This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction."

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store.

I picked up eye of judgement for 34.99 but not sure if I want to keep it. I was hoping the additional cards would be on clearance. I don't want to invest too much into it but need a deck for my son.

I'm having a pain trying to play this game in the evening/night. The PS3 eye is so finicky with the light.. It won't read them/then "lose" them (doesn't see the cards there and knows they're supposed to be there so it won't do anything until it "sees" them again". Game works great during the day with the blinds open and overhead lighting on, but at night forget it (for me anyways). I've adjusted the camera settings and still no avail. I will attempt to mod the stand with some LEDs or something as EOJ should not be a 3 person game (2 playing the game, 1 playing the god of light with a flashlight)

For cards, if you check out the forums at gamefaqs.com for that specific thread I could have sworn I saw some people giving common cards away for shipping (if that). The game is fairly fun, but have fun the first time you boot it up; especially if you do the update. My PS3 needed an update for the system, that took quite a while, the eye of judgement needed an update and this took around an hour and a half (from what I read, this update is just to use set 2 cards and perhaps some online patches; had I known this I would not have updated the game) - watching the video on how to play the game took about another half hour. It took about 3 hours for us to be able to play the game from the time of opening the wrapper.

Another cavaet - There are now set 2 cards; in order to use these in the game you will have to perform the update I did (EOJ) and pay for the right to use those cards in the game (PSN, not sure the exact price as I will not pay for the right to use something that I've already paid for). For this reason I had to make sure I bought a deck that was not set 2.

skate (1 copy left) - $19.98
lost planet (360, 1 copy, price wasn't on the game, didn't scan it)
lots of old sports titles on ps2 (ex. Tiger Woods 08, Madden 08) - $5
MLB 2k7 (ps3, 5 copies left) - $19.98
some others that I can't remember. they had mostly ps2 games on clearance.
 
I'm waiting for Unreal 3 to drop to $10 or $15 from $19.98 for the PS3. >_< I picked up a Kane & Lynch for $9.98.

Not sure if anyone else found this either, but I got a 8 gig thumb drive for 21.98 a couple days ago. It was on clearance.
 
I'm still waiting on kane and lynch to drop at my store for the ps3. still 19.99, odd that they marked the madden collectors edition to 44.98 right away but Kane and Lynch they take there time. anyhow I noticed they finally clearanced out the 20gb xbox 360 drive 69.xx

The Madden Collector's Edition started at $90 so they marked it half off. I am sure that K&L for 19.99 is more than half off. Everything is by percentage.
 
At the harmarville target found a ps3 heavenly sword that was "not in system" - it looked liked somebody was hiding it behind some ps2 game :) - after a few target folks came over picked it up for $15 - also picked up GOW 2 on sale (not clearance) for $17
 
I got a Bully wii for $14.98 a couple weeks ago. Boogie Wii seems stuck at $19.98 - has anyone seen it drop this week? There's also some terrible wrestling game they have stacks of for $14.98 forever that I would totally buy if it dropped to $7.48

Just one more drop for Grid to 29.98 and Im buying for sure. Also with all this talk about Unreal 3 Im gonna go see if they still have the copies i saw for 19.98.

I picked up Boogie Wii for $9.98 last week.

Don't understand why it would come with a black mic instead of white.

Because EA doesn't want to pay to manufacture seperate Mics for the PS2 version.
 
So the PS2 and Wii mics are identical, right?

What about the mics from American Idol Encore 360 and High School Musical?
 
anyone know if that's the creative zen stone that's on clearance or the creative zen? stopped by target over lunch and they had both in stock, neither was marked clearance though.
 
I wish I had a camera with me, but the Target on Arizona Ave and Warner had an end cap FILLED with Scene it. I stopped counting around 50-- I guess there was probably about 55 copies. Insane. I'm gonna wait until it hits 12.48-- I'll use the Sears receipt to return it for 24.98.

Funny that you stopped counting at 50, then guessed that there were 55. You couldn't count 5 more to be sure? :lol: Reiterating gatorbait68, how much were they?

I've also seen these at multiple Targets. I'll jump on Lost Odyssey when it gets to $20 or below.

Most of the Targets near me also have Kane and Lynch both for the 360 and PS3 at $19.98. I'm still waiting for that one to get to $14.98 or $9.98. I thought it would have happened by now because there's a ton of them in stock and they've held at that price for at least a month.

Scene It (360) at the stores near me is the same price as Lost Odyssey: $41.98.

Also noticed a few stores have the GH1 & GH2 PS2 Double Pack at $41.98.

I've seen the Guitar Hero 2-pack for $29.98 near me. I didn't get it because I got both Guitar Hero and Guitar Hero 2 for $9.98 each from (ironically enough) Target.

Wow! One store has had a couple copies of it stuck at $41.98 for over 3 months. Another 2 stores only marked them on clearance a few weeks ago.

There's no way to tell... Maybe, maybe not.

When a Target clearance price ends in "8" (.98, .48, etc.) it will continue drop down lower if it's not sold.

When the price ends in a "4" (like .94), that's the lowest it will go. If it's not bought at that price it's removed from the system and sent back to their warehouse.
 
Grabbed a Kane and Lynch for PS3 for $9.98. Saw a couple 360 ones for $19.98.

Several copies of Advance Wars Days of Ruin for $14.98, but didn't bite on those.

Ugh my Target started keeping most of the clearance games in a stack piled on the bottom of the locked case. I can't even check prices without bothering an employee now.
 
Finally gave in and picked up Bully 360 for $14.98. There was 1 copy behind the glass case that went down to $14.98 and was bought by someone else. I got lucky and found a copy at another Target. Also, saw a bunch of Scene Its priced at $41.98 (I'd say about 30 copies). I'll pick it up if it gets down to $14.98. Finally saw Bourne Conspiracy, Grid and Lost Odyssey at $41.98.

Still waiting for a drop on MP3 ($24.98), K&L and UT3 (both $19.98).
 
Peru, IL Target had about 20 copies of UT3 for PS3 for $19.98 and 5 copies of FF12 for PS2 at $9.98. The Final Fantasy games are in the value games aisle so I'm hoping they'll still be there once they drop to $5, they blend in perfect so nobody would really notice.

I gotten down to the last shelf, and I had counted most of the shelf-- except for the few that was stacked ontop of the neat row of Scene-It games. At that point, I said, "What the fuck am I doing, I'm counting Scene Its." I would guess there was only five more left though :lol:

You can get around this -- Get the UPC number for such games from half.com and then find a upc creator on the internet, and then print out the UPC code and scan it at one of the scanners on the aisles at Target.
 
none of those wii games are more than 30% off at my target.

I dunno which targets you guys live near but all of mine discount 30-50% off on those games listed. Not 75+%.
 
My favorite Target (they usually start clearance at 50%) threw me a curve ball this week. They usually do clearance drops on Monday mornings. I have been waiting for Metroid Prime 3, Bully and Kane & Lynch 360 to drop to 75%. MP3 and Bully were behind the glass case and were untagged.:D Last Monday afternoon, I checked and didn't see any price drops. I did notice that they had clearanced Unreal Tournament 3 PS3 at $19.98.

Today I was close to this Target so I stopped by to check and MP3, Bully and K&L were gone. :whistle2:s I checked the price using the DPCI at the scanners and they all dropped to 75% off. :shock: MP3 and Bully had a red clearance sign over the shelf tag. I guess they switched the days that they do their clearance drops. :bomb: The worst part is that this Target is only 5 minutes from me. #-o

Nope. It's on the 'to do' list for them, apparently. All the Targets in my area usually have them done within the first hour on Monday, though.
