Going Back to yesterday, Did anyone else notice Grammatica being held down by his teamates after he won the game? Even they didn't want him to celebrate.

hahahahahhahahahahahha wow the Panthers are pathetic. How the hell do we beat them with Garcia? Not to mention our 28th ranked run D. Eagles win baby!

I am just glad that the NFC is so shitty this year. Even with the crappy record the Panthers have they are still up there for the Wild Card. If they win next week and the division games they have to play then they have a shot.

Their defense needs to start playing better though. Jake may have thrown some bad picks, but the defense just seems to forget how to play when the game is on the line for some reason.

ALSO STOP GOING TO KEYSHAWN IN GAME WINNING SITUATIONS.

fuck you Delhomme.

Not only do you throw the worst INT I've ever seen to allow Philly to take the lead, but then you throw another INT inside the 10 with a shot to either tie or win the game. Way to go you dumb ass. You should be thrilled that your back-up is worthless otherwise you'd probably be benched.

I hope they draft your replacement this year.

Bears might give you Grossman for cheap...

You can't be serious. 1-15 wasn't all that long ago and don't you remember how that came about? Carolina goes to the playoffs (I think they even made it to the second round ) and then they ditch Buerlein and proceed to win only one game the next year. The grass isn't always greener.

A lot of it is the play calling and the lack of focus on Steve Smith. A lot of it is the defense. A lot of it is the running game. And a lot of it is Jake. That said he isn't the reason they are 6-6. It is a collective effort and when you go into the fourth quarter with the lead as much as they have, their defense has to learn to start stopping people.

I'd much rather have a rookie running the team than another sorry excuse of a NFL quarterback.

I'm very serious in wanting Delhomme out of there. These games we're losing we could easily win. This is what, the second week of the past three that Delhomme literally threw the game away when we were deep inside the opposing team's side of the field with time to spare?

I know it's a team effort, but when your quarterback is throwing interceptions that seal the loss in situations where your team could easily win or at worst tie the game something isn't right and needs to change. Say all you want about how if the defense held up more or if the running game was actually a running game, Delhomme as the quarterback has to make better decisions with the game on the line. That is what he's paid to do.

Carolina has way too much talent to be 6-6 and Delhomme has cost us at least two games already on his own. Thank God the NFC is a joke and anyone could win it, because otherwise this season would in all likelihood be over already for Carolina. If he can't make good decisions with the game on the line he's a much bigger liability than the defense or the running game.

The defense is the reason he is put in the situations that they are. Before this game they had given up 16 points total in the first quarter and close to 100 in the fourth. They have walked into the fourth quarter with the lead in 7 of the first 8 games (its either 10 out of 12 or 11 out of 12 now ).

He is 5-2 in the playoffs and has more fourth quarter comebacks than any other quarterback in the league since he took over as starter. He ain't garbage and anything you replace him won't be nearly as good as he has been. This team just hasn't gelled like it has in the past. This team is a notorious slow starter as well and it seems as if they just haven't had the spark lit under them yet.

They could end up being this years Steelers if they get their act together. They have the talent but just havn't put things together yet. As long as they play well enough down the stretch where they squeek in, they will be fine.

Lay off of Grossman, he's played less than twenty NFL games in his career, what do you expect? He's still young. The guy's got talent, he just needs time (and less injuries). Even though Griese gives the Bears the best chance to win now, sticking with Grossman is the best move for the Bears' future.

In real time it looked like Keyshawn did get held. After seeing 1 replay, you saw that keyshawn pretty much just misread the ball.

Also interesting fact they showed in the game. The Panthers have lost 5 games while leading into the 4th quarter. If they could just close out games they would be 11-1 right now.

You're right. He may be the best move for the future, at least until he steps back onto the field.

Food for thought: At this point last year, Kyle Orton won 10 games. Just saying.
Wow, the Lions really know how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory, don't they?
The Lions have the Benny Hill theme song pumped in their helmets in the 4th quarter.

From what it looks like down in Houston, Kubiak might think now that David Carr isn't the future for the Texans. Kubiak avoided talking about Carr and looked very uncomfortable when asked by the media to comment on him. He pretty much evaded the question entirely. . When he fumbled 3 times (2 lost) in the first half, threw for 32 yds passing, gave the Rock to slow-ass Ron Dayne in the 2nd half about 90% of the time, and Kubiak chewed the fucking hell of Carr on the sidelines against the Raiders, there's something wrong with Carr. This upcoming week, Vince Young comes back home to face the team who passed on him and make them PAY. This is DEFINING GAME/CAREER for one David Carr. This game is the most pressure he has ever dealt with. If he wins this game, a lot of people will shut up for the rest of the season at least. But if doesn't win, Houston fans will possibly riot Reliant Stadium this Sunday.

it wouldn't matter who is back there for Houston.. they have no offensive line.. how do expect them to do anything... what they should have done was draft the Jets draft picks...

Gotta agree there. Carr is 69% passing this year...when he gets a chance to throw it. Andre Johnson is a decent WR, but I don't see anyone that scares me as a defense. They also appear to have four passable RBs, but no one I'd think twice about.

What Houston really needs is a better talent evaluator.

he has 69% passing b/c he's been throwing in 3-step drops and throwing 5-10 yd passes. Most of his TDs came in the 4th qtr when they were blown out (vs indy, vs jets, and redskins). The o-line has improved a bit but still needs work. Carr just doesn't have the confidence or the poise need for a typical QB that could lead a team even into the playoffs.

Your acting like Houston actually had a chance this year to make the playoffs. Carr is not the reason why the Texans suck. The teamas a whole is pure shit, simple as that.

I know this year and next year don't won't have a chance in hell of making the playoffs. Yes, I know the talent fucking sucks ass but Kubiak has found great talent this offseason as a good start for his reign (Mario Williams, Demeco Ryans (Defensive ROY), Owen Daniels, and Anthony Weaver). Carr is on the hot seat this year and Kubiak is just tired of his QB play. I think his brain has been bashed into to a billion pieces and Kubiak is trying to clean them back together. Unfortunately, Kubiak, who i bet is disappointed, can't seemed to fix him after 1 year of coaching him. I know you guys don't watch Texans games and i'll cut yall slack. I've seen every game of David Carr's career with the texans. He has tremendous talent and no question about that. But, he doesn't show that consistent play from a QB stance and confidence from everyone and himself to led the Texans. I think everyone should not be surprised if Kubiak pulls the plug on Carr.
I can't believe it has been a MONTH since the Giants last won a game. Disgusting.
Thats awesome for me though :)

look.. the guy has been sacked an about an avg of 55 times (68 times in 05) since he was drafted.. Your OL has never been good enough to give him time. It would be ridiculous to think that the reason the Texans are doing so bad was because of Carr..

I wish the Redskins would have kept Patrick Ramsey. Campbell has a chance to be decent, but Ramsey already had experience and is still young. He just never got a coach who would back him.

I'm still in shock that Childress (spelling?) kepted Brad Johnson in as QB as long as he did. fucking idiot.
Oh, Vikes, thanks for taking Childress. The guy's a dumbass. w00t
I love how people in the local media are still defending Johnson. He has sucked this year...hard.

I never thought I'd say this as an Indy resident and a Colts' fan, but this team is an embarassment. A team, especially defensively, that plays like this, shouldn't be in the playoffs. The good thing is that they'll be taken out in their first game, so football fans won't have to endure such a sorry excuse for tackling and defensive play.

What a sorry excuse for a defensive team the front office has put together around Peyton and Marvin, two of the better players and people in the NFL. The worst thing is, in the post-game conference fans will get fed the same bullshit that we get fed after every 150+yard opponent rushing game--the team just needs to get back to basics and tackle better when they're getting blown off the line and can't get off blocks.
What is up with my Eagles? Jeff Garcia is the messiah or something.
Well, he was in a West Coast offense most of the time in his career and that is the same kind of offense in Philly.
What a day that Rudi and Jones-Drew are having. They're are giving me hope of cancelling out LT later today with their 5 combined TD to this point.
Probably not

LT has been a beast here recently, last year was nice when I had LT and Shaun Alexander as my RBs I really didn't need much else. They usually managed to get over half the points for my team.
Ladell Betts is the only bright spot for the Skins right now. He's playing his ass off.
That pass Randel El just threw looked pretty nice too.

Well unless LT does get over 250 yds and 5 scores, its going to be a wash. And the guy I am going against has Dillon as his other back. But with LT, anything is possible.

I would like you think that you would be safe, but like you said anything is possible, esp. when LT decides he wants to throw for a TD every now and again.

The Colts' game is so brutal it has turned me into a woman. I switched through channels and ended up watching bits of Ghost and just dropped $150 in clothes online. fucking defense.

That was awesome, but the Skins are like the Glass Joe of the football world.

The damn Dolphins are so inconsistent. They spanked the Pats today, but it's too little, too late. They're like the (pre 2004) Red Sox of football.
