Just came back from Target 30 minutes ago and picked up the 2nd last Fury and 2nd last JLU steelbooks.  The Fury SB was up front at one of the registers, the JLU one was back in the main movie section.

This was the Bridgeton store, MSUHitman.

Guess I'll return the ones on the way from Target.com in-store and consider myself covered.

Did the JL steelbook really not come with a UV code

Everyone over at the bluray.com forums is reporting that so far. It's suggested you email Vudu telling them you didn't receive one. So far Vudu is asking for pics and receipts which is understandable but also dumb on their part considering how many people are reporting it to them

I tried that with Vudu and even sent all my purchase info.  They told me this:

Hello and thank you for contacting VUDU customer care.

We apologize that you did not receive a code with your product. I would suggest reaching out to either Target, or Warner Bros. (likely the best choice) in order to explain the situation with them and see if they can issue a digital code for your product. Unfortunately we do not issue these codes- we simply host the service that they are redeemed on so we cannot issue you a digital code to you on our end.

The best form of contact we have for Warner Bros. would be to create a ticket at the following page:

be thankful you didn't get spider wrapped like mine did :(

yet Fury SB was security case locked? :wall:   Guess Brad Pitt is more important than Aqua-man :(

I contacted Flixter and had my issue resolved that way, they inserted the movie into my library.

What are you saying to get the code or movie without any problems getting it

No luck on the JL steelbook. Oh well, first DC one I've missed. I'd buy it off eBay, but then I won't have a receipt for the digital copy.

I just wanted the digital copy, since it's got the UV logo on the back of the case. If they just put the film in my Flixster account, I'm fine with that. I always open the steelbook, and sit on the figure bundle from Best Buy, when it comes to these DC flicks.

I've been reading this a lot, my target had them all in the back, they share the same DPCI in store.
I was kinda afraid of that. Because the DPCI-1 is like Box Trolls or something, and the DPCI+1 was like Book of Life.

I'll check later in the week. If not, oh well.

So is it only the steelbook ver that doesn't come with a UV code and why wasn't it not in the steelbook when it shows it does come it

Flixter wont give you a code if your interested in selling it, they will only insert it into your account.
Just wanna say thanks I would of never thought about contacting them about this issue, once I send flixster a pic, got the movie into my account in mins

Took a pic of the steelbook and receipt too. I just sent them an email with the issue. They just put the movie in my Flixster account. Got resolved rather quickly.

Since store stock when I went yesterday afternoon was on the light side, if you can go out today, I think you would have a better shot at finding one.

EDIT: Emailed Flixster about the the lack of UV copy and if they could insert it into my account, with receipt and steelbook back included. We'll see what they do.

I'll probably try. The store I usually go to had like 10 Fury steelbooks left yesterday. If they're still there, anyone need me to pick one up?

If you can't find one  and my store still have the 2 left  I can  pick one up for you

I'm good, though I received my two steelbook orders from Target.com today. :bomb:

They thankfully changed from plastic mailers to the vacuum-packed cardboard mailers, though both titles had floater discs as they rattled when pulling them out of their packaging. :bomb:

So glad I was able to find one of each at a local Target and not have to rely on these ones. Back they go to Target.

What did you put down when it ask for the Redemption Code
lol man your really having a tough time with this.......................that's why I did live chat, typed none for redemption code.....I explained that the steelbook from target didnt come with a code ....she asked for proof, i send a pic of the reciept with the card (cover up the numbers but the last 4) and that was it , waited 5 mins and done

I just typed "none" as well. Gave them the information associated with my Flixster account, and was done.

Almost waiting for a, "Do it for me?", or a, " Can you send me the pic so I can get a free copy too?" in my private messages. Not that anyone here would do such a thing.
Of course they would. Just depends on the who.

Flixster replied back to me and they said it's now in there. Just checked and it is.

For those that asked about the pictures, I uploaded two separate pictures, one of the back showing the UPC and the other one of the receipt. Seemed to do the trick. For the UV code, I put in (missing).

Yeah, I'm with you guys. Not trying to be mean but when the initial info about contacting Flixster was brought up, that really should've been it, didn't really require as many follow up questions as it did. Instead of waiting for responses in this thread one could simply contact Flixster themselves to find out or search out other avenues (was a discussion on the blu-ray.com forums) Beyond all that, sometimes it still boggles my mind how some people function in life without a step by step out line of what to do, when, how, where, etc.

Again, not trying to single anyone out or be rude, just something I've noticed online over the years.

I'm sure you could single one person out from past posts in this thread, though that would be a little direct.

I think we're all good here and it's as clear as crystal on what to do to take care of the missing UV code.

I really hope it's the last time they  don't put a UV Code in  there steelbook ver

I'd give him a break. In all his years as a mod, I'm sure he had to deal with said person millions of times.

Same with the "gliding enclosure".

It only took about 15 minutes doing the Flixster method and they even added the Justice League the Flashpoint Paradox to my account for the hell of it lol.  I never had a flixster account but it allows you to link it to ultraviolet or vudu when you create one. Thanks for the heads up!

I sent the email hope they send the movie And thanks for the info
