This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Picked up Pure PS3 and MLB 08 The Show PS3 for $14.98 each at the Forest Hills Target in Richmond, Virginia, still had a few of each on a clearance end-cap. Also saw one 120GB HD at $125.

The Target on City Line Avenue near St. Joe's in Philly had 4 120GB drives at $126. That's the first Target in a couple weeks I've seen still with drives.

Check on the end cap facing the walls or in lockup ... of course, around electronics, but for endcaps, may be as far out as a few isles down.

Bummer. The cheapest I found it for was $24.98; after that, their inventory disappeared. I did see the Psyclone PS3 controller for $20.98, but it neither has sixaxis or rumble --- and you have to use AAA batteries.

Yea I was surprised too since the last time I went there, no controllers were on clearance at all. It's in my car right now, but I'm fairly certain there was only one clearance tag on the box instead of the usual stacked tags. So it went from $49.99 to $12.98. Sweet!

Try the DVD section. Most of the Targets in my area put their clearanced PC games there.

Went to the Target in O'Fallon MO today. Snagged R6V2 for $20, think I'm gonna give that to my bro. for Christmas. I know he's only part owner in his Xbox, but he'll still get some use out of it. Almost got one for myself in case they ever get online, but I think I've spent enough.

Only thing else I saw of interest was Facebreaker for $30 (360). And it didn't even have a tag on it.

Plus there were a ton of other games on the endcap that weren't on clearance. But this one had Lost Planet for $20.. which I hadn't seen anywhere else.

Still thinking about going back to get Bad Company for $25...

Stopped by both the Macedonia and Strongsville, OH Target stores today. Macedonia basically have no games on sale. Strongsville dropped prices on Pure and Ninja Gaiden II for the 360 to $29.98, but nothing special. Lego Indy is still $34.98 there. Only real price drop I saw was the Psyclone chargers going from $20.98 to $14.98.

Well, Sega Bass Fishing and No More Heroes were gone before dropping but I did find a Nerf wireless PS2 controller for $12.50. Mario and Zelda wall graphics for $3.50 but they were bent up. Guitar Hero faceplates for PS3 and 360 for $3.50. Lots of games for all systems but nothing cheap enough for me to buy yet. Keep an eye on We Love Golf, which was $30ish.

I don't think the transfer kit is designed for the 60gb - it was made when only the 20 gb was out, so that might be the problem.

I don't know DHS. You have to figure how difficult it is going to be to find a hard drive if and when they make their final drop. If you think you can swing it, wait a little longer on the hard drive. Unless you're crunched for space, I'd be all about waiting and trying my luck.

It just dropped to 90, and it's pretty much established that most targets will not price adjust a clearance item. So you'd have to return it, wait for it to make it back to the shelf, and hope it dropped.

Just be happy that you got it for $90 and use it. I drove around for an hour last night looking for one, and would have gladly paid $90.

I was in the same boat as you. The problem is the included software is only made for 20GB HDDs. Just call Xbox support and tell them your transfir kit is faulty, and they'll send you a new one with an updated software disc. Or transfer everything over with a memory unit.
