Man, the weather forecast right now is hilarious. It's basically saying "just stay inside and play video games. Maybe start watching that anime you wanted to watch. At worst, order pizza and go downstairs to get it." Still waiting to find out if all my classes are cancelled, but it's looking like a pretty sure thing ^_^

So my new warehouse deals Xbox S came in. I tried to do a license transfer and the page timed out. The transfer failed, but I can't try it again for another.

This happened to me too. I never figured out why it kept failing, and I think I gave up or something. >_<

I think my MvC team will be X23/Sentinel/Phoenix, but I really want to use Trish, 'cause well, it's Trish. Demon hoes! Wooo!

Hydrophobia is only $5 this week? I wonder if I should bite on that. I heard nothing but bad things about the game when it was first released and then they released some patch supposedly fixing a number of problems reviewers had. But I haven't seen anyone talk about it...
 
I personally wouldn't buy Hydrophobia based on principle alone. The way they lashed out against anyone who said anything bad about the game makes me not want to give them any money.

I'm surprised everyone already seems to know who they want to play as in MvC3. I won't know who I want to play with until I've tried everyone out at least once.
 
There's just too many fucking characters. I'll be bored of the game before I find the time to actually play all of them. I'd rather just learn a few interesting/decent characters and go from there. I'm never going to be leaderboard good anyways.
 
Beat Ghost Trick last night. Awesome game, seriously. It has one of the most addictive gameplay features implemented in a game, and it was just the right length too. I really hope it gets more recognition, as the DS has some kick ass titles right now.

Well I didn't necessarily mean literally everyone. I just meant that there are far more than 3 characters I'd like to try out before deciding who to stick with.

Yeah, that's basically how I'm looking at it. Going into TvC, I wanted to have Frank West on my team, but he ended up sucking (at least in my unworthy hands). I ended up maining two characters I hadn't even heard of before.

Obviously there are a lot more characters in MvC3, but I'd still like to try out a bunch of the ones that seem cool/interesting.

I pretty much suck at fighters in general, but I at least like to feel comfortable with the characters I'm gonna lose with. :lol:

Anybody an audiophile here? I want to get Beats by Dre. The sound is amazing, but the price tag on it is ridiculous. Anybody know of headphones with similar quality but a cheaper price tag?

It's easy to understand why they did it. They put all that time into a game only to have review come out and say it's crap. Of course they could have handled that much better. But it seems that they learned their lesson. The Hydrophobia Pure update and price drop to $800 points is proof of that.

From some impressions I read about the game Phoenix seems to take more damage than other characters and I think Hulk has attacks that do more damage than other characters. Could just be that match-up is gonna be bad, I'll still give her a try.

So what do you find "amazing" about the sound? Then maybe we can point you in the right direction. Also what's your budget?

For instance in this video you can see that Phoenix is able to kill Magneto fairly fast and doesn't die instantly.

I understand why they would want to defend their game, but saying that they could have handled it better is an understatement. The way that they called reviewers liars for pointing out the problems in the game, only to later go and fix those problems doesn't exactly make me feel any better about giving them money. I mean I'm glad they patched it, but it seems pretty hypocritical of them.

Until you unlock Sentinel, who will you use? (I'm having the same issue with Lei Lei)

As much as I hate Sentinel, if he's as ridiculously overpowered as he looks, maybe I should use him as my third once unlocked.

Yea, she has bitch ass health, she's meant to be played as a pure rush down character and her level 5 is a resurrection.

Yeah, same here. It's been horrible, the wind is up to 20 mph now and the snow is coming down hard. The weather said tomorrow everyone should stay off the road and the schools around here actually got scared enough to close tomorrow, which is something weird, because they literally never close the day before.
 
In that video, Magneto doesnt killer instantly because he only hits her with 2 projectiles and 2 blocked projectiles. That took about 2/3s health. Chris subsequently killed her with 1 move into super.

Pretty much every character in the game is going to be able to kill her with A, B, C, Super.

The only way to play her is to play her PERFECTLY.

Considering I hate or am ambivalent about 97% of the cast, it's easy. Dante is the only one I know I want to play. Several I'll try, but for characters I actually like? Dante and Lei Lei. Maybe Zero since he's voiced by JYB. I like the idea of Dante hanging out with 2 chicks though. So I'll have to figure that out... maybe Chun-Li if her JP voice actress is better than the US one. :lol:

Just tried the Bulletstorm demo. Not bad at all. Score chasing is going to be intense.

I just plan on playing mvc3/KZ3 alot, but down the road I know this site is going to hook it up with a sweet deal.

EA is coming out of the wetworks with some top tier games this year: Dragon Age 2, ME3, Crysis 2, Dead Space 2 (came out), New Fight Night, and maybe a new BF? (not including its yearly/bi-yearly titles).

I know EA doesn't make all of these games, but damn that is one hell of a line up to be distributing for. EA is also predicting that this year they will make more money in DLC sales than in disc based sales. Believe it.
