Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Almost everything that has been sitting in the clearance section at my local Target for weeks was gone today, but I did grab one of the two WarioWare D.I.Y.s they had for $8.74. It'll be a nice compliment to the WarioWare game that 3DS ambassadors get to download for free soon.
 
The ONLY thing at the Blue Springs, MO location today were overpriced copies of an old NFS game and Picross 3D. Same price they've been for two weeks. Once again... don't waste your time :whistle2:(

Sure wish I could find a $10 Blur for 360 in middle TN (or on the winnernets). Saw them at $19.98 about three weeks ago and they vanished in a flash. Or a blur, if you will.
 
My store's clearance seemed thinned compared to last week too. They had multiple DS shovelware last week, but gone today. Did see that picross stayed at $10. Saw the owl game hit 75% I think, and Monopoly ds dropped to $7.48.

I picked up :ps3:Legend of the Guardians today for $4.98, it's only a 3 hour game but I know my cousins are going to love it :), and a Pokemon White/Black Game Art Folio Book for $1.98.

All i could get ahold of today was a lone copy of DR2@ 7.48 and LOTG ps3 for same. Hey its something and im not complaining!

Good luck with that. I have been to alot of the stores here and havent seen it on clearance.
 
Got dead rising 2 (360) 7.48, sonic free riders kinect 7.48 and nfs hot pursuit limited edition (360) 9.98 also saw NBA jam (360) 9.98 but passed.

Aw man, I'd definitely pick it up at that price. I loved the movie and owls happen to be one of my favorite animals. I also wanted that CSI game, but they're all gone at mine. :(
 
Picked up the last 2 copies of Pokemon Pearl for $8.47 each. Not being a hoarder, I have 2 sons who each own a DSi but stupid Nintendo only allows 1 save slot per game. They also had several copies of PS3 Legend of the Guardians for $4.98 I think, and 1 on the DS. Also had a couple of copies of DS Indian Jones Staff of Kings for $3.47. I don't know how bad it is but for that price I picked 1 up for my kid. Never to early to buy stocking stuffers. Also a ton of $6.98 CDs that I'll pick up when they hit $2.48. (Then crossed the parking lot and picked up a new $15 Move Navigator at GS if anyone is interested.)
 
I saw a weird price tag yesterday.

It sounded like it was for the Silver DS Lite and the price was (I think) $64.xx. So that's probably on clearance if you can find one. If you find one and don't want it, drop me a PM to earn some money.
 
I think a Target employee found someones stash. Grabbed Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 for $9.98 with the tag still saying $19.98.

Also, Wario Ware DIY dropped to $8.46 I believe.

Even if they don't tag them, still check.... sometimes when they can't find items, they just don't tag them but they automatically get tagged in the system. Read the thread and find whatever intrigues you. Give a try... you never know \\:D/

I know sometimes asking the employees to scan stuff pisses them off but doing this was how I was able to score some nice deals like Borderlands for $4 when it was still marked $39. Its worth a shot.
 
I found the following last night:

CSI (PS3) - $4.98
Monopoly (DS) - $7.48
Petz Fantasy: Moonlight Magic (DS) - $4.98
Rock Band 3 (DS) - $4.98

Rock Band 3 didn't ring up automatically because it was OOS. But my holiday shopping for my cousins is done, and I'm keeping CSI and Monopoly for myself.
 
Picked up Pokemon Pearl for me and a buddy at Target. Suprised there were any left. I'll check another Target later today to see if they have any or DR2. If any fellow CAG's need a copy PM me and I'll see what I can find.
 
My Target clearance area was completely cleaned out. Really wanted Dead Rising 2 for the Xbox 360. Any nice CAGer want to help me out? I'll paypal them $10 plus the shipping for their troubles. :pray:
 
Picked up Ruse PS3 4.98

2 Targets in my area had 75% off the outdoor stuff and school supplies. Picked up a firepit for 30.xx and a patio table with 4 chairs and umbrella for 32.xx originally 129 each. Also saw patio lights were 3.xx, stainless steel gas grill for 69.xx, charcol 2.xx. Good haul today for non video game items
 
Picked up DR2 (only one copy, sorry MiraiLink, I looked) and another copy of Pokemon Pearl and the Pokemon Art thingy. The Pearl is up for trade or sale to any CAG who missed out on it, just PM if you are interested and we can work something out.

At the Pittsburgh, PA Waterfront store I picked up Warioware DIY for $8.xx. They had 1 Pokemon Pearl left at $8.xx, too bad I got it there last week when it was $17.xx. Oh well. . .

Yeah, non-gaming stuff was all over the place. I wanted that firepit but they were gone as were all the umbrellas. Did get some patio cushions to go with patio chairs I got earlier and some patio lights. Also got the smoker box attachment for the grill I got last week, but no grills except for the mini portable ones.

Best finds today were a swimming Squirt and Nemo (from Finding Nemo) pool toys @ 3.34 each and a Wi-Fli Helicopter @ 39.98 (50% off). The helicopter was cool because you use your iPhone to control flight. Never saw these helicopters before so don't know how well it works
 
I forget if it was this thread or my local thread but someone mentioned that even stores in the same state are super ymmv with clearance stuff and they weren't kidding. Been trying to find DR2... the store closest to me is still at 29.99 but a store on the other side of town had a couple for 15 last week (and of course I wasn't able to get to that store).
 
From what I saw Dead Rising 2 is no longer on clearence. The same store I saw that had it on clearence now has it back in the security case at regular price.

I've see this happen a few times before, I call it the Target "bounce" :p

I too remember seeing this. It might be YMMV though, as with all Target clearance. Except it was for a Batman game a while back. One day its at 19.xx the next its back up to full price. And it was within one day too, I actually decided to pick it up the next day because I left my giftcard at home, the next day its back up to full price.
 
The ONLY game I've seen on clearance the past week was Pokemon Pearl. I picked up one, but I'm not sure what I'm going to do with it yet. I wish I had the choices that some of the rest of you do.
