This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

What kind of Magical Targets do you all go to? My GOD! I live in Brick NJ and go to the one on 70 and the one in Toms River, any Cag'ers near there experienceing the same thing? We get nothing here. hardly ANY clearance. I do manage to find one or two in a cart of shelves and price tags that the employees use as their lay away. Should I try Howell or the one where Seaview Mall used to be?

Picked up Golden Axe (PS3) for $14.98

Still waiting for Silent Hill to drop. I thought today was going to be the day but still $29.98. Hoping for it to hit $14.98. Gotta wait another week. Alot was taken from BF but a few DMC4's, Civ. Rev. and Wall-E remain but all at the too high figures of $29.98, $29.98, and $19.98 respectively.

NJ Target clearance prices seem about average. We don't seem to get as many markdowns or prices changing as quickly as some of you.

Also, for those posting what games and prices you find, unless you're saying what store your find is at, it's basically useless information.

I live Toms River. Guess we hit same stores. Howell on Saturday had some good games but all at higher prices still. I work by the seaview store. They are usually a mess, which leads to some good finds.

I picked up Gears of War Refresh at the 7th Ave/Bell Rd Target in Phoenix tonight for $19.98. For anyone looking for PS3 games, they had:

FIFA 08 - $15 (at least 4 copies)
GH: Aerosmith - $12.48 ( at least 3 copies)
Ratchet & Clank - $15 (LOTS of copies)
Uncharted - not sure of the price, I think it was $20

For the Xbox 360 they only had lots of copies of Thrillville & Spiderman.

Most the others were gone(I have the worse luck at getting clearance games at target). I was able to buy boom blox and Dead Space for the BF price adjust so that was a win though.

Man. All 360 clearance games appear to be gone from Merrillville. Saw a few PC titles and PS3 GH:A for $34.98. Even dug around a bit to see if I had missed anything. But alas, there were no 360 or Wii games to be seen.

My Valparaiso report will have to wait until Wednesday, as I work a double tomorrow.

gamefly has DMC4 for 360 at, i think, $12. it's sued, but anything i have ever grabbed from gamefly has been in absolute perfect condition; no scratches, all manuals and inserts in flawless shape, and the box is perfect too.

Weird mix of drops and non-drops at my local store. Civ Rev finally went down to $14.98, as did Ninja Gaiden II (found a single copy hiding behind some other games). But DMC4 was still at $29.98, and, strangely enough, so was NBA 09. I thought for sure it had dropped because the 10+ copies that were there on the weekend (and ignored during all the Black Friday business) were gone. But I found one lone copy hidden as well, and it was still scanning $29.98 - WTF? Who the hell bought all those at $29.98?

I did not see any copies of Pure so I assume that got bought up (assuming it dropped). Mastersun1, were you there today? Any Pure? I picked up a Civ Rev to replace my ex-Hollywood Video rental copy even though it is in good shape and I'm pretty much done playing it. Yes, it's that good. Anyone hesitating on it at $14.98 is an idiot .

All of the Kirby Squeak Squads were gone too and I think those were still $20.98 or so last time. Not sure what drop they went through to clear them out in a day like that.

CRAP - I totally forgot to check on the MS wheel. It actually DID last through the weekend here and was still there yesterday at half price I think. Wonder if it went to 75% off today - probably did. It may very well have been gone but I forgot to check for it...

Grabbed 'em both (one for me and one to pass on to a friend). I didn't realize that the prices are adjusted manually by employees, I assumed they were system wide. Didn't find any games though, was gonna snag the Gears 1 two disc version for 9.98, but this copy was still stickered/scanning at 19.98.

You don't need to do that, even if they are behind a glass case. Take a look at the first thread and it has the info you need to be able to determine what the prices are in your Target.

Did a price check (printed barcodes) at the closest Target to me last night -- NG2 and Battlefield both $29.98. Not that it matters, since stock was non-existent. Even in the glass cases, there are more empty rows than there are with any games in them

I found World in Conflict (PC) at my target for $7.48 in CT. Also picked up (360) BF Bad Co. for $12.48 but strangely, (360) MLB 2K8 was $19.98. 120 GB HDs for 360 still come up $90 but there are none to be found.

Man, I'm still waiting on 360 BF : BC and Lego Indiana drops, most of the copies have cleared out pretty quick and they still haven't dropped! Even worse, NG 2 poofed at the $30+ price range, and I can't find it anywhere.

Oddly enough, I found random good PC game price drops, but I'm not sure if their worth it. Conan was $10, and World in Conflict was $7. Don't think I want either, no time for a new MMO and WIC has some meh multiplayer.

Oh, and tons of Pirates of the Caribbean for 360 at $10. Wasn't sure if that was worth it either.

My local Target (Santa Rosa, CA) had 6 copies of Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (PS3) for $19.99, 3 copies of Pirates of the Caribean (360 & PS3) for 16.99 and 4 copies of Transformers (PS3) for $11 or $13. It seems that the store doesn't keep anything good in the clearance. I did find some other games hidden behind other games which is really pathetic.

I think Transformers was $13, because that what I've seen yesterday (here in East Florida). Also I bought Civ for $29.98 (ya I know some of you seen it for 14.98, but Florida is behind on everything), they had Silent Hill for $29.98, Conan Hyborian for $9.98, about 10-11 DMC4's for $35.
