I never really got the Humble Bundles. Personally it seems like a lot of crap games that people only pay money for because they think it is quaint that you could get it for free if they wanted to.
Have you played many of the games in there?
I can personally vouch that Trine is

ing awesome.
Braid was worth a playthrough, even if I disliked it and think Jonathan Blow is a douche.
VVVVVV is excellent and challenging. Like super meatboy meets metroidvania (sorta).
Cogs is a very cool puzzle game, so is Machinarium.
And the rest are at least possibly worthwhile. And the best part of all of it? Look at the humble bundle 3. If you weren't a total cheap ass who paid less than $6, you got something like 11 games including Braid, VVVVVV, Cogs, Machinarium, etc, 90% of them can be activated on steam too.
It's a great way to raise awareness and gain sales for both charity and indie developers who make good games. And again, a large majority of them are good... and better than a lot of the schlock that makes it to the market these days.

DT, a lot of the games are at least worth a shot. I haven't gotten to a lot of them, but I was stoked when they added steel storm to the bundle, it looks like a fun top-down shmup.
