Thanks to Skube and Oxidative for this coupon. Important things to note-- this will make games ten dollars or under free, but it's advised to buy another item, such as a pack of gum.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Yup for there are two near me and the closest one had two left at $29.98 and the one farther away from me had one copy left on an end cap for $14.98 so I decided to pick it up. I am trying to decide if I should just wait to play it when I get a new PC or play this version since its so cheap.

I think this is extremely YMMV. More likely, it had an "as is" sticker on it. NMH for $4.98 would be 90% off on MSRP and I don't think Target ever goes down that low. The most i've seen is 75% before they salvage.

Yeah, I'll be going today at lunch (11:30 CST) and hope that they actually have stuff marked. Last time I went there wasn't anything. I've got a bunch of the $10 off Xbox 360 coupons printed again. Hopefully I can find some of these $15 or less games everyone else is finding. I'll take a free game regardless of what it is.

I did see a LOT of PS3 games that were red-tagged and discounted. I don't know what titles are hot otherwise I'd have picked up something to trade.

NCAA 08 was $9.98 and Tony Hawk hit $12.48.

Snagged the last copy of Lair which was finally marked down to $14.98.

Now to decide whether to keep iLair or trade to Blockbuster and put the value down on a pre-order of MGS4.

My backlog of games is growing due to these clearance titles.
Gotta love Target.

I seen several 90% clearances at target, now most are for seasonal, Halloween, Christmas but they do go down to 90% sometimes.

Yea, the store I went to had one on PC for $4.98, and like 5 for Xbox for $9.98.

But the one for PC, the security seal was ripped open like someone had tampered with it, and the box was literally destroyed... it looked like something you'd find used instead of new.

I just grabbed it on the Xbox. All of those copies were sealed, but have these big ass TARGET PROTECTION stickers on them??

Well, my lunch run to Target wasn't too good. No Xbox 360 games red-tagged but there were 1 or 2 that were marked down. I think Orange Box $39.99 but I forgot to write down the price. I only had 1 of the $5 off coupons so I picked up GRAW2 for $15 since I was wanting to get that anyway. They still had a lot of PS3 and PS2 games marked down and on clearance. At least they had their game case stocked this time. Usually it is near empty.

I'm gonna try another one on the way home and hope to pick up something super cheap.
