I say if we don't have a win by then, just pack it in and get the 1st pick in the draft. Tennessee and Detriot will probably manage to pick up a win some time soon, especially since Tennessee plays Houston.
Any of the winless teams would blow-out the Raiders, my god they're horrible. I don't think the Bucs need to waste any of their early picks on WRs, they need help at LB and in the secondary, the D-line is just having an off year. Above anything else, they need to pick up a vet QB in free agency.
The Dallas/Philly game has been pretty damn good. It's great when a game actually lives up to its hype.
And this could be the play that ends Dallas' hope of winning or a tie.

Edit: That was a stupid play on Philly's D. Talk about giving them a chance.
Oh man, what a break for Dallas. From 4th and 18 from mid-field to 1st and goal on a penalty.
We spoke too soon. Dallas just got pick 6ed
Lito Sheppard almost screwed up on that return.
I saw that and was thinking, what the fuck is he thinking. Had that guy had another step, he'd probably been there to swipe the ball and possibly get a decent runback before anyone was the wiser.

Whew I heard the Lions imploded in the 4th to come through with a loss and remain perfect on the season. :D

Man, this was a really bad week for my fantasy team. And a really, really bad week to have Roy Williams and Larry Fitzgerald as two of my starting recievers. I just hope they both aren't out long. In the 3 WR league it can be slim pickings to find replacements.

they werent doing too hot anyway..Boldin is appearing to be the goto guy again in Zona and Williams is still good but if you can get your hands on Greg Jennings or reggie williams...go for it..i think those guys are more then enough replacements for them.....even guys like wes welker could be a nice fill in if the pickings are that slim.

Denver beat Baltimore in one of the best defensive struggles I've ever seen. :D McNair just couldn't keep the ball away from the deadly Denver secondary, with Bailey turning the tide of the game at the end of the first half with that great interception. Plummer's TD pass to end the game was also great.

I noticed that the MNF crew kept talking about Sauerbrun's suspension every single time that Denver punted, which was a lot. That was just annoying as they only needed to say it once.

I don't know Boldin is really becoming the "go to guy" exactly, besides the injury obviously. They were pretty even through the first four games this and all of last year. Personally I like Fitzgerald more because they throw to him in the redzone more often, Boldin usually has to break one at 20+ yds to get in the endzone.

And most unfortunately all of those guys are taken. I like a 3 wideout league like the one I'm in, but you have to be eztra crafty to pick up decent wideouts midseason because not only do people have to start 3, but they keep at least 1 or 2 on the bench. I was able to get Mike Furrey, who should be decent replacement if Williams can't go, Bryant Johnson is another possibility. And thank god I was able to pick up marcus Colston in week 1 and I can switch him between a WR or a TE. At first I thought about trading him or Gates because I don't need to standout TEs, but I'm really glad I didn't now.

I think I'm going to give up on fantasy football this year. I'm 1-4 in each of my leagues and I consistantly score about half of my opponents' points as several of my players get zeros like they didn't even play in the game. I just cannot make the right picks if I even have the good picks to make.

:D Nice to see the Lions are getting some national exposure.
Yeah. I think the Detroit/Oakland game should be played at Ford field since the Lions don't need it ;)

It is a horrible season though. Millen is a mess, the whole team is in shambles. The OL is a patchwork mess too. Woody is done for the season, our new FA's on the line are a bust/injured. We'll have TWO rookies starting this week. One an undrafted FA.

The WR's are a mess too. They released Corey Bradford, their GREAT FA pickup. Also, they bring in ANOTHER WR to replace Woody on the roster...that makes sense. Mike Williams should just pack his bags, since Millen wants nothing to do with him. What a mess.

ouch..yeah in a 3wr league its a must to keep atleast 2 on reserve just for the byes and injuries alone. you could try to pull the rip off trade and get a needed reciever and trade two avg players.agreed...colston's flexibility just gives so much added value and we all know how about gates. Furrey is a good pick up too...i know when im in need for wrs like this week because of the 6 team bye..are even guys like michael jenkins or peerless price available? jenkins is going up against the 27th ranked pass D in the giants..so you know they cant run against so most of the game they will air it out..i know those guys should be available because all 4 are available in 4 of my leagues.

Good God.

How can anyone with a severe speech impediment like Shannon Sharpe get a job as an analyst on TV? I can't stand listening to the man speak.
As the Rock would say, "Who is this roody poo?"
He's a candy-ass, but he's not as bad as that jabroni Chris Simms. They both need to drink a tall glass of monkey piss, go down jabroni drive and check-in to the Smackdown hotel :D

Actually Bruce needs to check-in to the Checkdown hotel, because he keeps trying to force every single throw down field.
eagles...wtf...lets go!!!
The Saints are fa'real! I guess all they needed was a good QB, Aaron Brooks is a turnover machine.

The Bucs finally took Cadillac out of the garage, I fucking love this guy!

Geathers #91 on the Bengals is a dirty player and needs to be banned from the league (he's the guy who pummeled Trent Green), but I'll take all the penalty yards he's giving the Bucs :)

That seems to be the case.
What...in the HELL is going on with the Redskins?:bomb:
On paper they're one of the best teams in the league, but for some reason they just aren't executing...I have no clue why. I still think they'll rebound like last year and (possibly) make the playoffs.

Who woulda thunk that the Rams would be this good?!

The Skins are the definition of an enigma.

Getting away from Mike Martz's pass happy ways was the best thing that could have happened to the Rams.

Damn you Hasselback and your new favorite target in Branch. While you are getting me points with your TDs, you're not doubling me up on those points. I guess 1 TD to D Jack is better than nothing.

And it would figure, the day my top player plays the Bucs (Rudi) he's having a terrible day. Atleast the Bucs D should up, for now.

Well, I gotta say that Bruce played well. Rich Gannon said during the game that he reminds him of Jeff Garcia, and I'm inclined to agree with him. That was Buc ball at its finest!

I was about to riot when they called that TD catch incomplete

I was about to riot when they called "Unnecessary Roughness" against Justin Smith when he tackled Gradkowski on that drive. Oh wait... I did.

How in the hell is that a penalty? The refs (and the Bengals) were absolutely horrendous in this game. The ref's description of that play sounded like Justin Smith picked him up and did a Zangief spinning piledriver on him.

The Bengals are not looking good at all at this point. The past three games the offense has been terrible. The play-calling is awful and they aren't the offense they were last year. Something needs to change and quickly, or these are going to be the mid-90's Bengals all over again.

What kind of a call was that on the unecessary roughness when Johnson grab Troy "The Thing" P? He had snapped his neck back or something, then I could see the penalty. Oh well, there goes the neighborhood.

The penalty was for taunting, not for the tackle.
The penalty was for taunting, not for the tackle.
I must have missed the taunt. Or was it something really quick and small?

I think it was mainly verbal stuff with the other Steelers player that was there.
