Mirror's Edge has an interesting concept... a very interesting one. That already gives it a better chance of being good than most other games.
150% true.
my only fear for mirrors edge is if the animations will feel canned or natural. a game like that needs to be mostly natural.
Yeah, the animation and especially the transitions between animations have to be perfect, otherwise it'll just feel like shit.

New blog, ripe with typos and grammatical errors.

My friend wants me to play halo with him, but I can't bring myself to do it.

fuck, I inverted firefox somehow and can't undo it.

too tired to play games tonite

fallin behind on my goals yo...

I returned Folklore to gamefly yesterday and had Uncharted at the top of my list...

they ended up sending me Gotcha Force!!!

wtheck?!?!?! that game isnt even #2 on my list....

I hear a lot of people complain that Gamefly sends them games way down on their list.

I remedy that problem by only keeping 2 or 3 games in mine.

Managed to get an hour or so of Soul Calibur IV in before going to the bar. Still working on getting through everyone on story mode. Think I have 12 charcters left to go through. I'm enjoying it, gives me a chance to check them all out and decide who to practice with when I'm done. Mistsurugi, my standby in SC 1 and 2 still has the current edge, but I liked Shura and Rapheal as well.

Aquaman.

So I decided to put the blog feature to use and start doing some reviews. Alone in the Dark (the new one, ugh) is up now.

I rarely proofread, so watch out for that.

fuck guys I can't play (those) two games at once. I'm out of here before I end up having to juggle flaming TMKs while riding a motorized unicycle.

Played more TWEWY and watched the first two discs of six DBZ season 1. It is weird having the main character die in the first few episodes and not have him alive for most of the first season(or saga).

Tomorrow should bring an abundance of running around. Hopefully play more TWEWY.

I played through the brief Hot Shots demo. It was definitely a fun game. Is there much incentive to spend time on the game apart from the online modes, though?

eurogamer review of braid 10/10
http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=205102
I almost never give out full marks, generally reserving that honour for retro games that have proven their worth many times over, but Braid has me in its spell. Judged purely as a game, it's cunning, ingenious and endlessly surprising. The puzzles are varied, the level design is revelatory and the whole thing clicks together like clockwork. For those only interested in gameplay, it's simply an excellent puzzler-cum-platformer. But there's so much more here, a desire to create a game experience that is more than mere technical craft. That it succeeds in creating an abstract emotional experience, one where each player can find their own level of meaning and personal context, all within the confines of the 2D platformer, is perhaps the most astonishing achievement of all.

im thinking about starting a new contest for my site, we need a new main site header X_X

I have a good bunch of prizes im thinking about putting in... do you think i should reach out to our readers or just ask some photoshop proz to handle it?
yeah I doubt people will forget Braid. very important piece to driving what games can be.
Very brave opinion for a game you haven't played.

it's easy to say when you've seen so much of what the man behind it has to say. Just his philosophy alone will push this game to places people won't know they will want to go to.

and MM, if a contest goes up, I'd enter. I check SDT daily.

DL'd the demo, and now waiting for the BP Cagney update to DL.

When that's done, I'll try patchin' Uncharted.

Morning GGT,

More Burnout Paradise for me last night, I think I've OD'd on it for now so I'll be staying off it for a while. Quick tip for people playing it, try and do the Stunt Runs early on when you have a low level licence. I got my A licence last night and now the Stunt Runs seem to require a load more points (I found 2 last night that were 100'000 and 60'000). I'm not very good at the stunt runs and getting a better licence seems to make it way harder.

Seems like Braid is getting some good buzz, I'll give it a try tonight with a view to picking it up.

I downloaded Warhawk last night. I didn't really play too much of it. I was just running around in split-screen to get a few for the controls.

I wish you wouldn't capitalize that. Still waiting on a port, rerelease, remake, download, whatever.

:whistle2:(

I want E.V.O. so bad. That is the one game for the VC I want more than the usual CT/SMRPG/Earthbound. I could buy the cart only for $53.

Downloaded the Tales of Vesperia demo and played through some of it. I'm not a graphics snob, but damn, it's one pretty looking game. I'm now torn as to whether or not to get the LE *_*

Definitely get the ToV LE. I can't remember a Namco LE that wasn't truly limited. In fact, I can only remember the AC6 flight stick bundle and that is hard to find now.

Anyway, I'm in for one of those.

Last night, I DL'd the Braid demo, BP patch, and Uncharted patch...but only played WoW. Doh.
