This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There is no good way. It really depends on who is at the customer service counter. I would say that if they still have the game instock to buy it and then return it using your old receipt. If they no longer have the item in stock you will most likely have to return it and watch the clearance rack for them to put it back on (if they even do).

I politely disagree. From my time working at Target: Clearance team and plan-o-gram were the teams that were busiest during the holidays/summer, and most seasonal hires were put in those positions. When we didn't have college/high school student temp hires or Xmas help, clearance did not get done that fast; you were too busy doing normal logistics. If clearance were high priority, we wouldn't discuss different prices on games in different stores. They'd be as low as you could get them. Scene It is a good example. It takes up a lot of space and people saw it priced at 41.98 for a long time.

Your store could have been managed differently from my own or perhaps policies have changed. I worked for almost a year back in 1999/2000 on the Target Price Change Team. That's all I did. I think different managers have different styles. Also I have to disagree with your accessment on TGT dropping prices at all stores at once. It's based on what sells at the particular store. There's some algorithm at TGT HQ that adjusts clearance prices per store based on performance and items in-stock.

On-topic: 3 Eye of Judgments still available in a TGT. Active CAGs in Richmond with 30 or more posts can PM for the location.

O/T, but, you can sell the cards on ebay (some are worth a good deal), and either sell the game to BBV for $30 (though it's YMMV without the cards and cam) or to someone here or on ebay for $10-15

That's the thing, I checked on eBay and there were only a handful of people selling everything MINUS the camera and there were no takers. I guess I'll hang onto it for a little bit and decide later.

2 at Gig Harbor. That's what Federal Way said when I asked if they could check their systems for other stores. I commute from Tacoma to Auburn every day so I'm in no mood and don't see the point in wasting that kind of gas for a $15 game.

PURE - PS3 - $47.98
FaceBreaker - PS3 - 34.98

They were behind the glass case with the red stickers on them. These games just came out. I took pics with my camera phone. I'll post them later.

I have been at college and I just came home for the weekend. I checked my local Targer out here at my house for all the things I couldnt get up near my college. Everything was ringing up full price, GTA LE was 62 or whatever, DBZ BL was 41 and then I scanned some printouts of older clearance titles like KuF CoD and a few others I can not think of, and they all came up as unable to find in the system. I was just about to give up on this Target when I found Guild Wars GotY for 7.48.

At least I got something! Though it does stink, all I want is DBZ and GTA!

I have even gotten 2 20gb 360hdd for $25 each yet I can not find any of the above named titles at their apparent cheapest prices. I had high hopes because I was the first one to post Lost Odyssey's drop and assumed the one Target out at college would be pretty quick with its drops.. but no diceeeee

Found Lost season 3 on bluray priced at $39.9x with an as-is sticker. Does anyone know if the price on "as-is" items ever drops. Would like to pick this up but not at that price. I had seen them before but I always ignored them. I just assumed that they were the PC game.

The Targets in my area don't have the digital picture frames on clearance yet. The external HDs were all picked up at 30% off.
