This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

In Ellicott City, MD, I found Dark Sectore for $25 on the 360, $50 20 GB Xbox hard drives, and a few other things that I can't recall. Apparently this store keeps everything on the shelves but sticks on the little red tag on clearance items.
 
Saw an odd one at the Bandera road San Antonio location. The PS3 version of the Madden 09 collectors edition marked down from 89.99 to 62.93.
 
I went to Target hoping to find Ninja Gaiden DS at the ripe price of $12.48. I went, and after some searching, I found one copy behind the case. But what is this...? No clearance tag? Alas, they must have forgot to mark it. Hoping for the best, I rushed to the scanner and typed in the DPCI.... $34.99, and not they don't have any more in the back. I was a sad panda.

Anyway, after the great disappointment, I looked around a bit and found some other stuff.

I got mine at Sears for $13.97 and I think I overpaid lol. I'm a big fan of the Karaoke Revolution games but I wasn't impressed by Singstar. I think you can use your own CD's though.

This afternoon at my Target I saw:

I had already done some damage at K-Mart today so after that I didn't bite on anything. After leaving I regretted not picking up Bully so I'll probably go back at noon tomorrow for that.
 
The Target by my house in Benton, AR has Viking - Battle of Asgard for the 360 for $27 on clearance.

Has anyone played this game? Is it worth $27?

not video game, but the Target in chantilly, VA had a few Transformers HD-DVD as is for 7.xx Guess they must have *found* them.

The game is totally worth a purchase. I have it myself, and it is great fun! A little short maybe, but tons of fun while it lasts. But it is not worth $27 at target, only because you can get it at gamestop for $20 new or $18 used, and for that price, it's an absolute steal.
 
I stopped buy Target yesterday and I saw God of War II (2-Disc Edition) and Naruto: Ultimate Ninja 2 for the PS2 were only $13.98. I also saw Madden 08 for the 360 for $21 and The Eye of Judgment W/ camera bundle for $35.

I would have picked up GoWII but I found Star Trek: Tactical Assault for the DS, which is really hard to find without ordering online, for $15 and it killed the money I had on hand. Didn't bother with Naruto: UN2 as there is a Naruto 3-game bundle coming out next month for $30.

I bought it on Amazon for 19.99 and it's still 19.99 right now except it's on a 2-week wait. I been playing it a few days now and it gets tedious after a while. The God of War button pushing is used for major bosses but it's done so much that it gets boring. Lots of running around, even though there's teleport towers it still seems like there is a lot running. I suggest renting it first, even 20 bones is too much now that I played it.

I picked up Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword for $17.48 and Final Fantasy CC: Ring of Fates for $19.98 from the Target at North Hills in Raleigh, NC. I got the last NG, but there was at least one more FF there.

I've waited a few months for both of these to drop to a somewhat reasonable price. The other stores I frequent still have them for the 30% price.
 
Saw a bunch of PS2 Singstars (Amped and 90's) for $24.98.

I have a 60G PS3. Will this game work on my system?

It works.. I just purchased the game bundle too and play it on my PS3-60GB. The mics are the same as in Singstar bundle.

It's actually God of War 1 that is on clearance for 9.9x. I checked the same Super Target in Moreno Valley and God of War 2 is still 19.99.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Ring of Fates is still 27.9x there as well.
 
I can also confirm FF: Crystal Chron at 27.9x, ironically enough, it was the only game outside of the glass mixed in on the endcap with clearence usb sticks.

I just picked up the game used for $11.69 at Gamestop b/c they are having their 25% off used game sale right now.(all xbox/xbox 360 games).

swore it was 2 though.... maybe it was a goof on my part. I was too happy to pick up the Blast Works. Wish that fucking Bully would drop before they run out. You hit up the other Mo Val Target?

Yeah, they still have Metroid Prime 3 at 34.9x.

I saw Bully for 14.9x at the Target on Arlington in Riverside.
 
The Riverside Targets are awesome. I dont work Sunday (work at the GC in Mo Val) so i'll probably do a complete Riverside Target Run. Wonder if any have Tomb Raider (Wii) left. I want that one as well.
 
I saw Madden 09 (some kind of SE version including Head Coach 09) for the PS3 for $44 yesterday. I don't have a PS3 but if these games were individually packaged in there, I definately would have bit. Anyone know about this?
