No, the first one I was just the LBer's and the second i was any, any.

Also, I was the one who invited everyone for the first one, but the game went on just fine without me.

Yea when I sent out the invites it happen to me like that too but I was the team captian , which is the person who chooses the team and playbooks.

I haven't noticed this. At least not with the Redskins corners. And Joe Haden drops everything. I've dropped more easy picks than I have caught. Might be dependent on the corner. I'm sure Ed Reed picks everything which he should, he is Ed Reed lol.

Yea, I was pretty bad at them in 12, and now I'm grabbing everything out of the air.

Compared to last year, it is too easy. And I don't think so, I scrim a guy using the Raiders and he can do crazy things with those scrub cornerbacks. The Texans secondary is horrible but I'm also getting easy user picks with them.

Taking over for a jump ball and coming down with it is as easy as it's ever been.
 
I've only played 2 games and I can probably agree on that. It hasn't been that noticeable yet, but a bit. On the other hand, I've had a TON of passes hit my CPU CBs in the face and not come up with anything.

Yea we both had a few that hit us right in the hands and get dropped in the game we played

Right I was feeling the same way, Last year I was too, now I feel handicapped Im going to have to rely more on my cpu controlled secondary sadly

Well once you get this down, it's even easier than last year because they do the play for you if you hold Y. It's stupid.

Passing against someone decent on defense is pretty stupid right now.
 
did we discuss how we are dealing with current available free agents in the game? Plaxico Burress is one free agent I saw available in connected careers and for his ratings(88) definitely worth it.

holding Y was the way to pick it in last years madden, its just harder to switch and get to the spot in this game without screwing it up and getting the guy way out of position. last years game was 100 times easier to user pick. i feel like its easier to get picks in this game but not legit user picks where u switch and go get the ball.

this game is just weird its gonna take a while to get used to.

i hate how they flipped pumpfake from rb to lb, and they also flipped the position of the Y reciever. ive thrown so many picks and gotten sacked cuz of that shit.

Yes. There will be a waiver period for free agents. So you will need to wait until then to sign someone.

That sounds like I will be giving up a lot of long pass TDs. Ugh, in good news my xbox made it to Chicago safe and sound and I'll be ready to go on the league start date.
 
QB sneaks seem weird again. In my offline franchise i just QB sneaked for 14 yards with Romo. He broke like 3 tackles lol.

I think INT's are alot easier also. Also note to self if you audible the fullback.For a play action pass. He will get in the way and your QB will become a runner and you can't throw it away or anything.
 
Love the begals defense, could use a 4th linebacker. Pretty thin on offense im in the market for a starting rb and either a recieving te or a good slot reciever
 
Loving the Cowboys defense! I was horrible at defense last year, and I think I may be decent this year at it. It's really weird. Last year in Madden I was decent in offense and horrible at defense, and this year's it seems to be the opposite.

Of course i am saying this without playing online yet.
 
Just to let everyone know, as the owner of the Browns...I'm willing to trade for just about anything, and have the cap space to do so.

QB - Not my biggest concern, but I will listen if the asking price is right. And there are a couple guys in FA that I wouldn't mind having on my team.

WR - could use some help here.
OL - could use a little help here. I'm cool with Alex Mack and Joe Thomas, but could use some help on the right side and depth.

OLB - could use some help here.

RB - all 3 backups are on the block. (Hardesty, Brandon Jackson, Ogbonnaya)
Mid and late round draft picks are also up for grabs. It is going to take a key piece to get a high draft pick away from me.
