This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

I think the reason Halo 3 LE dropped was because there was too much supply and virtually no demand. In the case of Halo Wars LE, those are much harder to find since they printed much less copies. I highly doubt that you'll be able to find them in retail stores in the future.

Richmond Midtown, finally picked up Speed Racer PS2 for $4.98 and Lego Indiana Jones PS2 for $9.98.

Lots of copies of Halo Wars. The Short Pump Target had lots of Prince of Persia, but I don't remember the price. Midtown also had lots of Buzz for X360, but I don't recall the price.

You will not find these new, sealed anywhere for cheaper as the Mythic Map Pack code this featured gave Halo 3 players access to the map pack 1 month before it was released on Live, and those codes by themselves sold for $30-$60 before Bungie announced the release date for the map pack so most of these were bought way before now.

I saw some the opening week in March at Best Buy, then I saw one at a STL-area Gamestop for full price in April, then didn't see another one until I got the sealed one at a Target I posted about a page or so back. If you want to risk it still being there for a possible drop after a holiday weekend good luck to ya, but don't be sad if it's long gone.

As others said, the issue with the Halo 3 Legendary was too high cost for the content, over supply, and little demand outside of the hardcore. This LE had more demand, less supply, and cost wasn't too bad considering if you sold the maps you made at least 1/2 of your money back.

When I went for the Halo Wars/baseball game midnight launch in March at my main Gamestop (I was the only one there for MLB The Show 09) there were 25 people there for Halo Wars and all of them did the LE.

Sins for $7.48 is an AWESOME deal. I got mine when it was on sale for $30 and it was more than worth it.

Well a hoarder finally found my new Target. It's been open for a few months and luckily for me it's close to my house and in a not-so-populated area. Scene It BOS is definitely worth it at $19.98. I have it and it's WAY better than the first one (ability to play people online, download new questions, etc.) wonder if they'll put a TV scene it out this year?

Speaking of which, I wonder how gone the two copies of XBlades I saw at my local store a week or so ago are now. I really hate my local Targets, since they never have the same schedule as everyone else in this thread and they're always 2-4 weeks behind.

Are you talking about the new one off of Woodlake Parkway? If so, damn, those copies had been for at least a month already, so it's surprising to hear that all of them have disappeared. I find it hard to believe a hoarder would have bought all of them, though. Don't they take clearance games off the shelf once they've been there for a certain amount of time?
