Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

My local target still has several copies of The Orange Box and Lair but they're still $29.98. I'll bite for sure on both when they hit $15.
I sure hope it happen soon. Guess I'll check back next Tuesday.

The store also had 5+ copies of Genji that were marked down today to $7.48.
I didn't pick any up though.

Still had copies of Medal Of Honor Airborne at $41.xx, Motorstorm at $29.98 and Tony Hawk at $24.xx.

Also saw that Kane and Lynch and The Club were marked down. I believe they were under $30.

They're usually done on Mondays, but you might find a lazy manager or whomever not update the prices until later on in the day. Prices should be changed by Tuesdays for sure.

Most of the Halo's have been Falcon boards, though I could swear I remember a few people stating they got a Zephyr inside. I know they've found both BenQ and Hitachi 79's inside H3's. It should still have the additional heatsink whether it's Zephyr or Falcon (though Falcon's still a better board). I got an Arcade a couple months ago that had the Falcon/BenQ.


The best way to tell is to check what the power rating is. If it's 203W, it *could* be either, but if it's 175W it's DEFINITELY a Zephyr.

I would suggest the Grandville location as I have had the best luck there. Alpine and 28th street are okay, but nothing great. However, the Wal-Mart on 28th St. is a goldmine and I scored a copy of Okami there for only $10 a few years back. :lol:

But the only clearance next gen game that they had was LAIR for $29.98. Thats it!! I was shocked. I was there yesterday and they had a bunch of stuff. Genji, NBA 07, NBA Homecourt, Tony Hawk, Medal of Honor, PGR4, NCAA 08, College Hoops and few others. Now they only have 1 copy of Lair and a few PS2 games. The whole endcap was replaced with some Ipod Nano sound docks and the Lair and PS2 games stacked on top of a few boxes. Hard to believe that someone bought over 10 copies of Genji for $15.

Checked Goodyear, AZ Target (Litchfield Rd) and the only thing probably worth mentioning was the Guitar Hero Les Paul guitar face plates for $3.50 (or so). One of my local Targets got jacked too....last week they had a ton of Orange Boxes, Lair, and Moto (all @$30), and now they have none. Everything left was l$59.99....boo!

My local KMart also didn't have crap, after having half a dozen TW PGA '07 and Madden '07 for $10ea. I bought 2 copies of each to flip and/or play last week.

I'm going to hit up the other two Targets on Thursday to see if they are barren too. I'd love to PM my $30 Orange Box to $15....as I'd use the money for something like Moto.

Yeah i would understand if they took 10 copies of Orange Box OR LAIR or something like that but GENJI!?!?! You cant even flip that. Much less I check the prices on all the games (I made a sheet of upc's of the games) were still at $29.98. They took all the Tony Hawks, Medal of Honor: Airbourne, etc. and paid $30 for each. Kane & Lynch(PS3) was down to $19.98 or so at my closest Target today. I doubt they'll last through another round of drops though since there's at least one former Target employee and a guy with a flea market stand who clean them out regularly. There were about 3-4 copies there. I tried stashing one to see if they would go down any further, but the one guy working electronics(who was one of the cool people working at the EB nearby where I always scored on guides)seemed like he was watching me, so I just put it up in the $20 and under game section but in clear view.
