the skateboard park is pretty cool. I did a 180 up a halfpipe, went down and hit a ramp and did a flip and landed on the other side. :D

Meh, looks like having good days at work is more important to me than the 100% Club Contest, and the Social Club website hasn't updated for me since launch.

AC really did have flag glitches, though... I ran into one myself, and I was using a guide to get all the flags, it simply was never there.

I think I'm at 57 missions with 4 hours to go... I'll never make it, lol.

There are two over on the left side of the middle island, by the pay n spray, and one right near the driving range. Both have pretty good ramps.

There is also another one, its where a pigeon is....but i forget exactly where it was, but it was a giant full pool sized ramp.

Mine is "Better Than Any Meat Injection" (54 hours, 100%, longest streak 3:45 hours).

Haha, I believe I'm the same with 55 or so hours, 100%, longest streak was 6 or so hours (fuckin pigeons, only reason too).
 
What the hell.... i went to a gun shop, and was able to buy 30 rocket launcher missiles, 2000 of the carbon rifle bullets, which eventually put me under my 1 mil, then when i load the game it says i only have 8 rocket launcher missiles and 570 carbon bullets.

I've had a lot of problems with saves in GTA. At one point, I had to redo 3 missions because for some reason it didn't like my save. I'm not sure how they have the save system set up, but I usually wait until I am in a big lull between missions to save. If I do a few in a row and save, I might lose them all. Which sucks when one of them was the bank robbery. Almost broke my controller when I found that out. It took me 2 times to do it in the first place.

just activate the auto save if you haven't already.

I keep failing the Catch The Wave mission. What were your guys course of action on it? Damn Phil keeps going in there and dies.
 
Someone tell me if I'm almost done with the game, because I feel reluctant to finish so quickly, I don't really care about 30 hour mark I just don't want to finish the story missions so quickly.

I just got rid of Ray and U.L told me that Darko Brevic has been flown in, I'm about to go pick up Roman.

the funeral mission, just beat the guy trying to kill Bernie, and killed that body guard with the wire. 76 missions completed
with 6 hours, 20 mins left.

Basically what you do is once he shoots the guy through the window, you drive the truck forward and wedge it so he can't get in front of it, then you run around the building from the side, you may have to jump a fence... work your way to the back and then take out the guys in the warehouse from the back side. That way he doesn't run ahead of you and get his stupid ass killed.
 
Man, how long did it take for you guys to get the Stunt Jumps and Pigeons? What did you use to find them (did you buy the guide or what)? I'm at about 78% and I don't know if I'll be able to get 100% by Monday...

sounds like you have time... just to make sure, take taxis everywhere (teleport) and reload if you die.

I killed demitri and Roman called me to tell me that the wedding is at 10
is there anything I need to do to progress or I do I just have to kill time til someone text/calls me?

edit: nevermind. I had to venture to gamefaqs but I found the info I was looking for.
 
ok i suck at this game and its only mission2...so you save your cousin getting beat up, you chase the guy into that wearhouse w/ the knife...it says tap A to dodge then y or b to take it away...i do it and it wont work lol
 
Btw, is that how you counter? I don't really have a clue besides dodging at the right moment then pressing either X or Y. In the manual it said X or Y would be a counter but didn't seem to work.
 
Wow, Eddie Low was freaky...

I urge everyone to track down all the random pedestrians in the game, I started out doing it for the achievement, but they involve a ton of minor characters in the story, and also wrap up some loose ends... I really enjoyed doing all of them.

Don't worry - it probably isn't you. As much as I love this game, the melee system is pretty much broken. Luckily, you won't have to use it much.

Stand a shoulder-width apart from your attacker. Tap 'A' right as you see him start an attack. Then begin spamming 'Y'. I used this method (alternating 'B' for 'Y') to get the "Finish Him" achievement. I can tell you from practice that it works about 2/3rds of the time.

when he got hit by the car and the guy that hit him calls the police, he gets put on hold... waits for a sec and dashes back into his car to drive off... I shot the guy in the head since I took him as a asshole

was $$$.
 
So for that every friend likes me 90% achievement (Liberty City (5) After meeting all possible friends, the ones left alive all like you above 90%.), about when does this happen? And who is the last friend?

Little Jacob
Brucie
Packie
Dwayne*

It's easiest just to take care of this achievement after beating the game - unless you're not stressed for time (going for the Liberty City Minute achievement).

* = not necessary for the achievement.
