UFC Undisputed 3: CAGFC - Iiit's Tiiime! CAGFC41: KNOCKOUT! (Fights due by 8/18!)
I'll be making my CAG anew today now that I have warmed up a bit in career mode. Are we going to dabble at all in Pride modes? And can I get an invite to the camp assuming it is by GT and not individual fighters?
Yeah, sorry about not getting the invites out last night guys. I ended up just playing NHL 12 all night. I'll try to get on in a minute and get those sent out.

As for doing some stuff with Pride, I would love to. I think it would be fun to have a Pride Grand Prix tournament every once in a while. That will definitely have to be something we do. As mentioned though, for CAGFC, don't worry too much about doing a CAF in career mode. I mean, you CAN, but I'm not sure how you'll be limiting yourself in terms of movesets, etc. All stats will be normalized to 90 anyway, so that won't be an issue. I just don't want anybody getting stuck with a fighter with rudimentary skills.

EDIT - Ah, just saw that I can't send out camp invites to people not on my friends list. So, I'm sending you guys friend requests now. In the meantime, if you want to search for the camp, the ID is "$$$" (without quotations). And the name is "JEW CLAW", but like I said, I had to use odd symbols for the "E" and the "A", and I actually don't know what those are called, lol. The "E" looks like "0E" combined and the "A" looks like "AE" combined. Best I can do, haha.

I hate to beg but if anybody has an extra Overeem code I would appreciate one. I've tried the site that's up but I always get the the no keys are remaining message.

I am also interested in joining the camp but I need to put some more time before I go online.

Nice. I'll get your info pulled up from the old thread. That evens up the divisions pretty well. We'll definitely have our first card posted soon. I might even put it up early since the LHW division will need to do a tournament to determine the first champion. Not sure how I'll determine who gets the title shot in WW. Might just go with the first person who signed up.

We only have two HW fighters, so they'll just have to make due fighting each other until more fighters join/members are allowed to add 2nd fighters. Shouldn't be too bad though. I'm excited to get things started! I've been having a really awesome time playing the game with the equalized stats and simulation stamina. It's just a nice feeling knowing that you're not being cheated.

I'm still good for being a light heavyweight. I don't have the exact specs right now, but I can get them soon. If I need to do anything else just let me know.

Ok, cool. Just didn't want to throw anybody in a division until they confirmed where they wanted to be.

No problem. I'd rather be a heavyweight, but I'll stick to the most active division for now. Maybe I'll make my second player a heavyweight.

I suck with realistic stamina, so I'll probably lose the WW belt in short order unless others are having the problems I am.

Nate, did you send me a camp invite? I'm guessing not since the option is grayed out. Just curious; no rush.

What difficulty is everyone playing on in general? Maybe it's because barely played 2010, but I am getting my ass routinely handed to me even on Advanced by the AI.

I play on advanced and win about 80% of the time, but I had recently gone back to UFC 2010 and wrapped up some stuff on that so I was familiar with the controls.

I play on advance. I think its fair for the most part..i've had some great stand up fights on that difficulty. For me, it starts to get a bit cheap on expert. The AI starts to spam reversals too much and can dodge your punches with ease... I cant even imagine how bad it would be on ultimate... I wish there was a decent balance because on advance, im able to exploit them when I take them down.

I am putting the finishing touches on my WW fighter. Justin "The Destroyer" Kane. Aka FlatLine. He is pretty much done, minus some fine tuning.

Yeah, with sim stamina, you really have to pick your shots and be certain that you can finish a fight when you go for the KO. I also feel like it forces you to use the other aspects of MMA a little more (clinching, closed guard, cagework, etc). I've had some great fights with the AI because of it though where I just couldn't put them away, and then I'd be in danger and have to slow down and rally back. It just feels much more realistic.

And yeah, sorry, I haven't been on my Xbox since the Madden draft last night. It took my wife and I about 12 hours to collectively get 6 hours of sleep because the baby was wide awake last night. And today, we've spent the entire day trying to prevent her from sleeping to try to get her back on a somewhat normal routine. She's asleep now. Really hoping it will actually work.

EDIT - Just sent your camp invite now.

Haha, yeah, I haven't gone above Advanced either. It's weird, even with equalized stats, there were some fighters that just destroyed me. I've used both my CAF and real fighters and gotten a wide range of results. I used Kenny Florian against Sean Sherk, and just got absolutely demolished every time. Then, I fought as Overeem vs Lesnar several times, and we were just trading KO's. Recently, I used my boxing based CAF against GSP, and though I could rock him and have him in trouble several times, he would recover, and then end up submitting me because I would gas. After 5-6 matches, I was finally able to finish him.

I will say, certain fighters still spam subs quite a bit. I did the Dan Henderson vs Big Nog Best of Pride fight, and Big Nog kept going for triangle chokes over and over again. It was obnoxious, but at least I could see how to escape them...which I still feel is an improvement on the old submission system. I just like that when I lose now, I can see the reasons for it, especially with flash KO's turned off too.
For the LHWs I plan on using my CAF

Name: Kevin "The Hitman" Cepeda
Height: (6'3) To be confirmed?
Reach: (72'') To be confirmed?
The height you can actually pick yourself. It's under "physical appearance > body > height/physique". The reach you have no control over.

I'm hit or miss on advances. Beginner I'm pretty solid. In the demo, I was shite under advanced. But it may of been because I hadn't played in some time.

I may begin a career on advanced though, just to get some much needed experience in. I played one ranked match today, and won. It was a rough bout, as the guy kept trying to ground and pound. Luckily, I planned for that and had my move set ready. Reversal, elbows to the face . . . game over. Just prior as he kept going for the takedown, he got kicked in the face. 3 times. Each time, he'd stand up and charge again. After 3 times, he said fuck it and waited for me to swing. Ha.

I'm psyched now for the league, big time! :D

Damn...Borat vs Forrest Griffin was a war, lol. I escaped like 5 sub attempts, and then he knocked me out with :05 left in the fight. I love how this game gives you the feeling of just surviving. I know we're going to have some ridiculous fights in here. Hope a few people are able to record some of them. :)

What are your guys' thoughts on having mics on during matches? I like it as long as the trash talk doesn't get out of hand or the conversation is distracting.

Hm, at least it seems like everyone is on Advanced, and not saying Expert is the way to go yet. Makes me a bit less nervous about when this gets started lol

I'm starting to warm up to the submission system a bit. I still find it distracting but I understand it better and have gotten more comfortable with it.

So when is the league going to start? Also, are we going to be able to create a second character for a different weight class? Hopefully we get more heavy weights, since as of now, its just two of us.
What are your guys' thoughts on having mics on during matches? I like it as long as the trash talk doesn't get out of hand or the conversation is distracting.
I, most likely won't be using one. This is for multiple reasons. In the past, I didn't use one because the fights take such a short amount of time. AT MOST you're going to be playing somebody for 15-20 minutes. It just seemed awkward to be like "Oh, hey...hi. *1st Rd KO* Yeah, ok...talk to you later." Also, now I've got a 2 month old daughter, so depending on where/when she's sleeping, I might not be able to use my headset anyway. I would be open to maybe setting up some "Camp Nights" where we all spar, do mini-tournaments, etc. and could get a party chat going then. That would be fun.
So when is the league going to start?
I'll be getting the card set up the next couple days. Should be posted by Friday at the very latest.

Played it for a few days through Redbox since I took a sabbatical through UFC 2010. Played CAF Career Mode on Advanced. I'm pretty happy with the changes, especially since losing doesn't stunt your fighter's growth nearly as much as the first installment. I'm 25-8 and got demoted back to WFA once, but still hold an 89 rating.

Hey, wondering if you or anybody else could tell me if career fighters actually age in career mode this year. I can't remember if they fixed that for UFC 2010, but I remember in 2009 they just stayed the same age, and you were just limited in how many years they could fight. I'm about to start my career and I see that the oldest a fighter can be is 30. This makes me think they'll actually get older? If so, I'll probably just start my guy at 18 and see how long he'll fight. Thanks.

Well, I'd like to make up an official card, but we don't have names for a few of the fighters yet, so I'll just have to keep it basic for now.

CAGFC 26: The Return

Main Event - Welterweight Title Fight

Matt Young vs Conrad Silva

Co-Main Event - Heavyweight Title Fight

Big Business vs kburns10

Light Heavyweight Tournament

DarkTower80 vs Ultimate Matt X (winner faces Kevin Cepeda)

Borat Sagdiyev vs moojuice

Welterweight

Fearia vs Scorch

Let's try to get this all wrapped up by next Wednesday, 2/29, so we can move on to a hopefully more fleshed out, official card next week.

Stats for my fighter are now up

Can i get an invite to the "CAG" fight camp? My first CAF just completed his career mode and retired at 31old years -_- (ended up going 42-6) and i need to level him up somehow

On a side note, are there any logos you guys are making / waiting for? I went to content sharing and was rather surprised to download the 10 Planet, Wu-Tang Clan, and Steelers Logos :D

All right, guys, the first card is up! Even though we don't have names for some fighters, I tried to make it as official as possible. Hopefully, this will motivate some people to get things moving and we can build from here. A couple important things to note:

1. ALL fights should be set up with equalized stats and simulation stamina

2. Title fights should be set up by the defending champion and set for a length of 5 rounds (if fight is for a vacant belt, either can set up the fight...but it should still be 5 rounds)

Let's try to get this all wrapped up by next Wednesday, 2/29, so we can move on to a hopefully more fleshed out card next week. Good luck to everyone!

Good stuff. Glad about the simulation stamina...thats pretty much the only one I use.

kburns10 I sent you a friend request. Let me know whens a good time for you. I'm off today so maybe we can get this finished quickly.

Oh, one other thing I wanted to add in case people didn't see it in the OP.

The results of your fights should be posted in this thread by both the winner and the loser (to maintain accuracy) in the following format:

Winner | Loser | Outcome (ie. KO, TKO, submission, unanimous decision, split decision) | Time/Round

Hey thanks I will go accept it in a bit. I'm off until 4 PM PST, so we should be able to fight sometime today. Also, my completed stats:

Name: Tj "The Bull" Taylor
Height: 6'4"
Reach: 78"

Great job getting that fight done, guys! And with that, we have our newest CAGFC Heavyweight champion! Congrats to Big Business. Sounds like it was a great fight! I'm sure there will be many more to come. :)
Congrats to Shotgunshine! Good match!

Shotgunshine | KBURNS10 | TKO | 3:46/R2
Good fight sir. I was sure I had you in the first round. Nice job surviving. I was getting tagged good in the second until I got the takedown.

Yeah that first round showed me I gotta work on alternating blocks better lol. I wanted to submit you and be done with that fight cuz standing proved a no go!

So I fought 12 fights in WFA before I went to UFC. Was that too many? Won the WFA belt in fight 8 or 9 & waited until I got a favorable match in UFC (Forrest Griffin.)

Welterweight title bout is going down on Sunday.

UMX, DarkTower is easy to reach via PM or XBL message in case you haven't tried those routes yet.

Just lost to DarkTower via Round 2 KO @ 1:00. Won our two exhibition fights afterwards, but couldn't win the one that counted.

My guys final stats are Matt "The Boogie Man" Domoracki, 5'11", and 205. I might make some slight changes to him over time, but it'll be this guy.

Oh to make it look more official.

DarkTower's Guy (can't remember the name) | Matt Domoracki | KO | 1:00/2

Scorch, I sent a friend request yesterday but I think it was declined (or I failed to send it). I sent another with a message stating who I am. I'm available most of the weekend, and anytime after 8 PM tomorrow. When are you ready?

Note: My Gamertag is "BeFlatLine".
DarkTower80 | UMX | KO | 1 min R2.
All right, "man with no name". Did you or did you not make Corky Buchek? lol. Also, Brandon that moves you on in the tournament to fight nycmetsfan. So, you guys feel free to get that fight done anytime too.

I went about ~15 fights in WFA. I would have stayed longer but all my fight choices were in the UFC. I've had about 6 fights in UFC fight night. I want to level up my guy as much as possible before I go on to fight the bigger names. Even now I'm outranked by like 5 points. (My guy is rated like a 79 and my opponents are like an 83 or 84).

I just made my guy but I'm not sure if I'll have him ready to go before the next card. Are you guys just making your fighter in career mode or in CAF?

Here's my info:

WW
Name: Jack "The Ripper" Jackson
Height: 5'8"
Reach: 69"
