This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Me too, went to 3 targets....nothing doing. If anybody comes across those games and is looking for End War sealed....I have two copies, brand new to trade.

lol $0.38. i picked up VF5 for $10 its a pretty old game tho. does anyone know if i can use arcade stick contollers for it?
 
I went today and got VF5 $9.98 Mercs 2 $14.98 and Lego Batman $24.98 for xbox 360. Saw Transformers for $14.98 fracture $19.98 too human $19.98 for xbox 360. PS3 saw endwar (game only) $29.98 ,Rock Band track pack $14.98 mercs 2 $20.98.
 
Just got back from my Target (Maryland Parkway + Flamingo in Vegas) and saw:

i generally keep to the targets on capital and the greatland in brier creek (just cuz that's close to work). also, i usually don't have the money to buy (even on clearance) but once in a blue moon. i just like getting the info out there for others. :D
 
I got some Crystal wine glass's from Riedel Viviant for 11.24, Normaly 44.99. Really nice.. picked up a set of 8 because i did not have any and the looked really nice/fancy.

Does anyone have the number for the Disney sing it bundle they could give me? My store turned them sideways in the case which is good because you can not tell they are marked down but not I can not see price.

Hey thanks I was not to picky on what system that's why I did not really say a system. Does anyone know though if I get this for 360 though can I use the mic on Rock Band and World Tour? that might influence my choice if I can

Yes you can.

It comes with a Logitech USB mic. You can use any USB mic ro sing on the 360.

I use a Logitech mic from :ps2: Boogie. Heck, it's probably the same mic that's packed with Sing It.
 
I saw a 26" Sony Bravia LCD TV on clearance today. I don't remember the exact model # but it was marked down from $579.99 to around $430 or so. That would be a nice pickup if it would hang around to 50% or 75% off.
 
I bought the :360: Disney Sing It bundle for my little sister for $27.98. I plan to give it to her as a birthday present, which isn't until June, but I know she wants that game. I saw that the :ps2: version was exactly the same price. I was debating on what version to get her but I just decided on the :360: one in the end.

yeah I was kinda on the same fence but now that I learned you can use the mic on other games once again the 360 achievements make the choice for me lol

dropped by my local target in chino hills and saw tiger woods (ps3) for 41.xx clearanced. Tomb raider was at 49.99 and i think i also saw another game clearanced at 41.xx, but im not sure which it was...i wanna say mirrors edge, but don't quote me on that one.
 
Just picked up Rock Revolution(360) for $13.98

I picked up Gears of war one for 9.98. I was surprised they still have one.

When I went to checkout the cashier didn't believe me when I told her that its $9.98. So she calls over the security and asks him how much it is.(Yea, like he would know) He turns to me and says, "We usually sell these at $39.99". Again I say that it was $9.98. At this point the security is saying that I can't purchase the game because 9.98 is way below msrp. I stand my ground and call for a manager. I tell him the price and he gives it to me. All of this took 15 minutes of my time...

I'm guessing it scanned out of the system and that's why the cashier was giving you a hard time?
 
Did anyone mention Final Fantasy IV for DS yet? I found it for $27.98 at a local Target. I also noticed that Dead Space for 360 was stickered in the cabinet as "NCF Xbox 360 Dead Space". Pretty sure we'll see an orange sticker soon as NCF marked items are clearance or at least clearance bound.

My Target is useless, all the games listed in this thread are either still marked as full price or no where to be seen :(

Good catch! I don't own a DS yet, but that's one I will want when I get one (or maybe I'll commandeer my little sister's for awhile) so I'll have to keep my eyes out for it.

Is it normally a drop every two weeks? I think that was the general consensus, but everyone seemed to be saying different things. If it is every two weeks than this week Too Human would be going to $19.98, than two weeks after $9.98? Because I enjoyed the demo enough to grab that at $10

Tonight I saw FF IV clearanced for the same price in my area. Finally saw Viva Pinata DS and Locke's Quest for $13.98. Also, I found a lone copy of Fable 2 LE for $48.98.

Not sure if it's been mentioned yet but I saw Soul Calibur IV :360: clearanced at $41.98.

No idea, but my receipts for clearance games always have NCF Xbox 360, NCF PS3, or NCF NDS on them. I think the C in it is for clearance, not sure about the N or F. I just noticed that it was on the sticker for the 360 version of Dead Space and not the PS3 one. I think we'll see it clearanced soon, which would be great because I'd love to pick the game up at a cheap price.
