This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

I usually only keep note of 360 games when lurking around my Targets, but now I am wanting House of the Dead 2&3 (Wii)

I am pretty sure the game is cheapest on clearance at Target but I can not remember.

So what is it going for at Target and is it cheaper at TRU *going there for the perfect shots and could use this as a b2g1 for other games*

Whoa... I had no idea Target had such a great clearance selection. Hidden in the back, I found Skate (360) for only $9.99!

They also had a few copies of GRID for $15, which I should have picked up. I think I'll return tomorrow and snag a copy.

Went back to the Target I had gotten my portable HD from today and the entire section was redone, no portable drives at all. Other isles has been redone as well, guitar section had all new stuff. Biggest surprise was all those 19.99 and under games that were on the flloor not locked up before were just gone, replaced with some puzzle pc games. Wondering if i'm going to see them on the clearance rack in the morning.

I did see several stores that had 2~5 copies of Frontlines (360) but every store had them at $41.xx. Since I hadn't seen the price drop anymore and since most stores had at least 1 copy, I didn't keep track. Yes, shame on me.

Also, I think it was the Milford store that had about 10 copies of Skate (PS3) for $9.98. Sorry again but I'm not a PS3 owner so I wasn't really paying attention.

I hope this helps someone. I didn't pick up much. Maybe 1 or 2 things for my bro. Prices weren't that good IMHO but I'm not paying for it, he is.

A Target about three miles from me just had its grand opening (doubling the number of Targets in my county ). I'm thrilled but realize it's gonna be a while before any clearances happen ... Seems so alien to me. An entire Target and not one red price tag!

you would think that... but not true... a few months ago a new store opened in olive branch ms (saw someone else here frequents there too). I went in the day it opened to check things out. They had a lot of games that had been clearanced for a while in the display at full price. I went back a week or 2 later and it looked like a quarter of the games were marked down, and not only that but 50%/75% off too... you never know, I've scored big there.

I know about the trade thread, but does anyone else have a store with the music gear marked down that isn't bone dry? Agreed. We had a new store open the week the Wii games like RE:UC and MP3 first went on clearance and literally nine days later on a Monday, they had marked them all down to 50%. I ended up getting Bully for $15, MP3 for $25 and RE:UC for $25. Sure, not the cheapest some people got them for, but I was pretty happy and very surprised because I just assumed a new store either wouldn't stock the games or wouldn't be aggressive in marking down. I was wrong on both counts.

Good to hear. A Target just opened near me last week. Hopefully, they start clearance next Monday but I will still check tomorrow... just in case.

Saw Face Breaker PS3 and Pure PS3 clearanced at a Target for the first time. Also saw Singstar 80's bundle clearanced at $34.98 (DPCI# 207 12 1758).

My store's been putting new titles out on the weekend, then marking them down on Monday's. This weekend I saw Backyard Football Bee Movie Game Ninja Reflex and Sims Castaway 2 . All were $20.98 - based on the OP my store might be a little behind the clearance schedule, which is why games get put out on the weekend. It could also be strategic though, since it does get a lot of weekend traffic and almost none during the week.

Well, after last week's incredible run, not a whole lot this week. Local Target had about 100 Kodak USB Wall Adapters for $2.48 (I bought one figuring something I use might be able to use it-- anyone who knows about power know if the 1A output means it will fry something that needs 500ma, or will it put out UP TO 1A and as such anything needing less than 1 amp will be ok?). I also got the last Dora photo frame for $17.48, the woman checking me out was pretty shocked at the price and verified it for herself about 5 times before letting me have it. Now to see if it actually works, box is a bit beat up.

(Edit: Frame works but wow, picture quality is pretty crappy. Yeah, it's a $17 frame now but I would've expected more for when it was full price! I think it'll be going back...)
