I agree. Big Surf Island is worth 320 points. I just bought it last week for that price, and dusted off my copy of Burnout Paradise so I could play it. I would have considered it overpriced at it's original 1,000(?) point price, for it's worth 320. It adds another metro area to drive around, a fun construction site to screw around in, another beach, plenty of jumps and billboards, a parking garage or two, good stuff. Go for it if that sale is still live.
 
Looks like I might trade my PvZ disk in to Amazon for $9.50 and get Peggle for sure and maybe PvZ again. I just hate how the disk continuously runs when I play them. I have played a ton of PvZ but Peggle is a game I can hop on for a few challenges and then stop.
 
I am having a problem - I purchased Bejeweled Blitz, Heavy Weapon, and Feeding Frenzy 2. I got error messages after confirming both purchases on Heavy Weapon and Feeding Frenzy 2. The points were deducted from my balance, but neither of the games aren't in my download queue.

The site is also acting very funny. Just a heads up, everyone.

EDIT - both items are showing up in my purchase history, but I am unable to add them to my queue... I keep on getting an error message.

I'll update everyone when I can finally add them.

EDIT 2 - It's working now.

I'm definitely getting plants vs zombies, a few of the others sound interesting so I will be keeping an eye on this thread to see what else you guys are picking up or recommend.
 
PvZ was on sale for 600 before too right, or was that 800? Either way, I was really hoping to be a cheap ass and get it for 400, but I might bite at 600.

Word of warning, I too had an issue yesterday with a purchase, engouh to call MS Xbox support. According to the support representative, their login servers were "down" yesterday (6/20) afternoon (US time). That may have caused a purchase of mine to transfer funds but not download (my download history did not reflect the purchase, yet MS points were removed).

The MS support representative gave me a refund, but that burns my one payment error allowed for refund situations (I would've rather they just gave me the Strania DLC, I eventually purchased again anyway, but it all ended out as it should). So, I'm just warning of potential errors.

Last time it was on sale was just over 2 months ago at 800 pts. 600 pts is still an awesome deal for the game not to mention PvZ is teh awesome.

Feeding freenzy 2 has 2 player co op. So if you are going to be playing with her. I would get frenzy 2. If not then it doesnt matter which version you get.

I see that ad as well, but when I click to download the game, it still shows as 1200msp.

Ahhhh. I won the game via contest so I couldnt see the price. I guess a price drop is coming soon for it.


Also ANOTHER sega sale???!!! I will buy the 360 sega allstars racing for half off 1200msp!! That has sold written all over it!!! I wouldnt mind picking up the sonic part 1 but only at 400msp

I bought it today and have enjoyed it so far. Basically what I can say is, try the demo. The full game is more of the same, but it is a fun way to kill 30 minutes here or there.

Imo no single player is almost the same on the both. Just on 2 you can jump out of the water and collet bugs on later lvls. But other than that and some new fish its the same game

I passed on the awesome ME2 deals during the Winter, in hopes that we get a GOTY. This seems less likely now, unless there have been any recent rumblings on that front.
Might as well pick em up now. Voting for ME2

It will be interesting to see what Sega puts on sale, but really? I think their entire library has been on sale at this point.

Wow I must have missed that sale because I bought it on PS3 a couple of weeks ago for $10 thinking that was the first sale on the console versions.

I voted ME 2 even though I have everything I would want from these 4 sales. I won't buy the AC 2 content because it's single player add-ons without any extra achievements and they were cut from the game to sell seperately.

i have all the dlc for all of those games already so ill throw in a mass effect 2 vote for you.
 
I voted Bad Company 2. I would have voted Left 4 Dead 2, but the prices on those campaigns are already pretty damn good.

No double deal week this week. Darn. If there is in fact a sega sale Thursday that would be interesting. I think I bought almost everything they had to offer last time they had a huge sale though.
 
I'll vote for Mass Effect 2, since it is the only game I own out of the 4 actually >_> I just hope the Arrival DLC will be apart of it, got the other 3 during the last sale. Winter it seems, since everyone is saying that. Anyway, are the 200 MSP games worth getting? I already got PvZ and Feeding Frenzy 2.
 
From what I understand, it's more of a Sonic sale than a Sega sale that's suppose to start on Thursday. I just hope that the DLC for Sonic & Sega All-Stars Racing goes on sale. Been waiting to get that.
 
Watch ME2 will win the vote and then they won't put The Arrival on sale. I'm waiting for the last DLC to go on sale to start my 2nd run.

Also is it just me or does Gatling Gears feel like (based on demo play) an 800MSP game anyway? I would consider it for 600 points probably and just impulse buy for 400 or less.

Also just saw on the dash the Mortal Kombat Season Pass. ONLY 1200MSP for 4 characters and 8 skins! What a...deal? How much are they selling this stuff for normally?? They've got some chutzpah putting that content up for 400 more points than the L.A. Noire Pass. They should be including at least an extra stage or two at the same price let alone more. Perhaps they will drop the price on the pass shortly.

I agree when I played the Gatling Gears demo I was like this is a 800 point game at best and I'd wait for it to be 400 before I bought it.

Also, I don't even play MK, but I thought the same thing when I saw that like really 1200 for a couple new characters & skins?! Seriously?!

All AC 2 DLC has been on sale before.
Most of the older ME 2 DLC has been on sale before. One just came out a month and a half ago, so if ME 2 wins, that one probably wont be on sale.

God forbid they just put all that stuff on sale and make it a good week. Only thing I want is The Sacrifice but it doesn't look like L4D is gonna be winning.

So, it sounds that L4D2 is the best vote for something that has not been on sale before. Opinion of course. I think I'll vote for ME2 as I too was waiting for a new disc verision to include the DLC, and has not happened.
I like dlc going on sale as most if not all dlc is overpriced in my opinion. On another note, there is SO much content on live that they don't need to repost the same sales over and over within the same year (12months). Almost all of those games exluding two dlcs respectively have been on sale. So on one hand, it is awesome for those that missed it, but a slight bummer for those wanting something fresh. I am glad to pick up some titles finally this week! But I would love to see arcade DLC on sale as it doesn't seem to ever happen. Like Grubbins on Ice anyone???
