Yea I want to read the book now as well.

As far as ECW goes, I like how the last few weeks they have been having some good matches in the middle of the show. TNA could learn from this instead of trying to shill their PPV every minute they are on the air.

i'm fast forwarding through ECW. Damn, that's a big gash in Holly's back!

Didn't he get sidelined with an infection this year? I hope that gash gets treated well and it doesn't recoccur.

Kudos to Holly for working through that and finishing the match without bringing it home early. Great match to start the show out.

Nothing's going to change the fact that I think Holly is a subpar wrestler, but his credibilty definitely went up in my book after that last match.
He could not touch him because he would not get to invoke his rematch clause if he touched him. I would have much rather heard Eric pimp out his book than watch 10 minutes of a horrible beatdown. Booker's kicks on Cena were some of the worst kicks I have ever seen in my life. No effort was put out and it was really sad.
Ah, I thought that was only during the match that Edge couldn't jump in.

Makes perfect sense about Booker though, doesn't it? I mean here is a guy who has busted his ass for years with Harlem Heat, as one of the last good wrestlers in WCW, and then for over 5 years in WWE, only to win the WWE title once he's finally gone so far past his prime that a lot of what he does just comes off as ridiculous and half-assed. He'd probably die if he tried to do the Harlem Hangover at this point.

he still attempts the hangover all the time but mostly misses..
he still attempts the hangover all the time but mostly misses..
He does??? No way, shows you how much attention I pay to smackdown. Maybe I should go to b-dubs for that next ppv afterall. Damn friday night crap, if they moved back to Thursday I'd watch every week. Well, would've until TNA takes that time slot.
he still attempts the hangover all the time but mostly misses..
Huh? You sure about that? The last time I saw one was Wrestlemania XIX.

I hope that match wasn't a work, and Holly either dies or is forced to retire.

fuckin' respect, my ass. I don't care about him at all, and the best thing that can happen to him is if he never shows up on my TV again.

So I take it you don't like Sparky?

I completely forgot about ECW and was watching Smith. I turned it on just in time to see Sandman get pinned. Probably the only thing I missed was Tazz yeliing "WOAH, WOAH, WOAH, WOAH!!!".

Bit harsh methinks, although I'm not too far removed from the same sentiments as Myke here. Holly has been notorious for treating other guys on the roster like shit. I do think he fits good on ECW though, and I do think that was a damn good match.

There has been talk of putting Charlie Haas and Shelton Benjamin back together as a tag team to work a tag title program on Raw. There is on and off talk, usually off, of Benjamin being on a "death sentence", because the feeling is his promos are average and you need to be better than that. One insider said he could be a player but "because he can’t recite several pages of a scripted promo he's considered hands off."

Bout freakin' time.
That's priceless. Where'd you find it?
i found it on the same website i got the Hall interview from and it was the most amazing thing i've ever seen so i ahd to share it :)
Whatever happened to managers who would talk for those who couldn't? Benjamin's just too damn good in the ring to treat like dirt.
Damn straight. If it is all about cutting good promos then why not put Nitro and Masters on the backburner since they both suck at promos and niether of them ever seem to get the crowd to pop.

those days are long gone along with a good tag team divison. In the Skandor Akbar shoot he talks in detail about this.

I would much rather see Armando Alejandro Estrada managing Benjamin than Umaga.

Long to make major announcement
Sept. 27, 2006
Sources close to Theodore Long have told WWE.com that SmackDown's General Manager plans to make a major announcement this afternoon at 3 p.m. ET on WWE.com. There is no word at this time as to what the General Manager has in mind. Check back this afternoon for Theodore Long's announcement
Huh? You sure about that? The last time I saw one was Wrestlemania XIX.
I may be wrong but i know i saw one recently... at ppv or something

My thoughts on "that MVP dude".....

And in other news.....

Same here, but I figured out monday night how the title match was going to go. When they announced it on Raw, I thought "I bet Matt Striker will find some way to screw the Sandman in the match" and sure enough that's what happen. Damn WWE is so fucking predictable.

As for Hardcore Holly, I hope that wound gets infected and forces time off for him.

It's crazy.

Eugene has to be coming next, I can feel it! I'm astounded each time they release someone that ISN'T him. Wasn't Kid Kash the crusierweight champion?

A former cruiserweight champion, Gregory Helms is the champ at the minute. I got a feeling they gave Helms the title this long due to all the crap he had to put up with as the Hurricane.

Kid Kash, huh? See you in TNA in December.

Nah, I think it's because they forgot (1) Helms still worked for them or (2) there was a cruiserweight division. Like Milton in Office Space, he somehow stays on the payroll.

Just now I'm shocked that The Hurricane still has a job.

Vince: You don't understand. He still has a job... we just fixed the error and he's not getting a paycheck.

Helms: Um, excuse me. I didn't receive my paycheck this week. If you keep on ignoring me, I'll set the ring on fire. And by that, I mean, I'll go to TNA.

Atleast Shelton gets crowd reaction inside the ring, unlike those other two. Especially Masters, after Super Crazy gets done with him I say he'll be joining Kid Kash.

Super Crazy and Psicosis would be perfect for TNA, and hopefully they wouldn't be stuck with a damn lawnmower-riding gimmick.

Both actually already have worked for TNA back in 2003.

I'm really enjoying SC's work on Raw the past month. I never get to see Smackdown so this is the first time I've seen him wrestle really. Did they fire Psicosis?

I know. Didn't Juvi also have a stint in TNA?

I'd love to see them in the X Division.

Psicosis is just going through the "creative has nothing for you" phase, if I'm not mistaken.

Love the avatar, Francis.

What most people don't know is that Kurt was wearing a full-sized hat, but that his neck and head are so large that it looked like a kid's hat.
