You know, I live on the OSU campus and never tried them. I've heard about a million people say how good they are, so I guess I need to try them soon.
My mom was good friends with the old Italian guy that started it.
He worked at the one on North Main street in Dayton. He was a really nice guy. I went in there last month and asked his sons what happened to him. They said he retired after 50 years. 50 years wow.
He's a great man he would sing in Italian when people were in the store. My mom always gave him big tips. So he would give me a free root beer. "you look thirsty" He would say. Man I miss that guy and he's not even dead.
Do yourself a favor and eat there for your next meal. Don't ruin their pizza by adding a crap load of toppings. Get plain cheese, then you will see what real pizza is about. Pizza isn't about a mountain of toppings. Pizza is supposed to be a beautiful balance between the crust, sauce, and cheese. At least that what the old Italian guy told me. Damn it he was right. once you have perfect pizza your out look will change on what is pizza.
