Favre dug them a hole and had a REALLY bad game ending with him leaving the game due to an elbow injury. They also did not have KGB or Woodson plus they got away from their game most of the time in the first half and played Zone, only god knows why.
The fact that they were able to hang in there and go for the potential win without key players, screwing around with their defensive/offensive schemes, Favre chucking INT's, and allow TO to make plays (Did they not watch the Patriots-Eagles game?!?) while playing on the road does comfort me a little, but a loss is a loss and I'm bummed :/
Packers have the Raiders and the Rams so they'll be able to get back on track, and hopefully Favre can shake it off, but I am worried about that elbow injury and how it might affect his performance later in the season.
I'd have to say great job to Aaron Rodgers for his performance, from what I saw in the highlights, the future does look good for the Packers at the QB spot. I'm impressed since it's his first actual career game where he has played a majority of the game, not to mention it being one of the biggest games of the season.
I'm surprised they allowed Tony Romo to roam free and not get a single sack in, and the secondary seems like it just got worked from beginning to end.[/QUOTE]
Farve played a little over a quarter and one of his INTs was when he got hit on the elbow. I would not say he had a bad game though because he did not even play a half. Yeah his first INT was a bad decision but that was really all he did wrong. And TO made plays because those two guys you mentioned were not there. Woodson and KGB make a huge difference in how a team can pass on them.
