This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

Found two as-is Disney products:

No idea what the problem is, but I'm not complaining.
 
Saw the reported PS3 games at 50% off...waiting to see if any are around at 75% off...probably not since they're clearly marked.

Saw a lot of good toy clearances at 75% off...Tickle Me Ernie for $7.50, Hulk toys at 75%, all their Speed Racer toys, etc.

Also noticed a stack of Will-I-Am cds on clearance for around $3 each with "as-is" stickers on them. Not sure why the "as-is" sticker was on them as they were all brand new/sealed and they don't put that sticker on clearance stuff unless it's a return usually.

Probably a wrong delivery. My Target has 50+ Big Mama's House 2 DVDs for $3.XX As Is. There's nothing wrong with them (other than their unwillingess to sell).

My gf has a picture of me trying to get into one of those, coincidently at Target, it still haunts me to this day >_< If you do try to get into one...especially dont get in the one with a roof...
 
Made my weekly trip to JC, MO Target yesterday.

They have Dark Sector (PS3) for 19.98, Madden 08 (PS3) for 14.98 and Kane and Lynch (PS3) for 24.98 (can't remember K&L for sure). Almost pulled the trigger on Dark Sector, good enough for 20?
 
Found a bunch of CDs with AS-IS stickers on them. Picked up a few- H.I.M.- Venus Doom, Thursday, Drowning Pool, Coheed & Cambria, and Dashboard Confessional. They also had Mandy Moore, Melissa Ethridge and Will I. Am.
 
Ya know, i work for target and in no way speak for them but i just had to get off my chest that you guys seem to treat target team members pretty badly and think they are dumb. I am all for you guys getting the best deal possible on stuff, just like i like to do that but please treat team members like how you want to be treated. Also it is not DCPI, it is DPCI. Thirdly, just because something on a label has NCF, does not mean it is going clearance soon. 9 times out of 10 that item marked with NCF stays on the shelf for months and months at regular price. Lastly, just because an item has a price of $0.00 does not mean that you can get any price you want for an item, so please dont act like you can bargain for a price that suits you. I really got a kick out of Dark Sector. It's about 6 or 7 hours long, but keeps you going for the duration. My complaint has to do with the story - it feels like you walked into the sequel. They do little with character development and just throw characters at you with little to no background.

That said, it's worth $20. I bought it for $35 new off ebay shortly after it came out and traded it in after I beat it to Hastings for $36. ;)

saw the same haul... mine were all 27.98. supreme commander was 14.98 for me.

Dark Sector (PS3) is $27.98 at the Cherry Hill, NJ store.

This same store seems to be getting out of the GPS racket--every unit that I saw was on clearance at 30% off.
 
I picked up Supreme commander Gold 14.98 an awesome deal considering Forged alliance was still price at $19.99!!!
 
Anyone know of a store in Maryland or Virginia that has Rock Band PS3 for $15? I would really love to avoid spending the $10 more at gamestop for a used copy. It would help even more if it was at a store in or near Waldorf, MD or Alexandria, VA.

Good find. I have one as well. I don't think they make it anymore, though, because I saw the most recent shipment of figures and it was just Batman and Scarecrow, and on the back, the picture of the Joker figure has been removed.
 
Manage to pick up Supreme Commander Gold Edition for 20.XX. Also saw two movie master Batman figures with the bat-a-rang. Damn, still looking for the Joker one though.

I live in Augusta but swing by the Topsham Target when I'm in the area. A fellow CAGer in the area is probably the reason the place is always so picked clean.

Damn... already at 50% off. I have a Target that does the same but they usually take longer to get to 75% off. I'd like to pick up Bully, RE and MP3 but I rather wait for the drop to 75% off.

Saw Kane & Lynch PS3 for $27.98 yesterday. Picked up Dancing with the Stars Wii for $7.48.

I usually hit the South Portland one but was in the Topsham area to see my in-laws in Brunswick...was happy I stopped in, haven't checked the South Portland store yet.

Just saw that Blu-ray player marked down to $272.98 today. Not going to say where, so don't ask. Had a sign about being on clearance until 8/16, so if it makes it that far, I might pick it up.

YMMV on these. The Target in University Hts., OH (Warrensville Center and Cedar) had both of these games for $34.98 this morning.

If you bite on a non-PS3 BluRay Player, check to see if it's the kind that can be updated. Not all of them do.

It can't. It's the original Sony model, which is why it's on clearance. Getting ready to be discontinued. I just sold a sealed one on Ebay I won in a local contest. Didn't even reach $250 and the thing retails for $400. Oh well, it was free.

If you want a Blu-Ray player that can accept updates and is the best player currently on the market, I'd go with a PS3.
 
A PS3 already in the house exists because of my Uncle Target. The thought of another Blu-ray player is only due to the fact that my wife's younger brother(14) and sister(9) tend to want to play a game when I want to watch a movie Blu-ray or HD DVD(cleaned up on these). The extra Blu-ray player is for the den where the extra HD DVD player($17) is. Because for me there's games and movies.
