Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Truth or Lies is well worth 2.48 only if you're an achievement whore. You can get 1000 achievement points in literally less than 60 minutes. :applause::applause::applause::applause::applause::applause::applause::applause:

I got around 800 achievement points in about 25-30 minutes, but it took me about 2 more hours to figure out how to "lie." No matter how fucking hard I lied, the game thought I was telling the truth.

Pro-tip: Screech as loud and as high pitched as you can and it will register a "lie" 100% of the time. It took me a long ass time to figure this out, but once I did it only took like 20 minutes to get the remaining 200 achievement points.
*A good example would be Jim Carrey's "most annoying sound in the world" from the Oscar worthy film Dumb and Dumber.*

So it should take around 60 minutes total to get 1000 achievement points.

But there's no way in hell I'll every play that game again. Even as a cheap party game to kill time with relatives, its still horrible. I wouldn't subject my friends, relatives, or even my worst enemies to this game.

Utter crap at my target over the past few weeks. Not a single game on the clearance rack. 2011 has been pretty lousy for clearance games so far. 2009, I remember, was awesome.
 
Did a Target run this afternoon...where are the clearance games? It's like they all disappeared. I did find 2 copies of SW:FUII ps3 for 19.98 though. I was shocked. They were still priced 55.xx. The kid who cashed me out asked in a somewhat accusatory tone, "Where'd you find those?" I'm assuming someone stashed these and were just recenty found. I hadn't seen one of these for atleast 3 weeks.
 
Didn't find much today, but did nab Lego Rock Band on 360 for $7.48. There was one left at the Lakeville, MN Target if anyone is looking for it.

Mentioning that YOU got something, well, there's a section for that. If I got something, I'd mention where I got it from. I'm only getting one copy anyway, and I wouldn't hog all the games anyway just to sell them for more money elsewhere. I've shared information before and I'll continue to do it. But thanks for acting like I didn't get the pirate aspect of this thread.

Manassas SuperTarget had no clearance games. Endcaps near the games were overflowing with iPad and iPhone covers, though.

PS - Yes, I'm aware of the sale today w/ Sonic, but I don't want Sonic. If it came w/ either the Lite Toy Story case bundle or the Poekmon bundle I'ld pick it up though. Couldn't find the Mario Kart bundle anywhere - looked in 5 Targets.
 
I got the last copy of Worms: Battle Islands for Wii for $7.48 this morning. I was also tempted to pick up Marvel vs. Capcom 3 from the advertised weekly sale, but since I have so little time to play anymore, I thought I should wait at least until it hits $30 or below.

The only other clearance game I saw was that crappy Excitebots Wii game for $19.XX.
 
Target Clearance has been somewhat slow here and in Nashville. However, in the past month I've scored the following:

CoD: Black Ops Prestige - $37.48 (Free after eBaying DLC)
Halo Reach Legendary - $37.48 (Planning on eBaying DLC)
SWFU II CE - $19.98

found a SWFU II CE(PS3) today for $20...was surprised to see it but then again it still had the sticker that said $55 on it...i guess no one like's to double check the prices by scanning it at the price check.

Thanks for the heads up! Got the last 360 Hard Drive and 1 of the PS2 Slims. Theres still 1 PS2 slim left for $49.98 (but its marked $69.98)

I found out tonight that the owner of one of the local shops may be my local Target competition, as I described him to the one employee and he said that sounds like the one guy who clears them out.:bomb:

Then again he also said some guy named "Orlando" comes in and does the same, so I don't know how reliable the info is.:roll:

Either way, my closest Target didn't have the standalone PS2's anymore, so SOMEONE bought them. The employee checked and told me they DID drop them to $50 too.:cry:

Of course I still wish I had left the one I bought, since the way it was positioned in the case it would've most likely went to 75% off as even the price sticker was hidden.:whistle2:#

Check the OP. Slims have been on clearance nationwide for a while now. Most have sold out at $70 (30%)

well the target's near LA, have had no stock for months. maybe they've cleared them?
 
It's possible they were out of stock before going on clearance. Some Target stores near me were out of stock since the holidays and never restocked.

Thanks admiralvic, I looked. I hate that DPCI checker. Checked yesterday for PSP bundles, store in Commack listed as "Available", so I went. NOT a single PSP of any kind in that store. May just suck it up and buy the PSP at $129 (long road trip tomorrow) in my Copaigue Target.

Commack Target had 1 60gig Xbox HDD ($60 I think) and 1 media remote ($20) down in a corner. I've been in 7 Targets in 3 weeks and that 1 has the weirdest layout. Not on clearance yet but they also had a bunch of DS bundles - cooking, Guitar Hero, 5 game Brain Age pack - which I'm sure will clearance out eventually. (I still can't believe Nintedno didn't drop prices when the PSP 3000 dropped or the 3DS came out. Nobody will ever convince me a DS Lite is worth the same price as a PSP 3000 $129. The DSi maybe, but I can't pay $20 more for it. Sorry for the rant, Monday morning blahs.)
 
YES! GPS on clearance I've been really wanting to pick up dropped to half what it was last week! $34.98 for TomTom XXL 530S (057 16 0038). Really happy because I owe my mom a GPS since I bought her a Magellan which was defective and returned. I was going to grab a couple extras since they had plenty but I was only allowed to buy 2. At least I got one for me and my mom.

Some other GREAT drops this week although not on games.

I also picked up the AOC 2036S 20" monitor for $34.98. They also had the Acer x128H monitor for $29.98, WD My Passport Essential 320GB for $29.98, and a Lexmark x4650 wireless printer for $22.48. First time in a long time I've found a lot of great deals.
 
Target at Salisbury, MD has a 32in 720p Samsung LCD TV on clearance for 164.xx. It has no box, so either a return or display.

It is sitting under the TVs not on a clearance end cap.

There was an LA-area target (I think the one on La Cienega) that had 3 of the PS2+Toy Story bundles a couple weeks ago, marked at $69.xx, but I haven't been back since.
 
two weeks in a row with fresh additions at the location I visited. had

:ps3: Borderlands GOTY - $14.98
:ps3: Darksiders - $9.98

I passed on both (already had them) and Monopoly Streets was still holding at $19.98. EA Create finally went to $9.98 but I just couldn't do it! Wouldn't have minded one of them cheap GPSes, but the store didn't have any, and besides, I think its a myth b/c in the Houston area, I never see them dip below $100..
