Aren't you putting more dust into your PS3 by going vertical? Put it horizontal and look at where all the dust is. It's on top. The side where the HDD goes looks mostly dust free. In vertical your vents are facing up, thus lots of dust is going straight into it. Horizontal is better IMO.

If you count western RPG's then the PS3 has quite a bit to look forward to. If you mean JRPG's then yeah that's kind of true. Japan hasn't really held up on their end as far as RPG's go IMO on any platform. There's probably some stuff going on behind the scenes so stuff will most likely show up...
