This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city and state. For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks!

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Data ,Milk.com , or UPC Database and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in yellow are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

Went in tonight and checked everywhere. All I found were two random games in the case. Nothing else.

Let me just ask something as a n00b... These clearance prices aren't actually listed, correct? You have to actually have them ring it up for it to show the correct price? Do you have to mention to them that you saw it should be incredibly cheap, or will it automatically show without problems?

They're not "listed" persay - it's very YMMV with Target, as each stores drops are different. Most of the time they will have the red clearance sticker on them. Mentioning anything to them will not help - please don't in fact, it's a good way to get everything in your store swiped up by employees. If it doesn't ring it doesn't ring. Pretty much red sticker or nothing, although if you're in doubt (and I've found at least 4 deals this way) - take it to a scanner and scan it yourself. Very YMMV.

I think he meant if you can return it and rebuy it at the lower price...
which at some places they will give you a hard time doing so like they did with mine when I picked up GRAW 2 for $14.98, then returned the next week when it was $7.48 and the girl didnt want to give it me because she said you cant rebuy at item that has been just returned, and it has to be put at the self again to rebuy it!

Good luck...went through 3 of the MyBooks at my last job. They died at the drop of a hat. Horrible drives...not the quality I expected from WD. I've had better luck with Seagate external drives.

I bought this game up for $25 used and played through it. I was extremely excited about and blockbuster didnt stock it anywhere near me so had to buy it but it didn't live up to my expectations. Returned it after I beat it. Hoping for red dead redemption to be better.

Seems like i'm in the minority for not liking it though. just not enough variety and didn't think the graphics/story was great and gameplay was a bit too slow for me.

Easily one of the Best RTS games on the PC ever. But it does lack a story its pure multiplayer battles even if its just you vs. the computer. its 19.99 regular price at target right now anyways

The myBook enclosures are pretty terrible. But if you can get a 75% off or more from a 1TB myBook, you could just take the drive out and replace it with another one.

The HDDs inside are pretty nice. I used it for my desktop a while back.

I noticed this too. My Target ran out of those Socom bundles a long time ago.. but I saw a couple today at the $40.xx price. Another thing is.. Patapon 2 all got sold out at $9.xx weeks ago. Then a shitload more came in stock at $4.xx again just this week. Again, it's very YMMV.

Perhaps they shift stock between stores, moving titles to a store that sells more copies, than one that sells very few?
