Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

My store literally has no 360 games on Clearance, despite having a solid stack of about 40 of them the other day. I guess they're keeping up with their "one week on clearance and then off the shelves!" ways that started several months ago, so long as the games aren't PC titles.

A shame, really, but what can you do? I would have loved to pick up Stranglehold for $15 but $25 (that coupon is wonderful)? Not quite. ¡Que sera, sera!

As for SOTC being a game that me being the first not to like: I can't say for sure, but if it hits 5.00 or less I might consider picking it up. Call me Wary after maybe getting $1-$3 on some of my xbox games I just sold on eBay, I'm sure SOTC would hold a $5 value down the road but $10 after eBay fees... eh.

I've been to about 5 Targets in the metro Atlanta area and I haven't found Stranglehold for $15. Some stores had it for $30 and others didn't have the game at all. Has anyone found the game for $15 in ATL and which Target if you did.

Greenwood, IN Target didn't have any of the games at clearance price. Shadow of the Colossus and Project Gotham Racing 3 rang up at $13.98. Def Jam ICON (PS3) and GRAW 2 (360) rang up at $29.99. I didn't find anything else that was on the list. It's a good thing I needed groceries or I'd be very pissed right now.

nope, came back today (3/31), and all that was left was ET:QW at 9.98 and one copy of crackdown. already had crackdown but i got the ET:QW. dissapointed about the SupCom and stranglehold though.

Rochester, MN SuperTarget North though had all of those. should have got them when i was home for the weekend.

Went to two targets on my way home.

Stranglehold at one finally dropped from $42 to $30. Naruto still at $30. PGR4 still at $30.

The other target had stranglehold for $15. Picked it up and will return with my $30 receipt. PGR4 was at $42. Simpsons at $35. PGR3 dropped to $10, might pick it up at $5. Two worlds still at $42. This is the only target that I have found RS:Vegas and it is still at $28.

Because once the Halo 3 beta ended, many found no reason to pick up the game, which had the beta code packed inside I believe. Now, me on the other hand, I can't STAND Halo and love the hell out of sandbox games, but my local stores have ZERO of them in stock. So, either I pay full price or hope someone on here will offer me a copy of Crackdown for cost+shipping at the $14.98 price.

F1 was still 29.98. This was the one of Sidney Marcus in Atlanta. One store had no drops (buckhead by lenox mall) and the other I think was just starting to change prices so maybe they dropped there, too.

Found 1 Stranglehold for $15, was taking it up to the register when I noticed that it didn't feel quite right--someone had taken the plastic wrap off of it a while ago (the 2 stacked markdown stickers were stuck on the case itself. Game was clean, manual and Midway "registration" card intact, so I bought it anyway. I don't really want the thing--was looking for Simpsons--but I can't leave it sitting there for that price.

Sometimes Targets will have the clearance items on endcaps near the regular sections...game endcaps in/near games, electronics, DVDs, etc. It seems like they hold the games in their glass cases for the first drop or two ($40-$25), then they tend to put them out on the endcaps. The best deals are when they are in the cases without clearance stickers--meaning that someone missed them. Better for us CAGs, if you ask me.

PGR 3 actually stayed at 4.98 and SOTC was *still* 9.98 at the Meriden, CT Target. They had plenty of copies except PGR3 which seemed to be cut in half compared to a few days ago.

PGR4 dropped to $29.98 I believe, but that's $10 above the Radio Shack sale they had a few weeks ago and $15 above my price range. Guess I'll check back next Tuesday.

Greenville SC had one Shadow of the Colossus for 9.98 and a couple of Syphon Filter DMs at 19.98. They had a few Simpsons 360 still marked at 49.99 in the glass case.

Check other targets in your area. I have had this happen to me, and I asked an employee and he said they were just 'moved" to a bigger target about 10 miles away. Went there, and sure enough they had had 'em. I am not sure if they still do this, since this was well over 2 years ago.

That happens to me all the time. People are returning them to a different big box store and get $60 credit each for PS3 games. That is why I can never find clearance games under $30.

What do you mean ? you cant return the game without a receipt. The only place you can return without a receipt is Walmart and they limit you to 3 a year. Correct me if I am wrong.
