The NFL 2012-13 Season Thread - Super Bowl XLVII is the Harbaugh Bowl!
49ers vs Raven will be a crappy Super Bowl. The next two weeks will be Harbaugh brothers this, Harbaugh brothers that and don't forgot about enough Ray Lewis talk to make your head explode.
I'm getting nauseous just thinking about it. This is like the worst season ever.

Well I know not to turn on ESPN radio at work, cause I can't stand The Hardbaughs or Ray Lewis, and that's all sports talk will be about for the next solid 2 weeks.
Brady could've run for that first down!
No chance. Ngata would have caught him. Brady's slower than I am, and I'm slow as hell. It couldn't have been uglier than the pass he threw though I guess.

Even as a 49ers fan I'll probably avoid most of it. But the game itself should be good.
He shoulda made Ngata miss like that time he juked Urlacher.
He wouldn't have knees any more. I'd like to see him play next season.

A bit puzzling that the Ravens didn't even try to burn some clock there...

They need a TD in under 3 minutes. I'd also go for 2 now assuming they score so you know what you need the rest of the way (one score or 2).

If My wife was Gissele, and loaded with money like him, I'm sure I could part the Red Sea, so juking a 300 pound man should've been cake.

its Ngata. Doesnt take much to make him miss.

As opposed to two weeks of hearing about "The Greatest Dynasty Ever" and the legendary Tom Brady. Come on, man. If it's 49ers and Ravens, it's because they deserved it. I understand being disappointed, but at least give credit where credit is due.

Pats weren't meant to win, cause that deflective pass went right into Ravens player hands 15yds down the road. I guess this Destiny for Ray Lewis is coming true.

Of course they deserve it, that's why they will be at the Super Bowl. Guess I will be rooting for 49ers, because of my dislike for Ray Lewis.
I would think not too bad, he still has Gisselle and millions of cash to go home to.
And 3 Super Bowl rings and more playoff wins than anyone else in history. I know I'm a Pats fan, but I honestly have to laugh every time people talk like Brady's legacy is somehow diminished by losing in the playoffs. Dude is now 5-2 in AFC Championship games and 3-2 in Super Bowls. He could not win another playoff game in his career and still retire as one of the handful of best of QBs of all time. Not that I'm hoping for that.
I'm looking forward to the video of Gisele once again ripping the receivers for dropped balls.
Last time she had a point, this time I don't think anyone could deny that Brady himself played like shit. Although in my mind that Welker drop was the single biggest play in the game. Seems familiar.

Yep exactly Super Bowl, I love Welker but damn when it's a must catch on the big stage, he rarely comes through. Did they extend Welker contract yet? Anyhow I hope they do, because he is pretty clutch during regular season.
What is Hardbaugh flipping out about, you guys won already, just let Brady build his yard total.
He is complaining the clock took too few seconds off, giving the Pats an extra play

Nope. I have a feeling he'll be back, but we'll see I guess. I've had the feeling they think Edelman can do the same job for cheaper when he's healthy.
rotf i like how the o line is quitting on Brady now
Well it's a little easier to pass rush when you don't have to defend the run and can just pin your ears back. That's one of the many reasons coming back late in the NFL is a hard thing to do.
Nope. I have a feeling he'll be back, but we'll see I guess. I've had the feeling they think Edelman can do the same job for cheaper IF he's healthy.
fixed that for you.
fixed that for you.
What I said meant the same thing. When he's healthy, they think he can do the job, keeping him healthy is the problem.

I'm no expert but I think not scoring in the second half isn't helpful (BOTH Pats and Falcons got shut out after leading at the half).
Makes you wonder how important Gronk would have been in this game
Considering their performance in the Red Zone, I don't think you really need to wonder about it. They're capable of winning without Gronk, they certainly didn't play like it tonight.
