Did you at least get her "big warning of the future"?I did.
Chick is hella kray.
I was like "Vow? Shit gurl you gonna try n put a vow on my luv?"
Then I walked outside and saw that there were way too many people to talk to, so I stopped playing.
It gets much better but your criticisms won't really disappear, either.Only played about an hour or so of Nier, and so far its coming off as a mash-dat-button action game, with very little RPG-ness. I can only assume it gets better?
I mainly had a problem with constantly recharging it.I didn't have an issue with the Eleth Mixer. It was helpful actually.

Xillia is a good game and I'm having fun with it, to me It's just not as fun as Grace. I just started the game so maybe it will get better later in the game. Grace started off slow too so I'll give Xillia a chance. I don't care too much for the characters. Jude is the only character I like so far. Milla is basically what everyone describes. Her voice acting is horrible and she sounds so robotic. Sophie was monotone but she was likable. Maybe If I played as Jude first, I would had more fun with the game. It's just one extra thing to do at the Turtlez Shop. I mean, the shops are usually exactly where you'd want or need them, and you're going to stop there to resupply, sell, and dualize anyways, so it's really not a big deal.
Now I wonder if I should've started Xillia first. I really like Graces F's battle system and characters, and it sounds like Xillia's systems and story aren't as fun.
Yeah, I don't remember what she said though.Nier is worth playing multiple times over.
Did you at least get her "big warning of the future"?
Agreed.Sophie's monotone made her that much more adorable.

Are these board game nights secretly organized now? I suppose I'll idle on skype more often.Panzerfaust, you should play boardgames with us. We did Small World Underground last week; think we're doing Betrayal at House on the Hill this week.
Well, so long as you got Raise Dead from her. Have fun talking to everyone. Make sure you canvas the Smouldering Corpse pretty well.Yeah, I don't remember what she said though.
I'm going to have to face some challenges three and die while I can or something?
I was too distracted by the Jennifer Hale to really pay any attention.
I think Josh handles that stuff. Are these board game nights secretly organized now? I suppose I'll idle on skype more often.
I finished the first chapter with Milia at level 22. I starting to like the characters a bit more. I'm just not feeling Milia's voice. I do love her and Jude's combat.I like Milla.
Didn't have a problem with her voice acting. She has a lisp but ... what of it?
There's something about her where she still plays the typical "curious about the world to guide the reader/player" protagonist yet still has this badass streak about her.
Psssssssssst... Adamantoise. ;DAlso, PS3 FFXIV users get a free upgrade to PS4 version. I might jump in sooner rather than later.
Is anyone surprised at this point? The game that's now Final Fantasy XV was originally announced in 2006 and we don't even have a firm release window for it yet. It could come out next year or in 2015 for all we know. This is par for the course for Square now. Have to shake my head a little at anyone who thought just because Kingdom Hearts was announced at E3 that it was coming in a year or something.Yeah I knew KHIII wasn't coming til like 2017...
Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV will have a few years wait in between
Shinji Hashimoto, the producer of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, has told IGN there’s going to be a long wait between upcoming JRPGs Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XV, due to the titles sharing a director: Tetsuya Nomura.
I really liked Graces f battle system, best of any Tales of game. After playing it I went back to Abyss and was shocked at so many little annoyances that stuck out.I'm not enjoying Xillia as much as Graces F. The battle system is a step backwards IMO, more like older Tales games. Also the GP/grid system of leveling up is lame and unnecessarily complex--a literal spider's web of choices? Shading off of "areas"? Not intuitive at all.
I don't like how you start the game.with powers and then have those powers taken away...I HATE THAT SHIT GAME DEVS. STAHP DOING THAT SHIT YOU ARE NOT CLEVER AND YOU ARE NOT MAKING THE GAME FUN
I think game gets better later though? I hope so. Makes me want a Graces 2 or at least carry over of the Battle System into a future Tales game.
damn I don't know how I didn't hear about Project Phoenix, likely would have backed. is there a way to browse all game projects and not just staff/popular ones?
My big gripe with Vesperia is that the story seemed straight out of the PS era when people didn't finish it and there were half-assed resolutions to some of them, especially the Raven/Schwann arc. It's pretty much another standard Tales game for me, which is just fine, I think it's arguable that the series might've peaked with Vesperia.
Is Free Run ever even necessary?
I remember using it very sparingly in Abyss and practically never in Graces (I mean, that shit eats up your CC).
I never really saw it as useful unless you were getting backed into a wall or something.Yeah it is. In Graces, it helps to keep from getting surrounded, and overall, it just feels more natural to action. I dunno how I played the other Tales games before Abyss.
