Previous threads:
Target clearance is YMMV, ya dig! Games may not even be on clearance at your store, or they may be higher or lower than what is on this list.

This thread is for clearance-- not for sale items. Price reductions for clearance seem to happen on Monday, although not every Monday, but could also occur any day of the week depending on your store's price change team. Price adjustments on clearance are typically not allowed, but some have succeeded or have been able to do as return and rebuy.

Target often donates its older clearance titles to Goodwill stores, so keep that in mind when you're trying to find items. BigDirty: "Further reduction is possible when a game's price ends with 8 cents. However, when it ends in 4 cents it will NOT drop anymore. If it ends in 9 cents, it's just on sale or on a non-clearance reduction." Also, note that, typically, games will drop three times-- from 30%, 50%, then to the final drop of 75% off of the original price. Some people, however, have seen further drops up to 85%.

When games are marked down, the price change team typically find the game and scan it with their PDA/LRT to intiate the price change. However, in the case that they cannot find the game, they will either choose to not drop the price further or process the price change anyway, figuring that the game is somewhere in the store.

When posting deals, please include game, system, price, city, state and DCPI #

For example:
Debbie Does Skywalker, Xbox 360, $4.98
Mesa, AZ Power Road at Superstition Springs
123-45-6789

Also, a great help when you're posting deals you've found is to check this post and see if your item's DPCI number is already listed. DPCI stands for Department, Class, Item-- it's Target's version of a SKU. These are a nine digit number that can always be found on your receipt and also on the red clearance tags on the item itself. DPCI numbers are handy to have when you want to check the item's price-- just go over to your scanner and punch in the numbers, if your scanners have keypads. Also, you can give these numbers to team members so they can check the availability of the item easily with their PDA scanners. Please post any DPCI numbers that are not already in the OP-- thanks! This is especially important since some of the DPCI numbers on Target.com start with 241, meaning they cannot be used in-store, and also meaning that I can't get all of the numbers from Target.com.

Here is a fairly easy way to check your local Target's pricing-- often price tags will not be correct. Thanks to BigDirty for this:
1) Go to Half.com or a similar site. Search for the game to locate its UPC code number. It's in the gray box underneath the box art graphic.
2) Go to UPC Database ,Milk.com , or UPC Data and enter the code so you can print out the UPC. Go to Target and use the price scanners to scan your printouts.

Thanks to Mephitical for this tool for locating clearance titles, which is located here. Go to Amazon or Target to find the item's ASIN. When you find it, replace "B000O3IS48" in the URL with your item's ASIN. This will take you to a page asking you for your zip code. Type in your zip code and click enter-- this will display a list of local stores and whether or not they have your item in stock. YMMV on it working properly.

The website for locating clearance titles by their DPCI # is here: Find In Store

Much like the ASIN location website replace the DPCI # at the end of the URL...

(HUGE PROPS TO aj slick FOR GETTING US THIS USEFUL TOOL!!!)

The lowest known price will be posted. The item could be higher or lower at your store. Numbers in purple are DPCI numbers, which can be used to check the prices of items on newer scanners.

The Legend of EL HOARDO as told by Strell:

No cankle too big and no score too small,
The one and only EL HOARDO.

He'll steal your stash - gonna take it all,
That's the one - EL HOARDO.

He's gonna run down all the aisles
and snatch up all the loot,
And he's feeling really confident
in his nipple protection suit!

Awesome sideburns and a dapper mask
He's at your local store,
Gonna clean out everything
And then go back for more!

Who's the guy in the Star Trek shades?
He's the man they call EL HOARDO.

His boots are secretly roller blades,
There he goes! EL HOARDO!

He's got a cape and it's totally sweet,
A flash in red and white,
Calls his fanny pack his utility belt,
He's ready for a discount fight!

You'd never think he could run so fast,
With a gut of giant size,
Asks all the ladies if they'd like a ride
On his Starship Enterprise!

What's that sound comin' down the lane?
It can only be EL HOARDO.

His stubby legs are gonna bring the pain,
Brace yourselves - EL HOARDO!

He packs a sword, it's a replica,
Like Zorro in disguise,
Gonna leave an H scratched on the wall,
Then he'll move those ten ton thighs!

Knows all the price drops all the time,
Has inhalers to survive,
Lives in a basement at his parents house,
At the age of thirty five!

That's the one who got your penny guide,
The stallion called EL HOARDO.

He's got his Rascal parked outside,
That Man-of-Men EL HOARDO.

EL HOOOOOOOARDOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

"You just got...EL HOARDO'D!" __________________

There have been some confirmed reports of La Whoreda, the female counterpart to El Hoardo. She is obviously more rare in the Target environment since she usually focuses her energy to her Avon business, but caution should still be exercised.

Still can't find a RB3 keyboard on clearance. I did see Spongebob Truth or Square for 19.xx, which was weird. I swear I saw this on clearance last year.
I got Buzz for PS3 for $10 (50% off), not a bad deal with the four controllers and all. Should be good for when we've got a crowd over.
As did I. Problem is, no one seems to play this online and the Single Player is very limited.

Tell me about it! All I keep seeing is the RB3 keyboard for PS3 for $19.99. Did the X360 ones ever go on clearance? Haven't seen any for regular price either, but I know Target wouldn't just carry the PS3 version only. Got to keep looking I guess.

I just picked up the PS3 RB3 keyboard for $19.99, too. Had to share, even though I don't usually look at this thread because it's a mess. Can we arrange the wiki by Date? Price is kind of stupid when you have things that are months old on here.

I found 1 copy of prince of persia for PS3 for 4.98. Now I have to figure out if I keep it or flip it to Amazon trade in for 9.50. Also my store had the my sims flying game for PS3 for 7.48.
Picked up SSFIV on PS3 for $20.98 on clearance...pretty good deal got the last one
this has been $20 new on amazon for awhile now

Why not play it first then flip it? It's a short game, you could finish it in a day. There isn't much replay value.

Picked up Vanquish (PS3) and last copy of Sly Collection at the Charlotte Pike Target in Nashville. Two copies of PS3 and 360 Vanquish left. White Bridge store had like 3 copies of Vanquish (360). Old Hickory store had 1 copy of Vanquish (360).

Has Vanquish dropped for anybody yet? Still 14.xx at mine today, although many times my store doesn't do drops until later in the week.

So happy I was able to pick up the last PS3 RB3 Keyboard at my local Target for 19.98. The store had lots of the Wii and 360 keyboards, but they were all MSRP.
Has Vanquish dropped for anybody yet? Still 14.xx at mine today, although many times my store doesn't do drops until later in the week.
14.xx.............. not enought?

Just got back from Target and they had a bunch of PSP and PSP Go accessories on the clearance shelf. I bought 2 2200ma PSP batteries for $15.24.
this has been $20 new on amazon for awhile now
I know it's not the greatest deal but it's the same as Amazon's so you don't have to wait for it to ship/pay to ship etc
Why not play it first then flip it? It's a short game, you could finish it in a day. There isn't much replay value.
I don't know that it is quite that short, but that could depend on how long you can stand playing games without breaks. I get too burnt out on almost any game after a few hours and need to do something else.

I beat it in a week or two, playing it in spurts every other day or so.

You know you're on CAG, right? The difference between 14.xx and 9.xx on here is a pretty big deal.

That should be 75% off though. Dropping past 75% is rare and usually is considered the max.

I see games hit the 9.xx mark all the time. For Vanquish specifically, $15 is too much though, yes. If it hits $10 at my store I'll pick it up.

I saw the same thing, practically all Sony branded PSP stuff is being clearenced out. Like Toys R US, it looks like Target is abandoning support of the PSP...

No, its actually at 50% off the list price of $29.99 so it should drop to $7.48 eventually if copies remain.

Can we use the $100 gift card coupon on the 250g ps3?
Clearance. It was the very last copy at the store I went to.
I see. I'll check that out. Always saw a ton of copies near the registers. Hopefully it's 10 bucks.

I know what you mean by taking long breaks between games, but PoP:TFS is fairly short. I can't remember exactly how long it took me finish but I know I didn't spend longer than a day on it. It felt like a 6 hour game on average, and around 10 hours max. I don't believe any of the PoP games are long, most can be finished in a day.

So I got an awesome score today. Saw the 500 GB WD External Hard Drive for 34.98. But I also saw that someone mistagged the 1TB also for 34.98. Grabbed it and went over to electronics to see if I could buy it. Guy notices it's mistagged since the original price is 94.99 and says he'll call his manager on what to do next. At this point, I assume I won't get it and they would either not sell it to me at that price or maybe reduce it a couple dollars. Guy says it's my lucky day since the manager will let him sell it to me.

So I scored a 1TB portable hard drive for $35 even though I didn't need it. Haha. I still haven't even gotten close to filling my 500GB external I bought years ago so I'm sure I'm set for external storage for another couple years.

after months of target clearance disappointments like wii shovelware and 20 copies of naughty bear I finally found Oblivion GH (PS3) for $10 and Sly Cooper Collection for $20. Yoink.
Which system was the RB3 keyboard for?
I've seen both 360 and PS3 keyboards, but prices weren't around $20. I want to think it was in the $40-$60 range. Don't have RB3 so I didn't make a mental note of the price.
I just picked up the PS3 RB3 keyboard for $19.99, too. Had to share, even though I don't usually look at this thread because it's a mess. Can we arrange the wiki by Date? Price is kind of stupid when you have things that are months old on here.
There's nothing stopping YOU from changing the wiki post around to arrange it by date, is there?;)

Aside from, ya know, actually doing all that work.

I still cannot find the MvC 3 CE dpci for the 360 version. . . anybody care to share and/or update the OP?

I got it to come up once a while ago but I forget exactly what I searched for, I can't get it to come up in the search again.

I'll add it to the OP if no one else has yet.
The RB3 Keyboard Bundle and the standalone Keyboard are both on clearance now?
I've only seem the bundle for $50 (50% off I think)
I've only seem the bundle for $50 (50% off I think)
I saw a PS3 keyboard that was originally $80 for 39.xx. I believe it was only a keyboard, but I could be wrong.

Picked up MVC3:SE for 360 for $34.98.
Really wanted it for PS3, but there are none showing in my state. I may keep it unless I get lucky and find it for PS3.
That's an awesome price for the netbook. If I only had a use for a netbook .
It's my bathroom computer. No joke.

Discontinued?

I called a couple stores that had the PS3 keyboard in stock and they said the item was $79.99. It was discontinued instead of being on clearance which means it would ring up at the $79.99 price. Can anyone here verify this about discontinued items?

My guess is this is correct. As far as just the game goes, it seems like Rock Band 3 was not produced in great numbers as Rock Band 2. I can find Rock Band 2 fairly easily in-store while Rock Band 3 is very hard to find short of ordering it off of Amazon. Speaking of which, Amazon has the keyboards for any platform for $59.99 right now. If you think you can't hold out, I'd pick it up.

I've seen the Wii keyboard on clearance at Best Buy for about $64. Have not seen keyboards for other platforms anywhere else actually except GameStop possibly. The bundle I bought last week on clearance at Target was the only bundle/keyboard I've seen recently otherwise.

There is a couple Halo Legendary Edition at the Sawgrass Target in Ft Lauderdale if anybody is in that area. Didn't try ringing them up and I didn't see a clearance sticker on it.
Does anyone have a model number on that netbook?
I'd like to know too, I don't NEED it, but I'm thinking that could be nice to have.
