Mavs to the Finals: Congrats to the Heat
i agree, and pointing in your team's direction every single time the ball goes out of bounds, as if it makes a difference.
QFT, i love the pointing thing, haha

man, i hate the suns and raja bell and tim thomas. they are a flagrant foul machine waiting to happen if they make the conference finals.

Nets blew the last three games in the fourth quarter. There closeout performances disgusted me. Suns/Clippers was a great game though. It was weird seeing Nash struggle at the end of the 4th and OT. But they still came on top. I think this series will be decided in Game 7.
I still cannot believe the Cavs/Pistons series is tied. I don't mind though!
that is what is so great about sports.

As a Mavs fan, the one team I don't want to play is Phoenix. I think we could/can beat the Spurs, Pistons, Heat, Clippers, etc...

We match up well against all those teams, but Phoenix has really good team speed. Usually Dallas will win by running their opponents to death. Phoenix can run with the Mavs, and they usually give them fits. I just hope the Mavs learn how to play better defense before the Suns matchup.

I think the Mavs have grown up a lot during this series with San Antonio. I fully expect to see a much improved Mavs team against the Suns, if we play them.

If we play the Clippers, we'll throttle them, and I think Phoenix will be lucky to win two games against the Mavs.

what are your favorite games for n gage, grave?

awesome to see all the mavs fans. i hope phoenix does win, just so dallas can beat them. i didn't know Raja had been on the mavs, that's pretty cool. lol and i don't like him either. i do liek michael finley though.

I really enjoyed Tomb Raider and Tony Hawk. I thought they were really great ports. Tomb Raider played almost exactly like I remembered it on the PS1.

Other games I like are Mile High Pinball, Glimmerati, One, Pathway to Glory and X-Men Legends.

Yeah, he played with us a season and then left for the Jazz. I was kinda upset when he left because I thought he was a pretty good player.

I like Finley when he's not playing the Mavs. Pop blasted Mav fans for booing Finley, but I agree with it 100 percent. What are we supposed to do, cheer him when he gets the ball? No, we boo him and try to get him off his game. When he retires as a Maverick, we'll welcome him back with open arms, but as of right now, he's the enemy.

However, I don't have a good feeling about tonight's game. The Spurs have their backs against the wall big time, but for some reason, I just think they'll come back and take this one. If they do, I have no doubts that the Mavs will win the series at home.
Calling it right now.

San Antonio Spurs will comeback and win this series
Wow, bold prediction. Are you willing to put something on the line?
Wow, bold prediction. Are you willing to put something on the line?
This is coming from the guy that predicted the Giants (MLB) would make it to the WS this year. Take it with a grain.

And yes, I'll give you crap a little longer Ph33r.

1.9 secs to go for the pistons, i say if they lose the game, they lose the series
EDIT: YES CAVS WON YES YES YES YES YES!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, Sheed eats his words again.

Well, I wonder if he'd actually put up something of reasonable value to backup that claim of his.

I say Spurs win tonite and they can win game 7, if they can make it there... the big factor though if the Spurs do win tonite is game 6 in Dallas , Dallas will probably win that, but if they don't...

What a terrible play by Rip. Looked like he threw the ball away on purpose. Sheed was open at the top of the key i dont know why they went in the corner where Rip was doubled up. Cavs are surprising everyone.

For someone that used to be the heart and soul of the mavericks team, its pretty rude to boo him because he's not there anymore. Its not like it was his choice to leave. Also, he didn't just get boo-ed when he got the ball, he was boo-ed whenever he went back onto the court.

*cough*Johnny Damon*cough* returning to Boston this year.

But on topic, I love it when Rasheed is forced to eat his words.

He's a greedyass traitor. Anyone who leaves their team for yankees deserves being boo-ed.

To Spurs winning? What would I be willing to put up? I ono, idea to you big boy.
He's a greedyass traitor. Anyone who leaves their team for yankees deserves being boo-ed.
Very true.

I will admit Finley taking a pay cut to go to the champs was a classy move, especially with all these greedy players out there. But atleast he didn't jump from Philly to elsewhere and go back, that'd be nuts.

This has to hurt Kobe being in the studio right now when he was watching the Cavs/Pistons game. The fact that LeBron is making Damon Jones and Donyell Marshall look like playmakers, makes Kobe look like a fool.
He's a greedyass traitor. Anyone who leaves their team for yankees deserves being boo-ed.
bullshit. The red sox lowballed his ass and didn't take care of him. 12 million dollars is piddly shit to them and if it would have made him feel better they should have given it to him. He already said he would have taken a discount to stay with Boston, but 12 million is not a discount.

and Finley is still getting 16 million from the Mavs so its not like his 1 million dollar salary is something to look at in awe.

Had he gone to any team, other than the Yankees, it'd all be a mute point, but he went to the hated rivals, for finanial reasons.

And thanks for reminding me about Finley still getting paid by the Mavs for the year, I had completely forgotten about that.

There's a difference between the 2. Damon wanted more money so he went to yankees. Finley was traded, Mavs didn't want him anymore, what do you want him to do?
There's a difference between the 2. Damon wanted more money so he went to yankees. Finley was traded, Mavs didn't want him anymore, what do you want him to do?
Yeah, I think the Mavs fans are fools for booing Finley. Like a few people said he wasn't the one that wanted to leave the Mavs did not want him anymore. And to me anyone that goes to the Yankess I boo.

Finley was released because by doing so it saved the organization more than $50 million. Him signing with the Spurs is very similar to Damon going to the Yankees.

Yes, Finley was the heart and soul of the Mavericks, but he is now a part of the much-hated Spurs. What do you think the fans should do? Cheer him? Maybe a golf clap or two? Please.

Like I said, when he retires, he'll be a Maverick again if he chooses to do so, but until that time, he's no one to cheer when he's playing against the Mavericks.

It's neither wrong or unclassy for Mavs fans to boo him.

It's very different between Finley and Damon. Finley can be booed all the Mavs fans want, but the BoSox Fans I don't know why they would, last time I checked he was really the ring leader along with Schilling and Ortiz who won the WS for oh..only the first time in 86 years?
Finley just ABUSED Dampier. Jeez.
Yeah, that was a pretty nice dunk. Finley will do that once or twice a game. I remember the good ol' days when he went to the rim with regularity. A big reason for his falling out with management was because he no longer attacked the basket and would settle for jumpshot after jumpshot.

Man, that was a great block by Bowen. I gotta give it to him on that play.

Hah hah. Finley was going crazy cause he said Terry punched him in the stomach while they were fighting for the ball.

Dallas timeout with 2.5 seconds to go!!!

Damn, Spurs win. I know I shouldn't have called it before the game. I jinxed my boys.

Oh well, at least they'll finish off the Spurs in front of their fans!!!

Go Mavs!
