anyway, CAG games need to be in a certain channel,

I do not have my game turned on rite now so I can't decide for u guys...

and the person hiding in the box will go back to the truck.

I've capptured like 5 dudes at a time this way

Infinitely. I also enjoyed the first Acid a lot, but the second one just blew it away. Everything about it was better... though for those people who didn't like the first one, it won't change your mind.

Although I ended up playing the 2nd MGA first, it blew me away when I rented it. The cel-shaded graphics worked great, soundtrack was excellent, and the gameplay was loads of fun. I even found the story to be pretty good. I loved it way more than I thought I would, so I ended up picking MGA up (since it was cheap, and I thought I'd like it about the same). Well, I like MGA, but I cannot deny it has a few small problems, so I don't like it as much as MGA2. Still glad I got it though. Although Portable Ops looks awesome (I plan to get it), I hope to see a 3rd MGA in the future.
 
I love the MGS series but anyone else feel this game just isn't very fun? I find the whole chore of dragging people around to recruit them and switching characters and micromanaging them to be very tedious. I just wanted some straight forward metal gear solo sneaking action with some solid espianoge story =(. very dissapointed
 
I personally like the mixture of MGS and MGA. Finding new units and working with stats/equiptment is a lot of fun for me.

Once you get to a certain point you won't have to do recuiting as much. You really don't have to to move on through the missions.

And remember this is a portable game, so that is why they missions are built the way they are. Instead of wide open spaces to explore, you get smaller locations with various tasks to build to "short yet sweet" experiance you usually find in portable games.

How do you check the rankings for cyber survival? My team got obliterated after leaving them alone for a day >_< I have to read the report, but it's a long ass file.

Yeh I wish the reports were done better. Cool to see every action, but the way it was done makes me think it was added later in the development.
 
Hey guys, I just picked up my copy tonight. Played the first few missions. Feels like a winner so far. I like the ones that are set in the 70's (I want to find the guy that looks like the orginal Metal Gear game with the big ass headset and army clothes)

I actually was able to get a couple guys on my team. I scanned my Wireless router and got a guy named Bison... Medical guy... Anybody else get him? Anyway, I'm sure I will get smoked playing online, but I'll be on in a day or two.

it feels like a chess game that I have no idea how to play right >_< I'm still confused by it.

on another note: unlocked Reikov, Sigint, and Para-medic yesterday and today :)

now to somehow get that damn gene >_<

Ocelot will probably be the hardest guy to get.

Most people don't own a PSP.

With the way PSP games drop price, whether it be on sale or on clearance, I'm waiting until I can snag this for $30 or less since none of my EB's / GS's had the preorder case.

I just think not many CAGs own a PSP and like metal gear... pretty sad :(

I'm willing to host a game if anyone is interested... LMK if so so that I can password protect it.

I'll probably join, but my army is really pathetic. Maybe you should make it public? Unless some of the guys here who have the game can join us... I see a few are online actually.

i have a deathmatch room like u wanted. you guys arent bad at all actually. it's not hard to play online. I'm not as great as I seem really.

I got the game on Wednesday, but I been busy with work. Finish up the first few mission, good game so far. How's the online modes? Anything like MGS: S? I still played that online till about a couple of weeks ago when I sold my ps2.

Only got the game because I got the free case otherwise I would've waited.

You have to load your game, and then hit "X." and go to "Match."

"Free VS" is ad-hoc only, I believe.

Edit: You might have to do a few things in single player before you can play online, I'm not positive though.

The game is created, do you see it? I'm wondering if I have to port forward for my game to show up properly.

The name of the game, should be "CAG Game."
 
Hey Yukine...its not letting me join your game for some reason...gave me the same problem with Rolento's game until it finally let me in. I'll keep trying though.

Hmm, I was able to join Rolento's game just fine.

It might have something to do with the router's firewall. I can't seem to find anything about which ports I should forward though.
