I can't remember Sony doing very many LE consoles. Obviously the Destiny bundle as of late, but what did they have for the last generation?

They had red, white and blue PS3s as well as Metal Gear in the US. For PS2 they did white, silver, and the automobile color collection in the US. I'm probably forgetting some, but they have definitely done LE consoles before in the past two generations, although often much later in the console lifecycle.

 
Sony actually makes a decent amount of LE consoles, but Usa doesn't get nearly as many as Japan.  Off the top of my head Japan got a couple FF 13, a couple Yakuza, One Piece, Xillia, a FF Advert, and Ni no kuni LE consoles. So maybe this gen we will see more too.

Ah! That's interesting! I'm a mega-huge Mass Effect fan, so from a history standpoint, this is really interesting. Good work finding that.

Anyway, the LE for ME1 has come down a bit. Prior to ME3, it was going for about $100. Now, I think $60 is a reasonable price. It's not a great LE, but it's a fun collectible.

IGN posted an up-close look at both The Order's 1886 Collector's Edition at PSX. Not an unboxing but it does show how good the statues look. I didn't even know you were getting a medallion with it. Overall pretty slick.

You mean the Black Water Vial with Chain? It should be able to fit in the secret compartment in the artbook, but it didn't show in the video.

 
Received the Kingdom Hearts 2.5 Collector's edition that was supposed to be a gift for my girlfriend, and the box was bent and ripped. Hulk smash.

They addressed the issue on their twitter and advised those with damaged boxes or items to contact support. I think most, including me, have gotten back a reply saying they escalated the problem and will get back to us. Been almost a week for me though and no reply yet.

Those statues are surprisingly nice. Would love the larger one but I can't justify picking up that one when I lucked in on the smaller one for $48 at BBY

That boxed looked damage that they had on display!

 
The Order statue could be 1" tall for all it matters, 95% of the people will never open the box and sit on them for 5+years to flip them or flip them as pre-orders on release day for profit. CE are made for flippers/scalpers.

Quick question. Anyone who received a damaged dragon age inquisitor edition have their broken pieces replaced ? Is there an email I can start the replacement process ?

Just go to your local Gamestop store and ask them about your damaged Inquisitor Edition. Bring the receipt/packing slip and that should be good enough for the 1st trip. Also make sure they have your phone number or PUR card number. They will email Bioware and should give you a call when the new set ships to their store. Then for the 2nd trip make sure to bring your damaged set to swap it out. I choose the best items from both boxes and was pretty pleased. My local Gamestop is super awesome though and it was a easy process. Hopefully others have an equally smooth process. That's how it worked out for me and hopefully it isn't too bad for ya.

Wtf? I emailed Josh from Triforce weeks ago and am awaiting for my replacement still!
 
I just returned mine. It wasnt worth waiting for an official announcement and risk being displeased with whatever they finally decide to do.

They are all out of replacements and have been for weeks. For now, all you can do is contact Josh from Triforce and he'll send you the generic "we'll let you know" response.

I just did my replacement process at Gamestop last Tuesday. So they had replacements at least till last week.

 
Does anyone think the Witcher 3 CE will ever be available again? I have been checking everywhere for the past two months but its been sold out :cry:

Check again closer to release. Amazon may open up preorders once people's cards get charged and some cancellations go through. I can't say whether other retailers will do the same.

 
Witcher 3 can take the time it needs. I will keep my CE sealed and then buy a vanilla copy on launch to play. I can only afford to buy one non-CE launch title per year and I would like my money to go to developers who refuse to participate in the DLC extraction trend.

I managed to find Persona Q: Shadow Of The Labyrinth Wild Cards Premium Edition at my local Best Buy for $63.99 after GCU! Woo! I was just about to settle for Amazon's version but glad I didn't. I was pretty bummed I missed out preordering this when it was available on Best Buy site weeks ago leading up to the release date.

Has anyone heard from Triforce about the DA CE? It's been a week for me & radio silence other than the initial reply.
