I believe it was Mr. Rolento who wanted me to tell you guys when I got my new blog published. Don't laugh, you were my age once. :p

I R reading now. thanks for the notification.

Just finished Kane & Lynch with both endings, which were equally lame.

*Sigh* I wish the aiming was better and there weren't 9939 bullets on screen every five seconds.

How bad is that Leisure Suit Larry game for xbox? I remember the reviews sucking but it still seems like it would be fun to play an interactive National Lampoon movie.

You just saved me 13 dollars then.

Uncharted is a good game when I'm not shooting. I love the adventure and platforming aspects.

Any games that are like Uncharted but without all the combat?

I wanna play Indigo Prophecy some more but the idea of failing that fucking simon sez thing again is agonizing.

I played Elite Beat Agents today and wow...what were they thinking when they chose some of that music?

Awesome game otherwise though.

Well it still has combat but... Tomb Raider Anniversary? Or Tomb Raider Legend...

both are really good games.

I have now obtained all trophies for Super Stardust...

not all of them tho... jus all the ones I can get without buying the add-on.

I'll wait until a rainy day to get that...

I remember playing the demo for Legend and liking it a lot, I'll check it out tomorrow when I go to blockbuster, if it's under 15 bucks I'll just buy it!

I'm not a non violent person or anything, but the platforming a exploration parts of Uncharted are just so relaxing and fun.... a nice change of pace from my usual gaming.

Speaking of BB, and good games out to rent? I'm torn between either Grid, Lego Indy, or DBZ.

I'm jealous Jekki. I didn't have SSHD when 2.4 rolled out so I didn't get the trophy update for it. Damn fun game, though.

Both Tomb Raider games have some trial and error stuff, so it may get a little frustrating. Those games really needed a Prince of Persia type thing where you could reverse time when you died.

I had completely forgotten about POP until you said that. I still wish I'd have finished TSOT when I had it.

I'm replaying the Burst Limit demo for the over 9000th time. Can't wait for a price drop on it so I can finally get it!

Get Sands of Time again then...it's probably cheap now and it's an awesome game. Better than the Tomb Raider games IMO.

The trouble will be finding it. I know my local Hastings doesn't have any copies, and I don't think BB does. I may just have to order it.

Completely OT, but anyone else seen Hancock yet?

I saw it... it started off good, but at one obvious turn, the movie turns out for the crapper.

My thoughts exactly.
I'm not buying any more games until the end of this month!!!!

I'm not buying anymore until I get a job!
will dark ever be un-silenced? or what? such a weird status...
I certainly hope so. And yes, I believe so.

Finally got the Strike a Pose achievement in PGR4 last night. That game is way clunky sometimes.

Not really.

You have to have two players on bikes, facing each other on the same track (so one is going the wrong way) and you just have to endo towards each other. We did it over and over and over and it wouldn't give the dang achievement. Finally, I got ticked off and rammed into Jaeli, kinda stuttered around (still in Endo posture), we both stopped within a few meters of each other and the achievement finally unlocked.:lol:

Saw Hancock yesterday afternoon. It was actually kinda fun. Weird twists and turns and such. Go into it with low expectations and you'll have a good time I think.

Alright, I'm going to pick up at least the second ZoE while I'm out and about today. Stupid curiosity making me spend money.

Got my speaker stands yesterday. My mounting method isn't really what the designers had in mind, but it'll work well. Silly speakers with bottom mounts + my unwillingess to do anything like drive screws into them or use some sort of adhesive on them ment we had to get creative a bit. :)

Now to just finish packing, move, and get to a place where we can set them up.

Recently I was thinking how good I am for controlling my backlog, and not buying junk I don't need. Then this week I bought:

Jade Empire PC
Ass's Creed
Carnivale Season 2

and getting ready to buy DQ Swords. I think I might have a problem.
Inu said to add "Inufaye" on Live if you want to play Burnout Paradise with him.
Sweet, I will do that.

What's the deal with Burnout DLC? Does it add alot to the game? More cars, more map area? what's the price as well?

I downloaded this immediately. When else can you get a $5 square enix game, that's a strategy game, made by the FFT team?
Heard about that last night, and was immediately disappointed that it isn't compatible with the iPod I have

Also, if benjamouth's reading, in a previous GGT, you asked me about how well Mysterious Cities of Gold holds up, right? Watched the first three episodes last night and though the dub isn't very good (and reminded me why I almost always watch anime subbed these days) and its age is showing (lots of synth music!), the story is as good as I recall, and it still holds up as a great kids show in general.

Thanks for that Blue, interesting info.

Hey GGT,

I see in the Deals forum that you can get an 8gb memory stick for PSP for $60, I'm tempted to get one, is there a lot of stuff available at the PSN store for downloading to PSP these days ?

Can anyone think of any other compelling reasons I might need 8gb storage on a PSP?

I'm wavering here.:whistle2:k

Porn? thats about the only thing I can think of really...
Porn? thats about the only thing I can think of really...
Well I like Porn as much as the next man, 8gb might be a bit excessive though, will the PSP play AVI files easily or do I have to jump through a bunch of hoops to get it to do that ?

EDIT - I downloaded that PSP video 9 thing, I'll give it a try.

No problem. Also, forgot to mention that the animation is still very good for the most part. As for the voice acting, the main thing that got me was that they do the thing where they cram in as much dialogue as possible to match the lip movements; plus, some characters (like Mendoza) are generally better performed than others.

So GameFAQs is fucking retarded.

I know, GameFAQs is lame, but I post there on their TV board. So I made a post in the American Gladiators thread, snickering at someone saying something like "I'm going to come from behind and suprise him", and adding "I'm twelve", as a joke. So then someone reported me for being an underage user and now my account is suspended.

>_>
Co-op makes this game infinitely better.

Online co-op= awesome
Local co-op= could have been 2x awesome
Yeah, I was super disappointed that it didn't have local co-op. I have no interest in playing co-op games online with random people. Too bad I didn't have a 360 back when this first came out and the cag regulars were playing it!
You poor thing.
Darn, she doesn't like overrated anime.

That sucks.
Darn, she doesn't like overrated anime.
haHA!

Rei, what can I say? I know the entire anime world seems to love it, but I don't. I found the characters self-absorbed, whiney little emos. And I cant stand personalities like that, fictional or not. *shrugs*

Gonna go try to knock out a few more PGR4 cheesemints now.
I'm not an evangelian fan, but those are cute figures. And that Sonic game reminds me I want a Mario Golf or Tennis game for the DS.
Sega makes the best Eva figures: they're relatively inexpensive and look good. Just wish they'd make figures of characters that aren't Rei and Asuka every now and again!

Also speaking of Sega, I love the company, so that game was a no-brainer for me.
Darn, she doesn't like overrated anime.

Just because it's overrated doesn't mean it's not good ;)
Just because it's overrated doesn't mean it's not good ;)
I found it average at best.

=)

Eva was cool when I first watched it back in the day... Can't say I ever rewatched it tho >_< but I dig the characters lol.
