This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Eh my Target STILL had Frontlines for $41.xx. I'm a little upset about that but whatever. There was really nothing else that interested me personally. I did see DMC4 (PC) on clearance for $27.xx and the 42'' Olevia for around $600 or so. The speakers, mice, hard drives, etc were all the same prices and not on clearance.

On a side note/request/question/thingy, has anyone seen any kitchen appliances on clearance recently? My gf and I are looking to move out next year and need some of the essentials like plates, utensils, glasses, blender, toaster, etc and I was wondering if I could score some good deals on that stuff. Being poor college kids isn't really fun in this economy lol. When do they, if ever, mark these items down? Thanks!

Heh, I forgot to mention in mine that UT3 is STILL at $19.98 for like the 6th straight week. I don't get why it's not dropping at all?

The stock is rapidly dwindling all of a sudden, though.. none were touched for weeks but suddenly around half of their stock went this week. (and I did scan to verify it's STILL $19.98). Which is probably why it didn't drop.

I have not seen any kitchen appliances on clearance recently, but I do remember seeing some toaster ovens on clearance a while back, so I know that they do occasionally mark down stuff like that. As for plates, glasses, and utensils, those get marked down on Monday in the morning/afternoon around where I am. I've seen stuff like that on both endcaps and in their respective aisles, so look around. It seems like you just missed the big clearances of their dorm furnishings though. There were some good deals on stuff like rugs, bookshelves, curtains, etc. (normal looking stuff, not too dorm-ish) Since you have until next year, maybe you could try checking for that kind of stuff when the next semester rolls in. Also, if you have one around you, check out an Ikea.

Well dang! lol! Thanks a ton for the info and I will start looking for those items more closely. I went around my Target today, with the little time I had, and looked high and low for stuff but I couldn't find anything. I'll try another Target closer to me and see what they have. Thanks again!

Snagged a copy of Lost Odyssey for $14 at the Target in La Habra, CA off of Imperial Hwy. They had 1 more copy in the cabinet. There were also some Wii games in the clearance shelf, notably RE:4 Wii Edition and No More Heroes for $20. Didn't find any GTAIV:SEs.

the target by me still has nothing really great on clearance, they had about 20 copies of ninja reflex for wii and a lot of unreal tournament for ps3. Alone in the Dark for 7.48 (pc) was new, as were a few other PC games. They had a bunch of 256 MB SD cards pre-loaded with songs for 4.98 which might be good to erase and use for random stuff, but I didn't bite.

I did manage to find this neat wall clock made of stainless steel with 12 small clocks encased in plastic domes, each one inscribed with the name of a different world city (like they have in fancy hotel lobbies) for 11 bucks, I'm moving soon so I'll hang it in my kitchen.

Actually, I did browse that aisle the other day because I saw quite a few clearance tags. Of course, there weren't any essential appliances. It was all ice cream makers, blenders, and coffee pots/hot water machines.

You'll be fine using a 1A adapter as long as the device being powered matches voltage and polarity and the draw doesn't exceed 1A. Using it with a device that draws 500mA is just fine. It's only a problem when the draw is greater than the supply.

overall circuit city had a much better clearance bin today. the store i went to had over 20 titles for the 360 priced at 11.80 or under. i'm hoping the targets i frequent return to the format of dumping clearance games on a shelf in an out of the way place. putting them on a shelf, behind the glass, next to all the other games that are 39.99 or 59.99 makes every mom, pop, and grandma buy them just because they're under 20. which makes it hard for me and a lot of CAGs. oh well.
