Considering that the Wii needs the AV out and the AC adapter connected already, I can't imagine that a tiny little cable for the sensor bar would really muck up the works. It's about the smallest cable that I've ever seen come out the back of a console and it's the only one you can eliminate LOL!

The couch is seemingly too far from the TV for the sensor bar and the Wiimote to interact. The OEM sensor bar doesn't have the range that I need.
