Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Try looking around phoenix, I was able to score a few good games while I was visiting my girlfriend last month. I'll be back there again next week and I'll post my findings in the phoenix area. As far as I know, Goodyear is about 30-45 minutes away from there isn't it?

My local Target (Brandywine, DE) had very little clearanced stuff, I managed to get a blue rechargable pack for the 360 controller for $5.98. It was the last blue one but there were still about 8-9 pinks ones left.

They had a copy of Fifa 07 on 360 for about $17.XX and 2-3 PS3 games (Simpsons, Tony Hawks Proving Ground and a basketball game) but none were at particularly low prices.

It's a suburb of Phoenix.

I work in the East Valley though and often check around here too with the same results. Seems like most of the good games are usually gone before they even hit clearance. I did find like 10 copies of Arctic Tale for the Wii, but really...who wants that?

I Motorstorm with my 80gb bundle and after playing it for quite some time, I would have easily laid down $40 for it. Yea, it sucks that there is no splitscreen, but as a single player racer and online racer, Motorstorm is by far the best racing game I've ever played. For $15, it is a steal.

Motorstom 2 will be coming out with split-screen mode, Home integration, and 16 tracks...it's going to be a blast.

My guess is they may be shipping them to heavy volume stores cause I have found very few even though the same stores had some not too long ago. Just a guess though.

Well at least when I went I was able to score Viva Pinata for $7.48 and stranglehold for 14.98. I also was able to find naruto for $24.98 but didn't bother to pick it up.

Fairfax, VA only had FF REvenant Wings DS for $19.98, Simpsons PS3 $25, Project Gotham 4 $15, and Shadow of the Colossus for $5. I also ran into 6 of the DS Zelda Bundles at another Target, but they were $105 each so I passed. Was that a stupid decision as these seem to be highly sought after. I may go back tomorrow and pick up some for anyone who wants one if they are still there.

If you call in to the store they can price check at the service desk using DCPIs, but they have to call electronics if you have a UPC. I personally do not make a habit of calling for price checks, but DCPI is the 'safer' way to do it by phone.

You know, Target's seem to be pulling wierd crap from the back recently. Someone told me of a cache of Zelda DS Lite bundles out on clearance for $100. Today I saw a Game Boy Micro for $60-something I think.

I didn't find much in the new clearance section that I wanted (lots of PS3 stuff that wasn't cheap enough yet) but I did snag a Marvel Ultimate Alliance for the 360 for $7.48. I didn't even know that was on clearance or if I did it has been a long time since I saw one at $20.98 or something (kind of vaguely remember that). I was surprised to see it get so low. Since I've heard good things about it I figured it was worth that price (+ some groceries/cat items - $5 coupon of course).

Make sure if it's not Gold, to get the Heroes + Villains pack for it... playing as The Hulk and Magneto is so awesome. Venom too!!
