This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

It won't be expire until Targets network is up tomorrow. It is still good all day and night.
 
I didn't see anything much today. The only item I saw that I haven't seen before was Turning Point: Fall of Liberty for windows for $19.xx which doesn't seem like a deal at all.

Hopefully the local stores just didn't get their Monday price updates done. The stores seem slow around here lately in getting their clearance prices up.

Forgot to check if the price drops on burnout/skate/others were updated in their system, but they were definitely not reflected on the shelf tags.

Also the $10 off 360 game coupon is still scanning (but expiring today), but I cannot get the $5 off coupon to scan any longer.
 
Can anyone elaborate for me the Buy 2 360 games, get Mass Effect FREE deal?

I read about it somewhere and would like to get in on the deal if I can. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

But I will say I didn't see Mass Effect in any of 3 targets I have been in over the past 2 days... so are they doing a rain check on these or are we SOL?
 
Had a weird experience the first time out clearance hunting. Went to my local shit-fest target and of course, nothing. Went about ten miles into the city to the target greatland and they had the playstation eye camera and eye of judgement packs. Both full priced. Even had the sales clerk price check both. Is this some sort of fluke? He says that clearance isn't nationwide, just store to store. Basically I don't see myself ever getting these items for delicious prices.

used a coupon today on a very random Tony Hawk's Project 8. I don't need it and I use to own it a long ass time ago, but it was 48 cents after coupon so I couldn't pass.

Aren't you near the harmarville target? I picked up mass effect yesterday and stopped in today and they still had one at about 5pm in the case

Nothing for me at my Target.
They have about 12 copies of Heavenly Sword($29.99) and a lot of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl Guides for $3.74.

I was told by a manager at two stores that in fact my Target does their electronic clearances on THURSDAYS.... no wonder its only been scraps for the most part by me..hahah well now I know :D
 
I was in the Super Target in Liberty, MO and they had dozens of copies of Crash of the Titans for only 14.98. I am sure that it must be a stellar title in order to have over 2 dozen copies on clearance!

They has about 75 LoZ: TP's for $12.48,
about 7 GCs for $24.98,
Some pokemon ranger game, about 50 of em for $14.98
1 Parappa for $7.48 - I took it
FFXII guide for $4.98
15 Heavenly Sword's for $41.98

Anyone in central jersey can PM me if they want to know which store.

Also saw Manhunt 2 drop to $9.98 at the Princeton store
 
Last time I checked by the Target that had like 25+ copies of LoZ TP marked down to $12, they were GONE! Was disappointed so anyone who PMed me, that's why I didn't respond...sorry was busy with finishing clinicals at school!

awww, nuts, mine had LoZ:TP for GC today, at 12, but i didnt pick it up, didnt think it would make good trade fodder. Screw me :(

I still have 360:The Bigs, and 360: Pinata:party Animals, that i picked up... thats all ive found though, truly, its been a dry week :( ((hopin for that heavenly sword to drop at mine, no luck yet though))

I'll sure miss the coupon... although someone here mentioned (and I seem to remember this being true as my time as a Target cashier) that there's a leeway with Target coupons that are expired. I'm definitely keeping a few with me just in case I want to see if I can get lucky. Definitely worth asking about (and a Google search does turn up people asking cashiers if they can use their expired coupons, and being granted permission)

Just came back from Clark,NJ. The place still had Zelda:TP at 24.98, One copy of Timeshift for 27.XX, 2 or 3 copies of Tony Hawk PG for 27.XX, and Guitar Hero (game only). Kind of piss that Zelda hasn't dropped there and most of the games there seem to stay around 50% off for awhile.

Hmm, I didn't notice it at Harmarville when I stopped. I did end up seeing Mass Effect in Gibsonia. They were definitely sold out of ME at Cranberry Target. Either way I was only considering the B2 G Mass Effect free deal, and now that the $10 coupon has left us I'm just going to end up passing on it.

There was nothing new at any of those 3 stores yesterday. I'm starting to think that my theory about them not doing the markdowns at those stores on Mondays is correct. I'll probably swing by later this week and see if anything drops. I was hoping for a couple nice 360 drops so I could take advantage of the $10 coupon one last time... :cry:

yea. i've got a blockbuster near me. just wasn't sure if they buy used games. i'll have to give them a call then.
 
Targets seem to have different rates of price drops and clearing. One of the targets would clear items as they drop to 75% while another target has slower price drops but the items would last for atleast a week after it hits 75%.

Just curious does a store have to have an item in stock in order to price match for a lower price?

Bought a pink battery pack for $8, it's now dropped to about $3 at least according to the list not sure about my store personally.

I did search through the forum to see if this question could be answered elsewhere, couldn't find anything helpful.

The $5 coupon works with anything, but it depends on the cashier. You might find a hard-ass that tries to shut you down if you are not buying "toys", or you could find someone who just scans the coupon regardless of what you buy.

I did have some issues with the coupon scanning yesterday, but I printed off some clean copies and didn't have an issue. Maybe its a no-brainer, but dont make copies of the printout because the barcode quality can degrade and then it wont scan. But even when the coupon wouldn't scan the cashier/manager just manually entered the coupon with no hassles, but it is YMMV.

Yeah, it true. When I bought Timeshift, the woman scanned it and then I handed here the coupons. She scanned the toy one instantly, but then was puzzled by the 360 one. But finally scanned it and it worked.
