Finally went over $50 after buying HSG DLC and de Blob 2.
how is Vita's Virtua Tennis?
Its great. One of my most played Vita games. Looks great too, full resolution, 60 frames per second.

Finally hit 150$ spent. Ended up getting Dead or Alive 5+ since I needed some more games for a 2 week long trip. My poor memory card is now cram packed

To those who have these, don't forget the Journey CE avatar codes expire today and there are a number of 1 month PS+ codes that expire today or tomorrow. The one from Journey CE & GOW Saga, if you got a first run of Saga that included it.

Hmmm... I'm going to go check some of my codes. Mortal Kombat, to be exact.

Big thanks! I have GoW Saga in my backlog. Not only was the PS+ 1 month about to expire, but the code for the Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta was too. I would have been so pissed if I had missed out on those.

Also GT 5 XL voucher expires on 3/31 if anybody here picked it up.

ah, great news to hear about Virtua Tennis... but unfortunately i just checked my wallet, and that, combined with some other things going on in life, means i'm going to have to pass for the time being. oh well, i look forward to picking it up someday.

Seriously considering picking up Sonic & All-Stars Racing and/or EDF. I want both, and I'd get another $10, but at the same time... My Vita memory card is already pretty full. I swear, it's almost like Sony gets these deals going to try to drive Vita memory card sales. Dunno whats to do :whistle2:k

Seriously, it's painful having an extremely digital-centric system gimped by expensive, limited memory... FWPs.

Glad I saw this post. Didn't realize this game was already $15. I've been waiting for it to drop to $20 or less and now couldn't have been a better time with the $10 for $50. Will be getting $50 back next month, lol.

My new 16GB memory card is now full of awesome games. Man, I love my Vita. Best handheld ever. Can't wait to get me some Killzone!

I am surprised the GoW downloads are expiring so fast. They advertise that as part of the package, not as a bonus. I would be pissed if I bought it new next month to find out 40% of my product was invalid.

It's bad enough they are download vouchers in the first place for these two games. It might be one thing if the package had been for sale for a few years, but this came out what, 6-9 months ago?
Does it really end Sunday night or will it be when the store updates on the 2nd? I checked the promo again, and it says your purchases through April 1st.
Yes. It ends Monday, not Sunday.
Thanks for the correction. The confusing part is the reply below with a typo that suggests it could either end March 31 or April 1 depending on how it's read, so I guess people have an extra day.

http://blog.us.playstation.com/2013...every-50-spent/comment-page-1/#comment-821418

It will not end with the update on Tuesday, as they've specifically said it ends at 11:59 PM PST on the day in question.

I wouldn't be surprised if they were still available after the download. I think they have to put the expiration date for legal reasons for when they do inevitably take it down, but I've entered codes that have expired before and still received the content.

I only check my cabinet/media center thing! I keep forgetting I have one of those PS3 towers full of games and that is 1 of them!

Thanks!

I recommend getting EDF first since it is digital only. I'm waiting for it to hit $20 though.
hmm, not sure how I feel about this. Just seems like more ads:roll:
What ads are you seeing? All I see that could be called ads are links to community events and maybe the spot about PSN cards.

yeah, I guess your right. Just feels like they're pushing a lot more info in your face than before, which can be good and bad I suppose. I don't really use it much though so either way it's not really a big deal to me

Sonic Racing Vita is sooooo much fun!!!!!!!! I got it from GS a couple of weeks after it came out. Wanted it Day 1 but forgot.

But.........to me, some of those challenges are harder than a :bomb:.....even on Easy.

No problem, it's better to redeem them now then risk it not being available. I've had expired vouchers work before but I hate risking that.
I don't recall any blog posts and remember hearing specifically that the second $10 had no mention at all that it was for "loyal", so maybe I'm mistaken because I haven't paid much attention to it.

I didn't credit either time, but I'm not personally offended or upset enough to make dramatic posts complaining about it. I moved on pretty quickly because it wasn't a big deal to me.
http://m.joystiq.com/2013/03/14/sony-rolls-out-another-batch-of-free-psn-credit-in-north-america/

The wording of the messages pissed me off as like I said not getting it once was fine but twice was an issue to me.

But I guess I'm alone in my opinion, just like I was about SF 25th Anniversary being a better CE than Borderlands 2 Loot Edition & the ending to AC 3 being worse than ME 3 and the Internet just ignoring it b/c AC isn't an EA game.

I'm content with that, just want to rant and debate with others and haven't podcasted in awhile.

Well I spent way too much on this month - mostly the Vita/PSP sales. I don't normally get all spendy during promos like this but man it really is nice having a bunch of this stuff digitally on the Vita. I couldn't possibly go back.

6 x Vita retail games, 4 x Vita PSN games, 2 x PSP games and 2 x PS3 retail games. Yeesh.
Sounds like you're shopping GameStop over others, no worries, they'll never give free money to folks.
I've gotten 10 times the amount of free money from GS rewards than I have from BB in the last 2 years.

Those are Joystiq articles, not blog posts on the PS Blog, so my point stands about not seeing any official blog posts promoting it. The second link is also what I posted as proof that they didn't say the second wave was for "loyal" customers or anything like that.
So nobody else had a missing transaction? I wont get help from sony over the weekend and promo over on mon.
no, it sounds like either:
a) an extremely rare glitch
or
b) you're accidentally misaligning purchases to charges

since we don't have access to your account, purchase history, or bank account, there simply isn't much anyone can add.

if you want a good excercise, post your transaction history from, say, 2/15 on, then post your psn bank charges from the same dates. then we can eye it over with you and would be able to contribute something.

Wow, I always thought I spent too much on PSN until I read some of your guys posts. After I buy Rocketbirds Vita and EscapeVektor, I'll barely be breaking $50. I guess I don't feel so bad anymore.

Thanks for reminding me. So I finally broke open my Gran Turismo 5 XL that I bought on BF at Walmart, entered the code, and PSN told me it was no longer valid even though it says it's good through March 31, 2013.

What can I do about this? It's unfair that Sony expired my never used code a day early, and I can't call them until Monday when the code will have really expired and I'll have no proof that I tried to enter it before the deadline. I don't suppose Sony has a 24/7 help line? I've actually never called them before.

Is there a complete list of other codes that are expiring? The majority of my games have never been opened, and I don't have time to open them all (nor do I want to as some have more resale value sealed). I've never once had an invalid or expired Xbox Live code (since Microsoft doesn't enforce DLC expirations that I know of), but I guess Sony isn't as nice as Microsoft in this regard as Sony apparently not only expires codes but expires them early.

EDF would have been insta-buy at $20 :(
and SEGA should have had PS+ discounts
VT4, Sonic Racing Transformed.. - till we meet again

If anyone wants to play Guardian of Light Co-Op, feel free to add me as well (picked it up from the japanese promo). Fair warning though, the only sort of mic I have is a rockband microphone:cry: also might be a bit until I get to it. So yeah, add me as a last resort;)

Thanks for the heads up on this. Redeemed my code without issue. Sorry to hear you're having issues:cry:
Thanks for the heads up on this. Redeemed my code without issue. Sorry to hear you're having issues:cry:
I tried both the console and the web interface several times. I have no idea why I was so unlucky. On the positive side, Sony is open 7 days a week with pretty good hours, so I contacted them. On the negative side, now I have to find my old receipt and mail it and the voucher code in hopes of getting my content. If it were something trivial I wouldn't care but the DLC for Gran Turismo 5 XL is pretty significant.

So, this experience got me wondering what other unopened games I have that have expiring (or expired) DLC. I searched Google and couldn't find a list, so I started going title by title putting " PS3 DLC voucher code expir*" and for most of them there were no results, but I don't think that's a reliable way.

Is there any way I can find out which PS3 games have DLC voucher codes inside without opening them all? If I posted a list of all my unopened games, could people help me identify those games or would that be considered bad in this thread?
