I had a hard time remembering Rey as IC Champ, to be honest. His place in the top 25 is only because his name is Rey Mysterio, same can be said (and has been) with Steve Austin.
I'm just hoping for naturals—or really good, undetectable implants. A friend send over some, uh, "uncovered" photos that Brooke Adams did prior to her TNA stint. She has perhaps the worst implant job I've seen.
From what I understand, this is not a picture spread. it's just supposed to be an article on the Knockouts.

Several TNA Knockouts are featured in the new issue of Penthouse. Tara announced the appearance via her Twitter today.

I am told it's a story on the Knockouts and (sorry fellas) not a photo spread.

Yep, Victoria requested to do a Playboy shoot, Rock88. WWE never pulled the trigger.
If you're interested in Brooke Adams for her

Or just tell her to turn around.
Ha! Yes. Good point. I saw a vlog she did with Varon. She reminds me of someone I dated in college. Fun personality.

Edit: And thanks for the clarification, Spyder.

I'm gonna catch flack for this, but the only reason we remember Mr. Perfect as being so good was because he had killer mic skills and he was not only a decent technical wrestler, but he was a great heel manager.

Had he not died so early, his legacy would have faded and you'd look at him much differently than you do now. We remember "Mr. Perfect" as being at the top of his game (Wrestlemania 9, I think it was? He made Luger look good, which was tough to do). We forget Curt Hennig that was boring as fuck in WCW with "nWo Hollywood", singing shitty Country songs.

I first remember Hennig from his days as AWA champ and his great feud with Lawler. The Mr. Perfect gimmick always chafed me since they almost never used his name. That was always a sticking point with me where WWF was concerned, totally whitewashing almost all newly signed wrestlers and frequently saddling them with a terrible gimmick.

Perfect's last run in WWE was odd. It always felt like he was Captain America or something, just completely out of his time.
We forget Curt Hennig that was boring as fuck in WCW
So was Bret Hart, that's certainly not because he wasn't competent.

I've been watching a lot of the Legends of Wrestling Roundtable discussions on YouTube that were previously featured "on demand". Some pretty awesome stories being shared in those. Too bad they don't do them anymore (to my knowledge).
Agreed. It's weird watching this. Hennig vs. RVD w/ Eddie Guerrero on commentary.
Part of the reason it's weird is because they seem to have absolutely no chemistry together. Hennig had no timing on selling RVD's strikes

For anyone interested, I have a ton of shit on DVD I either watched a long time ago or never got around to. If someone needs something, let me know.

They jobbed him out, plain and simple...which seriously pissed me off because he drew an amazing response from his last Royal Rumble appearance. (his comeback) They did the exact same thing to The Road Warriors with RVD and Kane.

I wouldn't say they jobbed him out. Who knows? Maybe Hennig wanted to put over the younger talent.
Wasn't the 2000 Souled Out PPV the one where Sid snapped his leg trying a kick from the second turnbuckle?
Nah. It was one of the early 2001 PPV's that happened at. i think the one if Feb or March.

Yeah. I just looked it up and it was the Sin PPV in 2001 where he broke his leg.:whistle2:#

Any Divas match from here on out until Kong returns is bullshit. Well, even moreso now.

I hate to say it, but you have to admit it's kinda true. This is the WWE Universe™ we're talking about here. The same company that has taken many great opportunities for interesting storylines and sent them flushing down the crapper. The same company that came up with a storyline where Mae Young gave 'birth' to a bloody rubber hand.

So yeah, I don't have much faith in the company to use the talent they have under contract to their fullest potential. Well....unless their names are John Cena and Triple H.

Two sport WWE stars.

You know they COULD put Kharma in a feud with Beth, but, you know, that would make too much sense.

In other news, I just read this on Cena's Twitter:

John Cena ‏@JohnCena
STARTING Monday Night July 23 @USA_NETWORK WILL BE ADDING A 3RD HOUR TO @WWE MONDAY NIGHT RAW - PERMANENTLY. #3hourRaw

I wonder how much non-wrestling bullshit they'll manage to squeeze into the extra hour. Maybe dedicate a segment to plugging Pawn Stars, or maybe trot out Tom Green as a guest host?

Y'know. I would think that at this point, finally merging the two rosters has to be coming. Again, that's just me thinking.

Also has me thinking if there would be any point to have Smackdown around anymore. I wouldn't miss it. Hell, I just read the spoilers nowadays.

I wouldn't mind RAW adding a third hour .... if the show ran like 3 hour Nitro programs. No filler video packages (maybe one or two per show at most), just tons of wrestling action. I don't even give a shit that Nitro had guys like Rick Fuller and Mark Starr against Luger or DDP, as long as we got to see some fucking wrestling.

What we will most likely get is about 45 minutes worth of video packages and a shit-ton more "Did You Know??? WWE iz teh best!!!1!" things to gawk at.

fuck.

Raw is already FULLLLLL of video replays (including the "how dumb do you think we are?" post-commercial replay of goddamn-near everything that happened before the commercial break), too long talkie-talk-talk segments, and the matches are like 90-180 seconds long.

What in the world could they add? Match length? I'll believe they'll bring back WCW as a legitimate entity before they bring back actual wrestling.

Raw is itself largely irrelevant in my view. Making it 50% longer isn't going to improve that.

And I had no idea that Castagnoli played pro sports before wrasslin. If so, he's the odd-man-out in these comparisons.

To be fair, everyone from wwf / ecw who defected to wcw had shitty underwhelming careers there. What did macho man, ted dibiase, bret hart, scott hall or anyone else do once the reached wcw? Hell, even hogans run was absolute shit outside the nwo run. Even then, it had its moments before being ran into the ground.

Only jeff jarret comes to mind as to having a better career leaving wwf, and while mike awesome and lance storm had brief succes, it was nothing compared to their ecw runs.

Macho was entertaining in WCW. He won the strap a few times, got fucked over by Liz and the Nature Boy, had the great feud with DDP, caused dissention in the nWo, threw Rodman in a port-o-potty, broke Lil Naitch's collarbone with an elbow off the top, and introduced us to Gorgeous George.

Yeah, not as great as his WWF run but I still remember much of it.

Kurt Angle in a recent interview:

Why He Can No Longer Play A Heel:

"I've done everything, from comedy to being the badass. ... I think my character now is more true to life than I've ever been. It's just the real Kurt Angle. I think it's because, thank God, I got to the point where fans now look at me as one of the best of all time. So it's kind of hard to be the bad guy now, when the fans have the respect for you.

The Reason He Hasn't Retired Yet:

I probably would have retired a a couple of years ago if I wasn't so good," Angle laughed. "It sounds very arrogant. I know it sounds very pompous, but yeah, when I started, I didn't realize I was going to pick it up so quickly."

Discuss.
Kurt Angle in a recent interview:

I can't argue with that. As far as everything he does on camera goes, he is one of the best of all time. He's just batshit crazy when he's not performing.
Brooke Hogan is following in her father's giant yellow footsteps ... TMZ has learned she just inked a deal to join the TNA Wrestling family.

TNA President Dixie Carter tells TMZ ... Brooke is NOT going to be a wrestler ... but rather an executive who will be tasked to develop female talent.

she should have gone that route ages ago. shes got the size for it id just hope shes have more than 4 or 5 movies like her dad. and that they would be believable moves.
