Well, this sure came out of nowhere. Wasn't expecting a US release for this at all. Tentative date is March 3rd and price is listed as $29.99, but of course, it's subject to change.

i still think this game will never come out....I had it pre-ordered at gamestop...only to be told they had to cancel my pre-order as the game release was in limbo....WTF!!!!!!!
 
At $20 I will bite. Buddy and I probably spent more than $20 in quarters on Raiden back when there were actually arcades. Now to see if the game ever gets released...
 
for $20 u have to be a FOOL to totally miss this one.. I was in for $30 but I figured i'd use a GS Gift card to scoop it up.. but $30 is FTW... I decided to break down and get transformers on hd-dvd $5 and a awesome gas-cap-something for 23cents to push me over the $25 limit for free shipping :D

Great price change, I just hope the increase in pre-orders because of this change will encourage the game to actually release and not keep getting delayed.

Just checked my Amazon account this morning and it has indeed been adjusted to $19.99. No need to cancel and re-order. Nice.
 
I was going to get this at $30, but I was waiting to see if I could preorder it at Gamestop so I could pick it up instead of waiting for shipping. For $20 I'll definitely get it at Amazon! Thanks for the update, I would have completely missed this!

Anyone know if this is a universal msrp drop or just an Amazon promo? I'd much rather buy it at GS using credit than at Amazon with real money.

Good question, is that GS credit from flipping or is it credit that you have lost money on already? $30 GS credit for me usually only actually cost me $15 cash so it would be better for me at GS.

I pre-ordered it as well and pre-ordered the X-Men Seasons 1 and 2 with it since they all come out around the same time. Raiden and X-Men Season 2 are scheduled to ship on the 11th... what about you guys?

Eh, I thought I read somewhere that they're a small company (~10 people?) and somewhat notorious for delays. I just got that email too. It's disappointing, but what can you do?

I remember a time when it was february then march, then on my bday and now 5/19. Now I have the Japanese version of this game and I wanted to compare it to the JP version as $20 isnt a big deal at least for me. I also want this game for a friend of mine who is going overseas. There isnt much to translate but meh.. Its $20. i guess them lowering it from $30 to $20 was a nice 'gift' since they knew it was going to be delayed.

Yayece: No i have ZERO knowledge on this company.

No, it just took Amazon a few weeks to catch up with the new release date which has been on other web retailers since mid-April. Amazon sent out e-mails this morning to those who preordered to approve the delay.

GS's site says that it's in stock and usually ships in 24 hours, but my order from their website has Backordered as the status.
 
the release date on amazon keeps jumping all over the place.. meh.. i dunno anymore.. at least i got enough other filler games to hold me over till this little gem gets release.d
 
Amazon and just about every other on-line retailer is still showing 05/19 as the release date. Gamestop may have received it early and decided to start shipping or it could be a mistake. In any event, it's only like 10 days away, so I can wait for Amazon.

If you don't mean Operation Hell Dive, you may wanna research what you buy before you buy it. This is a collection of the Raiden Fighers series only.
