Previous threads:
Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
123-45-6789

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The website for locating clearance titles by their DPCI # is here: Find In Store

Much like the ASIN location website replace the DPCI # at the end of the URL...

(HUGE PROPS TO aj slick FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL TOOL!!!)

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell:

No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

No new game clearance today at my store. Probably a good thing anyways since I'm broke. Did see an X11 for $30.

X11s - 41.98
Tritons - 29.98
Energizer chargers still at 19.98

I did pick up 5 packs of Duracell Rechargeables - 1700mAh AA 2 packs with a charger for 2.48 (75% off). I figure they'll be good for controllers and the like, since they're 1700 mAh.

Also picked up a 4 pk of Rolling Stone pint glasses for $4.98 (75% off). I like their glasses in the 4 pks - they're really thick, heavy glass.
No, not marked clearance. This might be a universal drop, as Best Buy dropped it too according to another thread
It looks like Target is doing a bunch of $10/$15/$20 games for the holidays. At my local store today, they had new shelf tags up for a number of games on a separate shelf (not in the plastic cages). Among the interesting titles were Deca Sports Freedom, Dance Paradise and Fantastic Pets all for Kinect which are all $20. Mass Effect 2 was in the PS3 section of the holiday games for $20.

Found my first ever 3DS clearance game today, Bust-A-Move @$14.98. Hooray me!
DPCI #207-02-1325

The Trittons dropped to 29.98 at one store and picked it up for a buddy. Only one headset though. Also picked up a second Duracell wireless sensor bar at 7.48.
DPCI #207-00-0710
Had picked one up last week when it was 10.xx and have been testing it out to replace a wireless bar I grabbed back when Circuit City closed up shop. Works really well and extends the distance you can sit from it, so I'm now about 15' away and don't get any cursor jitter like with the old one.

Aside from that I found some non-VG electronics clearance others may be interested in.

Picked up and iHome unit compatible with iPad, iPod and iPhone for $64.98 (50% off).
DPCI #008--04-1007
Next was the Motorola bluetooth keyboard for $17.48(75% off). It's meant for the Xoom tablet but works just fine with the iPad. Also gonna give it a try with the HP touchpad once I get home.
DPCI#080-00-1474
Finally saw but didn't buy the philips/O'neill Snug headphones for 14.48(75% off)
DPCI #057-01-0640

I went to Target late today, all 6 copy's of :360:Dead Rising 2 I saw last week where gone. They where $14.98 last week, I don't know if they sold for that much or if they went to $7.XX this morning and el hordo got to them.
Your best bet is to call Sony...they say all you need to do is log into the playstation store on the GO but once I called I had the games within a couple of days.
The problem is I've had major problems getting them online. Just says "connecting to access point", "exchanging key information". Must be a problem with my security... but even at locations with no security and free access it can't connect. I got two for my neice and nephew this christmas and I wanted the games for them. I registered them but have not had them online. Hope that was enough.

BTW thanks for the reply.

Picked up the Trittons after they finally dropped to 29.98 to replace my worn out x11s. I notice the buzz noise, but still like the headset for the price.

Not a single game on clearance at my store tonight, but I did pick up Tetris Axis with a $10 gift card so it wasn't a total waste of time. :)

Found Megamind: Ultimate Showdown for $7.48
BB trade in is at $8.00 and it will tie in nicely with a few games I have for the 4 games $20 bonus deal.

Found bose PC desktop speakers (companion 3,series 2) on clearance for $65 down from $250. Last week they where $175. This was at Villa park, Il.bought last 2 for me and buddy.

Are they the one with a subwoofer or just the 2 speakers? If they're the one with the sub then I definitely want one or 2.

I didn't see any new games today but I did see the the trittons dropped to $29 around here. I passed on them since I already have the px5 but i did pick up a garmin 255w for $49.

Well, I tried the wiki route with this thread, idk maybe it's just me but it seems no one has been keeping up and posting new stuff, etc....

I decided to un-wikify this and start maintaining on a daily basis...I will go back to the beginning of September and log the new stuff......
They Bose are the 3 piece with subwoofer. Sorry, where would I locate the dcpo
On the price tag or the receipt. It'll look like 207-00-1234.

I haven't checked previous posts because this site & thread are both a black mess...so this could be a repost...but FYI:

Target near me (GA) has Turtle Beach X11's for around $40 (30% off). Looks like they're blowing out the X11's to make room for the X12's.

Kidding.
Although stranger stuff has sold and been profitable. Amirite?

"'teh rarez"

WTF is that, Arabic?

Normally I would agree with you, but the X11s are about the only thing people have been posting about the last few pages. You gotta at least read the last page or 2 before saying the thread is too messy to read through.

I picked up a nifty little Polaroid DVG-720 hd camcorder for 25 bucks, down from 100. Does a fine job for the price.

They also had a polaroid digital camera marked down to 10 from 40. I would NOT RECOMMEND buying one of these. They're complete junk.

Thanks for the heads up. I stopped by my Target in western CT and scanned the UPC for the Bose speakers (they have eliminated the scanners with the number pads on them so you can no longer enter DPCI numbers) and it came up $62.48 and so I took a walk back to the electronics area and there was the last one sitting there with the spider wrap around it and it was not marked with a clearance sticker so I scanned it to verify and then bought it $66 out the door - cool!

I already have a 5.1 Logitech z540 but this is a Bose and will take up less real estate with less wires around.

Wonder if I can just hook it up to an old Sound bar as a supplemental Subwoofer and use it for my basement HD TV?

Just got back from 2 Targets - didn't see a single clearance game in either one, and I was looking.

On a completely unrelated note - anybody know why every single Target compilation CD has exactly 17 songs on it? I figure it's either the Mason's, the Illuminati, or the Trilateral commission using them to pass notes to each other.

LOL, no I don't...no I won't.

My target has the garmin 1300 on clearance and the garmin 1350MLT. The 1350MLT is 104.98 and includes lifetime map updates and traffic. Amazon has it for 140.

Picked up a Duracell branded Wii charging dock with two batteries for $10.48 and a Xbox 360 transfer kit for $10. Saw a Duracell branded Xbox 360 for $20 and Psyclone brand wireless sensor bar for the Wii for $8. I passed on a $15 Psyclone brand Wii charging dock, similar to the Duracell branded one, decided for the cheaper one.

Figured I could just get a Quick Charge kit and another battery for my Xbox 360 when my rechargeable AA batteries kick the bucket for a little more. Also, not on clearance, saw a Nintendo Seal of Approved Wireless Sensor Bar for the Wii for $20. So I passed on the Psyclone wireless sensor bar.

I've been waiting for the 1350LMT to drop to that price for a couple of weeks now, but both stores (Steelyard Commons and Mayfield) I visited this week either sent them to salvage or were invaded by El Hoardo. I'm going to check one or two more stores this week, and if I can't find it, I may settle on the nuvi 255w, which I hear is at $49.98.

The store I went to had a boatload of 1300's and only one 1350LMT left. The girl at electronics attempted to give me a 1300 after I specifically asked for the 1350LMT. She told me, "Oh yeah, that's better because of the lifetime updates". I figure she wants it for herself. If I was the average customer, I probably would have assumed that she gave me right one.

Those 1300's don't even have text to speech.

Picked up a pair of Tritton's a few days ago for $40 or so, and just saw some X11's for $30. I'm not sure which pair to keep. Does anyone have any experience with them? Product reviews on Amazon seemed to indicate poor build quality on the Tritton's.

Bumped into a friend of mine who works at Target and I asked him if anything good was going to be put on clearence soon. He told me that 3 "PS3 holiday bundle systems" were set to be put on clearence for $69.00 but 1 Target employee snatched all 3 before they even gave shoppers a chance. Jerks! Anyway, I saw 1 Tritton headset for $46.99 down from $59.99 hoping it goes down some more this weekend so I can pick it up for my son.

Wow, $69 for a ps3? that's ridiculous
Wow, $69 for a ps3? that's ridiculous
I find that hard to believe and would say if has fo be against corporate policy to essentially steal these before customers had a chance to buy them.

Well didn't find any PS3 system here, but did find Soul Calibur IV ps3 for $9.99. I don't even think it's a clearance, it's probably a price cut. Can't tell because there was no tag, I had to ring it up.

Only game at my local store was a TV Superstars PS3 for $10. Pass.

I did grab a Garmin 1350T for $84.98 (057 16 0013) since there were only three left. I'm gonna hold off on opening it for awhile hopeing for a drop on one of the two 1350LMT in stock which were only 15% off ($169.98). There were a metric shitton of the 255w's in stock at $49.98.

Also picked up a HP Photosmart printer/scanner/copier for $49.98. I was wanting to wait for the next drop but all the rest of the clearance printers had already disappeared and I've been planning on getting one anyway. Guess I'm content with half price on a decent model.

Lastly I found a lone IOGEAR 12-in-1 pocket card reader for $2.62. This goes to the parents and their old ass computer.

EDIT: After looking online for the 1350T it says it has pedestrian traffic capabilities, however this is not mentioned on the box. The main reason I was looking at the 1350LMT is for pedestrian traffic.... do I already have what I need?

sounds like BS to me...

Checked a couple other stores today, but no VG finds save for the tons of Duracell accessories for all the consoles.

However, did find a Black & Decker cordless drill/circular saw combo pack @$39.98 (50% off). Nice surprise was that they use the same type of battery I already use in a weed trimmer. Compatibility FTW!

Mentioned finding the Motorola keyboard earlier this week @ 17.48. Since the store had about 3 more after my purchase, I was debating if I could use another. Eventually remembered that my PS3 could sync with it, but by that point they were all sold out and the web tracker showed out of stock. But lucked out today and found one marked at 35 and the box was beat up, but it rang up at 17.48:bouncy:

Works great with the ipad, Touchpad and PS3. Now to figure out if I can get the Wii to recognize it

So that moto keyboard does work well with the HP touchpad? You didn't have any problems with it? I was really close to buying it last week for $35, but couldn't find any info online about it working well with the HP Touchpad or not. If so, I'll definitely consider it, maybe it will ring up $17.

Haven't had issues yet. It keeps sync and responds well.

Only thing you have to do is hold down the V, A, R buttons on the keyboard at power up. This lets it sync with devices that aren't the Moto Xoom tablet. If you don't do that, you'll get error messages to try again at a later time. Makes sense since its primary function was to immediately sync to the Xoom.

Happy I found this second one since I was about to breakdown and buy the HP keyboard for almost double

Went into my Target for the first time in about 3-4 months yesterday. They completely redid the electronics department and there was no clearance shelf to be found. Bummer.

That's an interesting set of buttons to sync with ha. I'll check tomorrow and see if it's marked down less than $35. I see the HP keyboard at amazon for $29, not bad. I might just grab that if the moto one is gone.

Yeah, there's also N, E, W which you hold down to reset the keyboard to default settings.

Should also mention that if the device you're syncing with does not give you a pairing code, just type in four zeroes, 0000. It's all in the instruction booklet

EDIT: some of the hotkeys don't seem to respond on the touchpad, like the volume buttons. But they work on the iPad, go figure. Don't know if that matters to you

Has there even been a PS3 holiday bundle recently? I figured all the PS3s that have been clearanced are long gone. The guy probably meant a $69 PSP holiday bundle since there are a few of those around, and I believe that the PSP bundles have dropped to $69 (or was it $65?) in the past. I know there was the father's day bundle and another one I have seen in stores.
