I just got a call from the Philadelphia FYE saying they got ZERO black consoles in and my pre-order can't be honored. I have no idea what to do. I'm taking a red-eye flight tonight so I don't even have the option of camping out. This is why I pre-ordered! So I wouldn't have to deal with this...

I just walked into an FYE this morning and preordered a deluxe model for $50 down. They seemed surprised that I wasn't just going to try my chances on launch day, so I'm guessing they haven't had many preorders.

Probably going to grab Fable II. $24.99 is pretty solid, especially since the first free episode hooked me and Microsoft wants ten bucks for each new chapter.

Can people who ordered check their confirmation email? Mine is saying "Shipping estimate for these items: May 26, 2009." I'm wondering if they sold out of the intial shipment and are bumping people back a week.

I believe that the free 1000 points was only for Japan; Nintendo is planning a code redemption system via Club Nintendo when you register your DSi (which is most likely what this offer refers to).

Yeah, you're spot on. Nocturne Maniax Chronicle Edition doesn't feature Dante at all. Considering how there's already a US translation for Nocturne, it shouldn't require much effort to bring the Chronicle Edition to the US as well.

Amazon's Black Friday Sale, specifically the Korg DS-10 for $25. It may not be for everyone, but that is an INSANE price for that software.

Make sure you've registered the serial for your Wii system as well. Mine didn't show up until I did this.

It's in the Wii Shop channel, first choice under "settings." --- According to the Nintendo rep I spoke to, you do not get points for gifted games or games redeemed via download ticket. :(

Er, except for the fact that I can't connect to anything Nintendo related from my Wii, including the shop channel. I wonder how many of those two million Wiis from November were given as Christmas gifts? :hot:

These should be identical to the ones that were offered in Japan, as there's no region specific text. Here's a post on those with some images. It's interesting to note that you can get a deck of the Japanese Nintendo Hanafuda cards for about $15 at places like Rising Stuff.

They send it at the end of the Club Nintendo year. It's in the FAQ, I believe.
