This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

It was a good buy no matter what. I love mine and highly recommend it, but even if you are more of a mind of the oh-so-witty commenters that followed your post you could easily resell it for a profit.

I also promptly picked up a $4.98 copy of Picross DS.

probably because wii fit is nothing in terms of working out

theres a lot more stuff you can do without going to a gym from your own house without even really buying anything extra that would help people start to get in shape and condition there bodies


wii fit is just really a game accessory (balance board) packed with rough basic wii sports repackaged as something else programmed for the balance board

nintendo has even publicly acknowledged this (or at least miyamoto)

But it doesn't matter since its still selling out in the US and still in the top of the sales charts for Japan. Does it give you a great work out no, but its better then not doing anything at all and sitting on your ass.

I bought wii fit because I was in a car actident and can basically use it as a physical therapy tool. If I used just about any gym equipment, I would injure my neck and/or my back. Wii fit is helping me build myself back up again. In other words, Wii Fit actually does something for someone who's almost physically handicapped.

Nothing in terms of working out? Obviously you've done nothing but sit in your computer chair and read what other misinformed people have said.

The exercises easily combine together for a solid workout. At the very least it gives you a good foundation of exercises and teaches proper form. Taking what you've learned from WiiFit can then be used in a home workout or enhanced with weight resistance at a gym / etc. In addition to this it can help you find a better sense of balance and posture.

no obviously i dont sit on my ass all day and night, unlike most here probably i actually work out and take part in physical activity regularly ( i play college hockey for one though its the off-season obviously), ive used wii fit at a girls house, its nothing at all


and if you think it takes place of actual physical therapy think again, that's exactly what my step-aunt does for a living (she's a physical therapist)



miyamoto himself has said the game is basically just a bunch of minigames relating to making yourself aware of your body, which makes sense since the game was derived from him just constantly weighing himself, not actual workouts and getting in shape

That wouldn't be 50%, it would be another 25 percent off. Game starts at $59.99, then goes 30% off to $41.98, then 50% off reg. price to $29.98, then 75% off reg. price to $14.98. After that it most likely goes to salvage, but sometimes you see a game marked 90% off.

Seems like your Target is a price drop behind on both SOFP and Timeshift. SOFP has been 29.98 at my stores for awhile and Timeshift was at 19.98 the last time I checked it.
