Just got my Arc the Lad Collection and it is NEARLY complete. I have the case, but am lacking the huge manual. I guess I can't complain though. All disks are in excellent shape too!
This is in-stock almost all the time (I actually think it is in stock all the time) so it really isn't worth a posting.
a version of chrono trigger is always worth posting.. i've noticed this thread isn't just about those "rare" games that come up every so often its also about games that the members of this site love and when they see them on eb they want to tell the world how great they are..

thanks for the post but all those Square PS1 titles are all readily available (and on GH) so they can be had new pretty much everywhere. when dealing around with this thread its much better to lurk around for a while or tell a story about a cheap ass game on EB that may not be rare, but it might not have been played too much.. I was going to talk about a game called "ninja: shadows of darkness" and the commercial that was like "you are the ninja.." but the game is now out of stock (it was roughly 2 bucks if i remember right).. but yeah.. in othre news i'm debating on returning my THPS 2 that just arrived.. it skips a little bit (just on the music not the gameplay) but i don't know if its worth my effort for the 1.12 i paid for it.. thoughts?

I hope I wasn't sounding rude in my post, but I was just trying to tell that poster that it wasn't really necessary. And I must agree with you that any version of Chrono Trigger is worth posting, but as I have mentioned, this game is almost always available and not only at EB. Anyhow, I agree, sometimes it's worth first lurking around this thread to see what is hot and then to come into it. Even though I've been a member for over a year now, before I started really following this thread I was lurking and watching it for a few weeks before I started to really post in it.

It was on backorder yesterday, so I thought it might have been hard to find.. since Gamestop wanted $37 for a used copy.

I don't think your reply was rude, as I wasn't sure if it was uncommon or not, but since I had sene back-order on gamestop and EB and Gamestop wanting a high price, I thought it was at least a small find.

Lucky you. I got my Arc the Lad collection on Friday and it was disc-only. :p Not only that, but they used a 4-CD case for the five discs so one was just loose and fluttering around. Back to EBGames with ye!

I wonder how hard it would be to track down one with the manual. My next goal: Lunar 2...good luck...

I was able to get my hands on a complete and minty Arc The Lad at a local EBgames a few months back. You never know what you will find in their retail stores.

At another local store I scored Lunar 2 discs and case only for cheap. I wish I had all the goodies, but this will do for now.

how much u pay

friday the update was at 708am... i hate late updates cause you could been here since 7 walk out of room to do something boom update and by the time you get back everyone grabbed all the good stuff

Actraiser shows up pretty frequently for these updates so you should have some pretty good chances of getting it.

I was just posting that for people who seem to look for it and it depends on the game. I threw that in as an edit because people seem to be interested in it or so I thought.
edit: Hmmm the game seems to be backordered at GS.
I haven't seen it since I bought it at least 5 months ago. If it were to ever show up in stock it would be $27.74 AC.
Regarding Rez...I've actually seen it at a number of B&M locations, for some odd reason. Guess the store crowds don't know what they're looking at. You might have luck sooner by looking in person.

(I never looked at the price b/c I bought one on ebay for $40 two years ago, and didn't want to be depressed if the price was better.)

does anyone check out the gamecube games? I just realized that I don't ever seem to see any GC games posted...maybe it's just my imagination.

on a side note, I'll miss my roommates GC when I move out. But I guess I'll survive til Revolution.
Maybe the update will occur at 12:00 ET like that other day and I can join in the feeding frenzy
