This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy. If you try be sure to bring a smile and a lollipop.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Not a bad price for a game I rarely see in B&M stores. Elebits hasn't been in stock at my local Targets for over a year. It just came and went.

Denton, TX Target finally dropped GH:Aerosmith (PS3) to $12.48, about 4 copies left I think. The lone copy of Hot Shots Golf for PS3 just dropped to $29.98. I think a saw a sole copy of RSV PS3, but I forgot the price... one step above $9.98 though. The couple GTA IV LEs for PS3 they had are gone. One component / USB PS3 cable pack for I think $17.48.

Finally was able to grab Silent Hill: Homecoming and Uncharted for $15. Also got an extra R&C for the tradelist. Pretty much every store in Vegas is picked clean, so it was a miracle that I grabbed those two.

I believe the lowest Target ususally goes is 75% and rarely 90%. If you're waiting for certain titles to dip below the $15 mark, don't.

Found the last copy of Uncharted for $14.98 at the Santee and El Cajon Targets. Just checked Target stock online and it now says sold out for the Santee one but El Cajon is still listed as "Limited Availability," so there may be another copy hidden somewhere.

Also got a copy of DMC4 for $14.98, 1 copy left at El Cajon.

The Southaven store had 1 GTA4 Collectors Edition for 44.XX

the game linups were pretty crummy except for those. PC GH:Aerosmith for 19.xx (game only), Jericho for 360 for 29.xx, and a few other crap titles i don't remember. no PSP or DS games at ALL, and the HUGE HUGE piles of NG2, Ratchet and Clank and Uncharted are all completely gone.

Thanks for the GH Aerosmith info, I live by Highland Village. About Madden 09, I got the collectors edition for $45 @ target the week after it came out. I was lucky enough to get there as they were marking it down, because it was their last copy.

Also, I don't know if someone's posted it yet, but Medal of Honor for PSP is $13 and will probably be marked to $5 or $7 next week (I can't remember which MoH).

Go to the Target at Northland Mall in Southfield because I was there last night and they have 10 copies all marked for $44.98. Ironically, they also have copies at the one in Allen Park which is the home of the Lions Practice facility.

I have seen a lot of clearance games on the shelves inside the cases lately so I suggest keeping up with this thread and look out for the red tags.

I wouldn't call if I were you, unless you are checking to make sure they actually have one. If you let the employee know sure they'll check the price for you but don't be surprised if he lies and tells you it's $99 (or however much before $45) and snags the deal for himself. Many Target employees are unaware of the current prices for clearance items.

That's odd lately almost all of the Targets around my town have taken the clearance games out of the glass cases. I think I've only seen 1 Target that still had a couple of games behind there. Now I kinda wish they were behind it so people couldn't pick them up and scan them so easily.

Speaking of that, Targets' clearance games in Sac, CA, have been cleaned out pretty badly. Haven't seen anything really worth noting except Madden 09 LE & GTA4 SE finally dropping to $45. I'm willing to bet more will be gone after xmas weekend .

Uncharted disappeared from the LA area quickly and at the $29.98 price point. I know of a couple of Targets that show a copy in stock (at $29.98) but I have yet to see them.

Uncharted was all gone and there were 6 of them there a week ago.
