Wasnt this site supposed to have 24/7 prizes in stock to redeem when it went live.
Lockerz banned me on their face book page for asking if SHOP was supposed to be what they meant. Now even if you have a ton of points you cant get anything for free.

The Redemptions are a joke with all the cheats, bots, + the international members using sites to let them use a USA address then ship it to them.

So glad to be done with this crap site. Give it a couple months & either they will lower the prices or go close all together.
 
What are the chances they jack up the ptz on the redemptions? I have a feeling ptz will go up by a lot. Expect paypal money to be like 100000 ptz for $1000 paypal. Damn you lockerz you better keep the ptz low. You said shop and redeem are seperate
 
Wow I checked this this thread to see how much prizes were going for these days and holy crap! I remember when they first started a PSP bundle was only 500 points. I'm glad a got a couple of games out of this before it went crazy.

As I predicted before, the triple points would continue and I know I've said something in the past to the phrase that they are going to actually drive down viewing of videos if they kept doing them so frequently cause no one will watch them normally.

The points it cost to get something from shop now is just a joke. 2,000 points only gets you like 2 bucks off a game. So glad I ordered Red Dead Redemption when I did.

My plan now is that I will keep just popping on to do the daily stuff cause it takes seconds and just keep an eye on if they start lowering price points again. Have to imagine this current system will all but completely stop shop from being used unless they implement a bunch of new, easy ways to gain significantly more points. (not 2-6 at a time)

in the past few weeks, they've (temporarily) increased points by 300%, but (permanently?) raised shop prices by 2000%. now i admit i'm no economy major, but something seems amiss there.
i see them either backpedaling soon, or not being around much longer.
even if they make the 3x ptz permanent and added new ways to get ptz, (like the rumored games) it isn't going to help. the time invested vs. reward just isn't worth it anymore.
 
The pricing system in SHOP is just way too odd for it to work out like that. For the low cost of 4xx ptz, I can get $30 off a pair of expensive Aerial7 phones... But it costs 100,000 ptz to get them for free, along with games and even systems. Obviously, they're doing that to combat people getting stuff for free at all.

TheEnd said it the best... Why give people the chance to get shit for free and then take it away in a power trip? Okay, okay, SHOP was created to give people DISCOUNTS on items mainly, but what the fuck? They have to understand this is the internet. If you promise free, you deliver or risk being trampled.

The reply I got from Kathy, if anybody is interested, is that she'll forward my problem to a LAB moderator. So, because I'm out about 10,000 ptz and in essence $140 worth of items, that is all she can do for me? MAYBE get me a response? I'm sorry, but for all the shit that LAB members put up with, trying to defend a site they sort of believed in, and then to get nothing in return... That's also bullshit. I put my time in, like everybody else who has complained on here, and not one of us seems to be getting anything out of Lockerz.


If I don't get things straightened out soon, I'm sending Kathy an E-mail expressing how I feel, and if anybody wants her to see how they feel, 100% anonymously, go ahead and say so. It might be the only time that they will see the negativity of their website through their rosy red glasses.
 
haha, yeah, lockerz PR is kind of a joke. They constantly retweet positive stuff on twitter and facebook ignoring the mass majority of people complaining about canceled orders or site errors, etc. They also are known to go an delete negative comments on their facebook, including again, people who complain about orders not being fulfilled or being accused of cheating, etc.

But yeah, the message from the "ceo" really highlighted their attitude with the whole "clever" comment in regards to people who get stuff for free. They claim they are making it easier to get the item for a lower price (that total point cost increases exponentially the further you put the slider, i.e. the first $10 comes off for less points than the last $10) but that being said 2,000 points will only net you $2 off a $30 game. That you could probably find new for $20. And not have to pay $8 shipping...

Just think how the forums are going to be... It's going to unfortunately backfire, and they are going to want the LAB members to clean up all the mess... Now that I think about it, I'm kind of excited to see the hundreds of threads created daily that are just full of expletives calling out Lockerz. Are they gonna ban the 60% of users who are angry with what Lockerz promised? That would make redemptions slightly easier to redeem during...

It’s like North Korean propaganda. Nah, the redemptions will be just as tough as ever. Because they aren’t gonna ban the cheaters. Why would they? The cheaters certainly aren’t gonna complain. They’ve got nothing to complain about. They just keep getting high-end prize after prize.
 
has anyone gotten 2 confirmations for your redeem prizes on the last 2 bonus shop redemptions? I got 1 for a $25 chillis gc but I redeemed another $25 chillis gift card on last weeks bonus. Damn lockerz probably thinks I only redeemed one since they are the same and took my ptz. Who has gotten 2 confirmaitons if you redeem on the bonus red..??
 
i bought mario kart off of shop last week for 10$ so i could get into the shop redemption and then i watched videos until i had enough for an ipod touch and if i didnt get one i was just going to buy something cheap in shop but i guess that isnt going to happen now i just hope they dont take the prices up in the redemption

getting tired of waiting in the past 3 days ive only had 12 hours of sleep i hope the redemption happens today
 
I knew I should have gotten a free game when it was 5k to get it. Now it's 100k ptz to get it free? I'm pretty much done with this site.

eh this is my biggest one. I got a $25 GC and a $100 GC before. The past bonus shop redemptions have been on Thursday in the 1 PM PST hour and it was no different this time. I just remember to refresh the page whenever I can while browsing the internet ;)
 
i got a 25$ amazon gift card but thats ok since i need some MS points

the ipod touch was gone when i got there but most of the 4gb ipods were still there

but do you only get an email when it ships or should i have gotten one as soon as i redeemed
 
sometimes you get an email saying your redemption was approved (many days after redeeming) and you may even get an email saying your prize shipped. But other times you don't get an email at all. it's quite random I'd say
 
what this new crap they are coming up with that 24 special members will be able to redeem. Let me guess they will make you spend 1000 ptz to get into a raffle and then they will select 24 lab members to redeem.
 
You know whats funny, despite how suspicious i am of lockerz... and things in general, I didn't even think that the VIP thing might just be fake. I don't know how anyone who hasn't already gotten everyone who would be interested to join Lockerz would be able to do so now that getting stuff for free is basically impossible.

so another redemption I failed to get in on huh? at least for July I had no idea of the time when in May and June I was unable to load the site after after a while for the redemption to go live.

has anyone's points expired yet? I think mine start going away in September. don't have much points (bit over 1000) but would like to get at least one prize (hopefully of value) before I'm done with this shitty site where hackers (especially foreign ones) rape the prizes and overload the site and sell off alt accounts on ebay.
 
Ptz expire too? Wow, what a colossal waste of time. It sucks that I haven't gotten anything after putting time to get 8k+ ptz. I hope this site folds or at least put Shop prices back to being reasonable for the amount of ptz they give you.
 
Awesome! New boutiques, but they're still fucking up. The only decent looking pair of Maui shorts only take 2430 to get the 100% discount, but it won't let me do it, it says I can only get a max of $38 off, even though I have 3715 ptz... Heh, gonna print screen it and see if they'll end up doing it.


Oh, and those cheap ass Blus are arriving today, and the Harajuku tank I ordered just for the hell of it is shipping, but still no Skullcandies... Which were ordered at the end of June... Mannn...

I doubt they will care in a way that will benefit you. More likely they will realize that the points are lower than they are supposed to be and adjust it to be like the others. (Not that you can actually buy any of the stuff, so that tells me the system has the "right" point amounts but the numbers that are showing are lower than supposed to be.

Basically we aren't supposed to be able to get anything for free at all anymore. Which makes the video when they announced shop where you could put the slider all the way to the right kind of ridiculous.

I think simply put, they figured that they weren't making enough money and there are tons of idiots who will buy stuff from them for $5 off.

Good point... Very good point, which would definitely be a reason why the two pricier electronics I failed to receive... Meh, when they really stop giving away stuff for free (like making all of the redemptions where you have to buy a certain amount worth in SHOP, maybe a free redemption every season) people will stop completely. Hell, I know a good number of people who used to post in this thread have sworn off Lockerz, and I'm at that point. Watching videos isn't even worth it anymore...
 
Notice how they spam shop on you when you logged in. I will keep trying. I get at least $25 in gift cards every redeption and I might just get lucky and get a big prize soon. No reason to leave when I should have 24000 ptz by the end of the week. about 6k ptz from shop bonus. NO I dont waste my money I did it when they did double ptz on shop and got the new 360 since I needed one

stupid lockerz they are now bitching that my $25 amazon gc was denied because I cheated. WTF. I redeemed more than 6 prizes and I have never had a problem. They say they were taking my points but I still have them. Should I contact them or see if they send an approval email later. That means if you redeemed a high prize you are getting it denied

Yeah, I'm looking at the stuff that might be harder for them to get... I'm sure if they get games in bulk, they get a pretty good wholesale discount (or so I'd believe, but I could be way off) whereas the electronics probably still are a bit expensive for them to obtain. I'm honestly believing they did screw over the people who did try to get the more expensive stuff for free...

yeah, but I never cheated. Well I was using auto refresh but not every 5 seconds I guess they caught that my I didnt cheat to get more ptz. I guess I have to wait I read back that someone got the same email and later they got an approved email and got their prize
 
Like most, I did grab some nice things on SHOP in May (3 Kurtz hats and a brown v neck shirt) and that was with appx 2600 points (not a dime out of pocket). Now that they've raised everything to ridiculous amounts, I only log in for the dailies and see if there's another points promo (then log off).

I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone anymore. It's getting to be almost impossible to get anything (in redemption or SHOP).

I'll come back once their traffic drops, they get bombarded with hate mail, realize they screwed up raising points in SHOP and go back. I'm not divulging 3-4 hours watching those dumba** videos by wannabe filmmakers/videocasters (except for D.I.Y., which is fantastic) and bands (that sound like every other band) that will never make it. Right now it's just a waste of time.

What Lockerz (and alot of these similar sites) fail to realize is that time is money.

at least with a site like points2shop you definitely have a shot at getting free stuff. I got enough points in 4 days to get a PS3 title for $12 and I didn't have to pay a penny.

try it yourself and find out

Aside from *No referrals allowed* in the thread title, I'm sure most of the people in this thread have heard of points2shop, so congrats. I've also definitely gotten stuff from Lockerz, but it's always been hit or miss, and now pretty much a miss. Good try, though.

I got in prizes went up by double almost. IMAC is 42500. Paypal is 21000 for like $250. I got $100 Amazon for 12000 ptz didnt notice the price until I redeemed but this site is done who the fuck is going to get 12000 ptz every month. If I dont get my Amazon GC this time I will fuck up lockerz I will file a claim on paypal for my 360 I bought from them I dont care I will make things up.

wow. I guess that is good news for those of use that redeemed. So I should be getting 8ptz back since Amazon $100 GC was only 4000 ptz last time. But, now the question is they will say that we cheated and take our ptz. I already did the shopping for the bonus redeption Yes, $10 fucking dollars but if I dont get something good I am done with lockerz officially.
 
Well I'm glad they are doing another redemption today, although I doubt there will be a lot in stock. I was ready for the redemption and I knew it was going to be around 4PM Est, but as luck would have it a freak storm appeared and knocked out my power just before the redemption went live. At least I still have chance to unload my points and be done with this site.
